1) The money dey use to give citizen every year,pls does dis applicable to mama's&baby in nigger dat d child is a citizen and aw much is d money

Good day house,pls all the guru's in d house should come to my aid.
I just paid my doctor's bill of 2200$ with houston north west medical center and after all the scan done my planned Cs is for 17 of july and my husband interview is for 24th of july
have already told doc xydas to send my receipt to my hubby so dat he can use it to defend himsef
my questions now are:
1)is deir a place in d ds160 form dat will identified is one has paid for bills or not?
2)if asked at the embessy why he's going to the us,what do u think d answer shld be?
pls house help me I want him to elaborate dat aspect very well so dat the payment for the bills will show.

don't forget dat I would have given birth before the interview.

I opened an account with Bank of America 2 days ago and they only requested for my international passport with visa in it.
Maybe you should try another branch.
Are you in Houston?
Maybe it depends on your location.

yehhh,i also opened bank of America alc here in houston 2days ago.will advise to try another branch dey've not change any policies.dey will just ask for ur passport and u will use 50$as deposit..

lemme share my P.O.E xperiennce
firstly,thanks to those that advise to take turkish/delta cos am 35 weeks.
Finally I took turkish and at the embassy at port health I bribe them for 4k cos dey r saying dey can't give me cos am 36 and I was arguing with dem dat am 35,my DH just told me not to talk again and he gave dem d money.
took turkish and had a stop over at Istanbul and fast forward to CBP officer at the point of entry.
CBP: why are u here
me:to have my baby cos am pregnant and I make it known to dem at the embassy
CBP:wow,so u are pregnant
me:yess I am
CBP:were does ur hubby works
me:he works bleep(the way I said it at the embassy)
CBP:are these ur document(cos my doc is at his desk)
me:yes I have with me doc correspondence e.t.c
CBP:he checked the doc correspondence
CBP:were will u be staying
me:made a reservation at comfort suite
CBP:he collected it frm me and help me fill it in the immigration form given to me
me:thanx
that's all ooo,he didn't asked me how much am carry neither did I go for secondary investigation.he just said I Shld put my finger print and he stamped me in for 6month.

all u need is prayer and confidence .and I thank God for journey mercy.thought of giving back to d house cos I also learnt one or two things here.

Check the pregnancy policy on their site. It is clear and understandable. Who can issue the letter, when it is required, period within which it must be written and what to be stated on the letter can be found there. Check it yourself to ensure you do not miss anything.
BTW the calculation is to confirm that you are not expected to give birth 4 weeks from the flight date.
No port screening was done for my DW

tnx sir,av read and done all wot I read on the Internet just that I heard I was going to do another test at the air port,so just want to be sure if scan or normal routine test or test won't be conducted at all

pls house make una quick enlighthen me,those that have gone through turkish,what kind of test is conducted for them at the airport.i need to be sure cos by doctor calculation is 34weeks2days but by scan 35weeks and we all know scan is faster than doc cal.
pls I want to know is its scan test dey do for them on turkish or normal routine test

Depends on the airline. Some airlines like Qatar requires you to download a form from their website and give it to your doctor to fill and sign. For BA, you simply present the letter from your doctor stating how far gone you are at the time of travel, number of fetus and that you are fit to fly.

You can check Turkish website for their pregnancy policy. Am only sure about BA, they accept up to 36weeks for a singleton.

tnx for the ans ma'am,i checked the turkish website and they can carry from 28th-35weeks with one singleton and they will check the fit to fly fro doc.thnx ma'am I think am okay with that.
Bt my question now is,is fit to fly also known as medical clearance and what dos MEDIF means? plss

It was just some measurements they did to ascertain the no of weeks gone...and also bp check...it all depends on the airline..not all airlines request for port health certificate...my advise is for you to leave this week cos most airlines don't carry passenger that ate 36weeks...virgin is 32weeks...so you need to do your research on available airlines to know the max weeks...don't forget that 35wks and 1 day is presumed 36weeks

Here's my traveling and POE experience
I left Nigeria on the 1St of June via Qatar..bought my return ticket #360k....take off time was meant to be 2:15pm but was delayed by an HR...I was asked to go to port health for a test which I did and paid #1500.
Flight was smooth to Doha..was suppose to have a 2HR stop over at Doha but we didn't spend up to 45min before we boarded for new york.I only showed port health certificate during check in at Doha...no cbp approached me...flight to JFK NY was very smooth and long..on arrival I did my self service afterwards queued ...the queue wasn't that long and there were just 2 cbp officers 1 American man and 1 chinko man..the American was just passing everyone without too many questions but the chinko spent more than 10mins with each person..so while I was praying not to go to the chinko ll and behold twas my turn to face the chinko guy...

Me: Good morning
Chinko: no response
Then I gave him my passport
Chinko: why are you here
Me: vacation and childbirth
Chinko: really! Have you contacted a Doctor
Me: yes in Houston and I handed him my correspondence
Chinko: oh you are still going to Houston..okay..how much are you gonna spend on hospital bill
Me: about #6500
Chinko: oh OK cos it's self pay right
Me: Yea..
Chinko: stamped me in for 6months and he asked me to proceed to get my luggage and then pronounced my name in a funny way..and said I thought he wouldn't be able to pronounce my name right..
We both laughed and that was it.
My egusi was seized cos twasnt blended...that was all..

me:to have access to good health care service (me I xplained some personal issue to her)

me:yez,doc Nicolas xydas and d name of the hospital is Houston north west medical center
vo:aw do u come about the hospital
me:did extensive research on the internet and I learn a lot(nairaland forum u know)
vo:aw long av u been working
me:6yrs

pick up ur Visa in 3days time, congratulations
seriously I just started smiling me saying tnk u Jesus. the interview was very lively seriously and I learn a lot from dis forum dat we should give details of our ans

my question now is
1)will be going next week and I will be 35weeks By dat time(pls I know is late don't abuse me please) the medical someone said she did at the airport ,is it for scan or wot and pls house enlighten me on how to go abt it
2) in the form I fill on my ds form my intended date of arrival is next week Wednesday but want to extend it to Friday, will dat bring alert at the poe or any were
3) house u can play suggest which flight to bud dat won't raise any alert of my weeks

Pls house I need ur help,the doctor corresp frm an hospital in texas(nycolas xydas woman center) it was introduced by a frnd and in the letter it was stated that the delivery will be done at houston north west medical center.it stated in the letter that money is not allowed in advance and the delivery for cs is 2200dollars which covers all office visit,the delivery and so on
My question is if asked by the VO aw much is my budget,wot should I say with the amt frm the correspon? And is the amt not too small cos am seeing 10,000dollars pls house
