oh man, West is so messy. Either no 1 or 2 seed, someone has to play rockets and clippers in round 2. Dantoni hasnt had a team this good since Nash/Amare/JJohnson and Clippers might actually play healthy this year with a high scoring bench.
Eruditor: No disrespect to the Cavs but, it is still the western teams that worry me. SAS are playing solid with great ball movement and tight defending. You can tell they are moving the ball so as to create clean looks for the shooter. They play close to zero Iso so they are harder to predict. I know we say this often here but I don't think the East will beat the team that comes out of the west this year. That is how clear it looks at this moment.
I agree with you. I think if the Rockets come out of the west, no eastern team has the manpower to play the way they play, or slow them down. Spurs are a dark horse to me...Kawhi is an unselfish superstar, and I expect Popovich and that coaching staff to be ready to spring some surprises. I see how they are resting parker and lamarcus in the name of "injuries"..stiff back today, tingling leg tomorrow . Obviously trying to prep for playoffs on the DL. Warriors are deadly too, but they are a known quantity, and starting 5 chemistry is not close to 100%. Plus their bench is nowhere near as good as last year imo, and the cavs bench has gotten much better.
fantasy playoffs is here yall . dont nobody give excuse of I didnt know...check yourtteams, hide your wives, hide your kids!! Oh, and playoffs for Skywalker has been postponed till further notice
Boss13: She just finished her interview with Sahara reporters live on Facebook
but this is not the evidence we are looking for. where are the bullets keyamo promised to release. all these encounters and only bad photoshops? still waiting... keyamo knows he has goofed. btw i am not a suleiman fan..dont even listen to him or care much for his ministry
Boss13: Chief - Keyamo has seen something we, the public is not privileged to see. If we are fortunate enough, we may see them. I believe there is sufficient evidences and it's laughable that Suleiman's lawyer is threatening to take Keyamo to disciplinary committee instead of court. There is so much more to this story.
Boss13: Keyamo doesn't care what you feel about him. If this case isn't profitable, he won't take it. And I'm sure they are negotiating at the moment.
But he cares what fellow lawyers think. And he goofed here. There are too many "tells" when this girl is narrating the supposed events. Its a lie, and I think even she is surprised at the credible Nigerians that can be so gullible. The photoshop is laughable...Suleiman is going to win big in this thing
Eruditor: Brother man, they are not coasting o. There is fire on the mountain. A palpable one. I know you know better than to claim this season mirrors the last 2 because it doesn't. At this point, Bron was being rested here and there which was precipitating the odd inconsistent losses here and there not this drove.
The only reason Cavs still have a great chance is Bron, weak conference and NBA. With this form, they literally drop to 4th seed in the West and even if by some chance they see Semi or even WCF, they would do it with bandaids on every part of their bodies and tired legs. And you know Lebron is not as young as he used to be.
They need that big man in the center to help defensively. This was clear way early into the season.
Lebron peaked like 2 seasons ago no doubt. I will say raps, wiz, celtics can beat anyone this year in 7 game series...for real. After warriors, Spurs and Rockets, the west looks crappy (sorry clippers, but i know you are going to dissappoint with another injury). The only team that is a matchup nightmare and definite loss for the cavs in the west in Rockets. They have enough firepower to play their style...way too fast for a lbj led team.
SmooshCHN: I know you was expecting Jr Smith return would change 2-5 in the last 7 games. Back to Back to Back Ls. Cavs and Warriors have been struggling of late. With their 'depth" Cavs should be good.
both teams made the finals last year. they know they probably will again and the target is on their backs. Regardless of how hard it looks like they are playing, I assure you they are coasting on star power, trying to end the season without getting injured, getting mentally tired and giving away plays. They are going to try and win no 1 seed if they can. But they know 2 or 3 seed is no biggie. warriors especially know they have a slugfest coming up. Cavs are going to get punched in the mouth a couple of times, maybe knock some teeth loose . Half the coaching staff is probably drawing up plays and matchups even now.
SmooshCHN: Tell me.. Who wanted you guys to get hurt here?? Even on GSW Bogut and Festus Ezeli were never fully healthy. I was surprised Cavs went after him. While Festus had knee ending surgery yesterday.
Cavs were feeling the pressure. And a bigman with some inside offense helps Lebron a lot. For some reason, Cavs big men with like to camp and shoot 3s lol
sapiosexual1: All these hitherto unknown Cavs fans who seem to have suddenly found their voice because KD got injured, watching you in 3D. Deep down y'all are praying to ur gods that LeBron doesn't pick up an injury coz y'all know that the Cavs are an injury to LeBron from being a very mediocre team. Besides, the playoffs is an entirely different ball game. No one goes to the playoffs to get James' autograph.
let me reiterate for all you warriors fans that cant leave cavs alone, even in your sleep. You might want to stop counting your chickens before they hatch...you have enough to worry about in the West. Spurs and Rockets were already big issues for you even before Durant loss. Even if Durant comes back in time, you have a thin bench. At least escape WCF first
btw the road is not for straightfoward for cavs either. raptors and wizards are gon be ready. celtics...too young imo.
onatisi: In compression everything shrinks and what it means is that the economy is getting smaller and smaller,if there is a recession and companies still stay afloat then that is still manageable. But when 45 out of 60 companies in a place close down, that means, less ppl at work, less money in the economy. I maybe wrong though
yah thats what i thought too. tons of little companies, and some big international ones just gave up and quit. frustrating
Manutd19: Durant out or not, no team should be able to compete with the Cavs in a 7 game series if fits. Warriors should be worried. It's now hard for other stars to lay their hand on a ring for two years at least. Looking at the Cavs roaster, I see no way they lose a playoff series to any team right now.
lakers had kobe, shaq, gary payton and karl malone and still lost to the pistons. its a team game..dwill and bogut are too old to have major impact at this stage of their career. D will is a stronger more defensive minded PG than kyrie so he definitely helps. Bogut just might workout too...cavs love big bodies
he is saying we are in worse than a recession. i have no idea what that means, but it cant mean deflation..prices are skyrocketing. i do know businesses are dying deaths of a thousand cuts. maybe thats what he means. in any case someone change the title..its misleading
and you have seen groupthink withstand all the tortures, murders and mayhem I mentioned to you earlier - for a span of 300 years, starting from the apostles until Constantine. Please provide such evidence of groupthink being this powerful. I am very interested.
Roland17: My goodness!!! Uncle Drew has got the sickest handle.
floated like forever..his feet almost touched the ground before he released the ball. good game to watch. win has to feel good for celtics. cavs will probably brush this one off and say team is trying to gel with new cast
SmooshCHN: 8 years isn't enough? I played Bball today and left my team to join another team cos they kept playing like they came to talk and I kept sitting in the cold to wait for the next set.. I wanted to win.. I joined another team, I played and kept winning.. How is that a problem? you self go do am.. The dude said plainly he wanted to Win. LeBron wanted to win.. Would it have made it better if Warriors swept OKC last season and he joined Warriors??
I have no problems with that. Like i said, its personal for me. Just like I didnt mind lebrons move to miami but i hated the way it was done. Maybe its just me but down low stuff rubs me the wrong way
SmooshCHN: And how's that funny? Or you're one of those who believes the East is as easy as the West?
I think you meant west is as easy as the east. West generally has faster paced teams. East is more of a grind. In todays nba, the rules favor the west much more, so yes i agree that the west is a harder conference with all the fast paced teams. Still I think the top 4 in the east match well against the top 4 in the west.
SmooshCHN: You see life?? When Warriors lose, they say Curry only shoot 3s, Green has no skills, Zaza and McGee are useless and Klay is the only one trying. When all star comes, they say Green shouldn't be an All Star, Klay is just a catch and shoot player and Curry just has a lot of bandwagons.. But when we win, The next gist is "how won't they win when they've got 4 all Stars?" And expect us to sweep Houston.. If my time in medical school never be waste, KD will be back during the playoffs most definitely maybe Western Conference finals of we make it.. Until then, We can only hope other teams don't lose key players. No sane person here was happy 2014-15 when Kyrie and Love were out.
But warriors fans are not sane o. They were very happy when love and kyrie were out lol. I personally have not been able to forget the douchebag way Durant left OKC. I find it hard to hate on any player for long, but i believe durant will the first. Sneaky alley cat
lolawilliams: I heard he suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks but there is no timetable of his return. Lets see how Green would step up and play like Paul Pierce in his prime now that KD is injured
Bwahahaha...you know it will be very funny if warriors dont win WCF. The bench is thinner and niw wjth no Durant, Spurs, Rockets and even Clippers have to like their chances.
onetrack: Atheist here. Also I have a history background (university).
Jesus was one of several people in the early 1st century who claimed to be the Messiah--a god-sent individual who would rescue the Jews from the Romans and re-establish the kingdom of Israel. Cyrus the Persian 5 centuries earlier had liberated the Hebrews from Babylonian captivity and was honored with the title of Messiah as well.
All of the self-proclaimed Messiahs of the 1st century met violent deaths, including Jesus, before they had the chance to drive the Romans out of Judea, a difficult prospect given the awesome power of the Romans at that time period.
Jesus' disciples then had to face the reality that he was not the Messiah because he had simply been executed by the Romans without much fanfare. This resulted in cognitive dissonance: they could either admit that they had been following a faker, or reinvent the story of the Messiah. It appears that some of them chose the second option, which led to the creation of Christianity.
You see, the early Christians simply changed the interpretation of what the Messiah would do. Instead of bringing about the kingdom of Israel on earth, his kingdom was actually not of this earth, and it was actually through his death that people would enter the heavenly kingdom of Israel. So instead of Jesus' death being the sign of just another failed Messiah, his death actually became the proof for his followers that he was the Messiah. Neat how they did that, isn't it?
In order to convince pagans to accept the new religion, the early Christians had to add some miracles to Jesus' life (virgin birth, resurrection, etc), and also they had to make him vaguely god-like (Trinity), all of which was easily done in the days without video recorders.
Voila! Christianity's origins.
what kind of cognitive dissonance makes disciples get martyred for a lie? Some crucified, others boiled in hot oil, some skinned alive, others fed to lions. For a made up story? lol ok.
angelusbrut: u dey mind them.that place self resemble one bridge for my villa. USA self
republican dominated states with low taxes...they try to spend as little govt money as possible. There are a dozen or so such states, where they wont put simple safety equipment until a few people have died and it becomes painfully obvious such is needed. you would think some of these voters would wise up and realize those "low" taxes can become very costly! smh
