slimyem: Women wanting what they want doesn't make them dramatic.More like insatiable and its isn't just a womanly quality in this case.Its a human quality generally and there's no crime in that.
As long as it doesn't stretch beyond certain limits,its every husband/wife's duty to make sure that his/her partners needs or desires are being satisfied and where it cannot be,communication should suffice.
Stop making it sound like what women want are unreasonable just because some men find it difficult to keep up.

jntyjnty007: Yes she should tell husband as soon as possible. But, if you have ever been raped before, or have worked with people who have been raped, in many cases it is easier said than done. Culture also has a big factor to play in cases of rape. So many rapes all over the world go unreported because the victims are simply so scared and ashamed. Often they feel it was themselves that caused it, but that is so far from the truth.

Rape is ultimately about power, not how someone is dressed etc etc.

The shock of it can just be too much so a person will hide it and become withdrawn. Staying silent has repercussions and can be fatal if you don't speak out. Rape is evil. It can shatter all your self-esteem and confidence just like that. You need people around you to restore that back and very quickly to enable you to gain the strength to go and report. Or if need be have someone around you who you trust completely to support you when you inform the relevant parties of this inhumane crime.

It won't ruin a marriage or relationship unless you let that happen. Hard, but the truth. Anyone who has been raped has nothing to lose and everything to gain by reporting it. When you seek justice you will find peace.

1. You must have known this your BIL to have this animalistic behaviour yet you have not been careful with your dealings with and around him
2. Your BIL has some knowledge about your "waywardness" and " inviting behaviour towards him. Or how else do I believe otherwise when your revealing dress here suggests so. If you could put up this photo of yours up in a public forum, I wonder how worse you dress in presence of your relatives.
3. You probably enjoyed the "raping" the first time hence it happened the second time. If not you would've prevented that 2nd one. Or why did you open the door that 2nd time when you already knew his intention? Or did he force his way in?

In the many protests that have affected Nigeria, have women not been there? When women in Jos etc have protested, which man here applauded them?

When women have threatened to protest without clothes even, were they not made fun of?

At the end of the day, instead of complaining about Nigerian women, Nigerian men need to honestly ask themselves when was the last time they protested wife beating, discrminiation against female access education, female genetal mutilation etc?

If you can not boldly put your hand up and say you ever protested issues affecting Nigerian women and girl children, then shut the fk up about the Nigerian women protesting for you.

Is it not your Nigerian man who is behind he suffering of the whole nation?

Boko Haram, drug smuggling, kidnap, fake drugs, 419.......the VAST majority of all the shameful reports both at home and abroad are as a result of what Nigerian men do.....maybe Nigerian women are tired of it.

Tell yourselves the truth, its what Nigerian MEN are doing in SA, that is sparking the discrimination in the first place.

It is because of your own fellow Nigerian men that these wives and your own kids endure such prejudice. The same way that any Nigerian abroad gets the sideways look and suspicion because of what,largely, Nigerian men do.

this is why i always advise my mates to always go for women with a high self-esteem and the ability to be alone. women who constantly seek a second opinion on the colour of undies to wear are potential emotional cheats.....

i agree technology has drastically changed human interaction in the last 10 yrs but most married women have the emotional make-up of a 13 year old girl. the short absence of their partners is a valid excuse to log on facebook and seek out a buddie to fill the void.
