Education / Re: ABU Zaria Electricity Bill Is 90million Naira Per Month. by BioXtraOrganics: 10:12pm On May 07, 2016
If the electricity consumption is metered, and their bill amounts to that when calculated with the government approved tarrif, then it's fair. Let them learn to save energy, prevent wastage and do everything possible to keep consumption minimal.

Computers / Re: Small Cylinder In Your Laptop Charger: Ever Wondered What It Is For (afriwap) by BioXtraOrganics: 10:57pm On May 03, 2016
timidapsin:

I bet no one ever thought of this until now.

So you have been using your laptops for years

And it is mostly plugged to an electric socket

Now people are wondering, what small cylinder?

Yes that small Cylinder

The cylinder is known as Ferrite Bead.

It isolates the laptop from the electro-magnetic noise that occurs from the waves picked up by the cable, or from the noise in AC-DC converter.

It is a kind of electronic choke

It dissipates high-frequency currents in a ferrite ceramic, and helps make the most powerful noise suppression device! It is called a core, block, or EMI ring.

So, that is what it is all about.

Do share this significant piece of knowledge with your friends. Of course, after asking them about it, and projecting yourself as the smarter one!

SOURCE: http://afriwap.com/pc-hardware/ever-wondered-what-the-small-cylinder-in-your-laptop-charger-is-for/

So what would have happened or gone wrong if these EMI noise isn't filtered out??

Those men don't look happy at all.

it feels like a serious demotion, "now everybody for my yard go kon know say I no be original police..." na wa o

For the records, S.P.Y does not mean spy (secret investigator). NO.

It stands for: SUPERNUMERARY POLICE Y...... (Na una sabi)
So in short ehn, they are just security men policing a big compound owned by a private company.

Just like the security men we have in Federal Universities. They have no powers to carry gun or do anyhow once they reach main road o.

You understood, typical Africans who don't like to read anything are already commenting spy gibberish above.

Politics / Re: Eyewitness Account Of Fulani Attack In Enugu State......(photos)...Greatiyk4u by BioXtraOrganics: 11:46pm On Apr 27, 2016
greatiyk4u:

I think you have comprehension problem,

I said within 48hrs meaning not more than 48hrs, 4 real the story has it that the police and army arrived soon after the attack,

I also wrote that the attackers are about 50 in numbers....meaning not specific

Logically u are very weak, so try again later......

An eye witness now saying "...the story has it that...", really I choose to go with the police's report on the casualty figures, and I already concluded that this particular attackers had no more than cutlass and daggers with them, the element of surprise was their only advantage over the victims. Now this doesn't becloud the fact that some Nigerians murdered other Nigerians gruesomely in their sleep.

What I'm saying is clearly, you waited for the police report to confirm the number of casualties, which you then used to coin an ass-licking report to placate your conscience for earlier comments.

You didn't even have the decency to call for justice for the dead and grieving. All you had was a temerity to call out paltry sums that they were promised, which was supposed to replace people they lost? How can you give the govt credit for sending soldiers for "peace keeping" on our own soil? How about launching an investigation and fishing out and prosecuting the perpetrators, whomever they are?

Am a patriot and also acknowledge buhari as the president of this country, but some things doesn't require political chauvinism. Am not too happy about those bandying figures, but that might actually be the only way to get the govts attention, seems humans lives don't matter in Nigeria unless the figures is up, quite pathetic.

May I ask when did you arrive at uzo-uwani? Your report didn't state that. That's the first thing you should have stated in an eye witness report.

To think that northern Nigeria is about three times the size of of southern Nigeria. Imagine any tribe from the south attempting to claim land in any part of the North for whatsoever reason.

Romance / Re: Dating A Broke Guy (my Experience): Is It Worth It? by BioXtraOrganics: 8:04pm On Apr 26, 2016
Op, I don't have any business with who dates who. Everyone goes for who they want, rich or poor should totally depend on you. I've got one advice for you tho, if you don't free yourself from that bandwagon effect of impressing your girlfriends and letting you esteem partly hinge on their assessment & approval, am afraid having a fulfilled life would elude you. Making your boyfriend "appear" rich before your girlfriends, like WTF? Separate your squad of girlfriends from your relationship, and help your man build that future you see in him.

Edit.. .

Oh, this is even some lifted fiction and am wasting my breath.

Still all girls should learn from what u said above, girlfriends won't build your own home for you.

olowodaddy:

No. School of Health Tech trains darkroom technicians, the truth is that they are gradually being phased out with the advent of digital radiography.
I learnt some instuitions in the north because of the shortage of hands are awarding some "diplomas" but this is quackery and won't get u registered.
The recognized Universities offering radiography today are Unilag, UNN, UNICAL and Unimaid. To the best of my knowledge

Thanks man.

Nowadays in Nigeria, where the course is now been offered only at the universities, I guess you're right. But, you'll have to consult the JAMB requirements.

One question, there is a radiology course that leads to a diploma in medical radiology and imaging, offered in colleges of health technologies. Would this qualify one to be a radiographer? ?

With this kind of post, lots of sentiments come in. No one would agree the school he/she attended is below par, even though we all know that these schools just like all other schools in Nigeria are living on almost depleted past glories. Schools like imsu and esut doesn't even have any past glory to start with.

Seems do.ggy is the favourite position.

Now is Fulani herds men.

How do people feel after killing their fellow human?

In all, I still blame those that invented guns and other destructive weapons. Those inventions are really wiping away mankind from the earth.

Even before the invention of any weapons of any sort, humans killed humans with crude means, stones, clubs and even bare hands.
