TO GET BACK INTO NIGERIA, WE GOT A REPORT FROM THE POLICE AND TOOK THIS TO THE EMBASSY IN ILLOVO, WHERE A TRAVEL DOCUMENT WAS ISSUED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR BY A VERY KIND AND SYMPATHETIC OFFICIAL. WE ARE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO HIM.
- Also where in Joburg did you stay, the hotel name
WE STAYED AT HYDRO EXECUTIVE APARTMENTS
- How did you meet the Taxi driver, was it from the hotel
THE TAXI WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND WHO PICKED HIM UP FROM GUATENG STATION. UNFORTUNATELY FOR US WE DIDN'T KNOW THIS AT THE TIME.
The hotel may also be in on it
I BELIEVE THE HOTEL STAFF WERE INVOLVED TOO AS WE SAW HIM (TAXI DRIVER) TALKING TO THE HOTEL SECURITY

I know hydro apts close to west street and I had friends that stayed there

I used the gautrain and will continually be using it

We all know ZA is a dangerous country but we justcan learn from each other

worldtraveller: Sandton is not exclusive or safe. Most of the robbers follow people staying in hotels in Sandton. My friend was followed from the Hilton and robbed and another friend was followed from the Michaelangelo hotel.

The problem from nigeria is the religion and the so called man of good and what they tell there followers. I have many friends from different christian churches but most of them say that how the nigerian christian people belive in god that comes from america and not all what comes from this country is good.
