Read your Bible sir. The incident I was referring to happened after Paul's conversion. He was defending himself before the High Priest who asked that he (Paul) should be smitten for s statement he made. Paul replied that God will smite him calling him a whited wall. Someone around reminded Paul that it was the High Priest he was addressing like that. Paul subsequently apologized (Acts 23:1-5). This is an aspect of restitution. Others include apologising for lies told against a person and making redress etc. Restitutions are not only for sins committed when we were not saved. Even after we are saved, we make restitutions eg for lies told (may be under pressure) or to those we misrepresented.

You are wrong sir. Restitution is not a way of obtainining righteousness through the law. Rather, it is a way of clearing ones conscience after one is born again. Paul apologized to the high priest he reviled which is part of restitution. Restitution includes returning stolen property in one's possession, separating from second wife or from being a second wife or third wife, apologising to those whose relatives were kiled during robbery or assasination etc. Some restitutions are very sensitive and as such require prayers and the grace of God.

Is it not the same thing that you'll keep repeating over and over just to prolong the prayer? Is your God so deaf that you need to repeat things over and over before he hears you? Is your God so ignorant that you need to explain all your problems in details before he understand?
For the sake of not derailing this thread, I'll spare you all I had to say about this. But bring this up again another day or in another thread and mention me, then I'll give Bible passages about prayers and proof to you that people like you who 'prays for hours' are actually the lazy Christians.

Moses received so many instructions from God at so many instances. He didn't have to fast at any instance before hearing from God. If you think he did, give me the Bible portion.
The problem I have here is that Many people came here to argue based on what they think and based on what they see as the general norm in our society but not based on the word of God.

The World Bank monitors how the money will be spent. Back in 2006 the government collected $225 million loan from World bank and part of it has been paid back.

The fact is that this amount of money we are talking about; this $225 million was not an Oshiomhole’s assessment, it was not even the ministry of finance assessment or the ministry of works in Edo state. It was an assessment of the World Bank experts. They came, they supervised some infrastructural challenges in the state and they assessed it at $225 million, then in their wisdom, to make sure that; the money is not diverted or used wrongly, they now compartmentalise the money into three sectors. First tranche, they were satisfied at the performance of this one including the pay back plan because it is a loan, even though it is almost interest free, it is still a loan that we have to pay back, and it is from the day of giving you the first tranche that the payback schedule is launched so that if the Edo state government had not been faithful in returning what part of it that the world bank had designated for this Period since 2006; they would not of course approve this second tranche. Again if they had not done faithfully the project that the money was meant for, they would not have approved the second tranche.


As for the recent loan, the government is yet to receive the $75m from the World Bank so relax. It all depends on how the first ones were spent that will determine if it will be released.
