A member of the National Youth Service Corps Mr. Ugwu,Chinweoke methodius Currently serving in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike MOUAU has given succour to some Nigerian Students who had challenges paying their school charges.

The philanthropist gave out cash gift of ₦10,000 each to 8 Student's and ₦30,000 to another Student
The corper,while addressing the students made them to understand that he's not giving to them because he has plenty but because he has seen the level of pains student's pass through just to pay their school charges haven been in that situation during his University days,he added that the burden has been on him since to assist indigent Students hence his decision to Chanel the Monthly stipends he recieve as a Serving Corper to charity and humanitarian service.

The SUG President Hon Comr Chukwuma Ogochukwu who facilitated this empowerment thanked the 'Corper' for his act of generosity and also encouraged the students by singlehandedly paying their Union dues and subsequently giving them scratch cards for their course registrations Free.

While giving the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the Students Union Government,the Image Maker and Mouth Piece of the Union,Rotr Comr Chijioke Emmanuel (Director Of Information/Public Relations) advised the students to make good use of the money in completing their school charges and proceeding to make payments immediately to avoid stories.

He thanked the Philanthropist for his benevolent and kind gesture towards the Nigerian Students and prayed for God's blessings upon him, he also encouraged him not to relent in putting smiles on the faces of people despite the challenges that may come his way.

I will make it very brief. Please I need your advice.
I've been a nairalander since 2016 but this is my first official post.

My father is a good, noble and humble man. A successful business man. He's very proud of us (his children), we're also proud of him. We're 3. I'm 29 years of age, the eldest and only son. He make sure we don't lack anything. We all went to one of the prestigious Private University in Nigeria. I and my immediate baby sis are graduate, while last born still in 300l.

The problem is that, my father don't know how to dress, he prefer to wear faded and worn out clothes. My dad drive highlander 2014 model. If my Dad comes down from his car, you will think he's a driver to an imaginary Boss because of the way he dressed.
Blessed memories of my beloved mom May her soul R.I.P. She was always complaining and sometimes my Dad won't listen to her.

I'm a good fashion designer, my love for fashion is topnotch. I also own a laundry store and a barbing store. I've been privileged to sew some clothes for comedian Buchi which he loves so much and he promised to patronize me again.

GOD in heaven knows how many lovely, mature and soft dress I've sew and bought for my father with my money. He only wears it once and won't wear it again, there are some he haven't put on at all. He celebrated his birthday August, I bought this nice shirt 18k for him as a gift. Till today he hasn't put it on.

Please note: money is not his problem. The other day he stopped by at my store, I and my boys were working. He noticed nobody was using one of my industrial machines. He asked and I said it was faulty. He said how much? I said 170k but I'll change it soon before January....(because I just wrapped my car from corolla to ES Lexus)....Before I could say Jack... Baba don send me 200k. I ordered the machine instantly.

See what happened this morning, He got an invitation to attend a meeting. The smartest way to dress for a highly regarded man like him is native wear.
So he gave me this faded black trouser turning white to brush for him, that he wanted to wear it for the meeting...See eh, It was so annoying. I went to his room gathered the nice, starched and ironed native I could gather and I told him to select one, that I won't brush that faded trouser. He started saying ... " I'm proving stubborn and all manner things"... I'm sure our tenants could hear our argument.

Please Nairalanders. What can I do to make my Dad dress well. I plan to set fire on those faded and worn out clothes but it will look so disrespectful. I'm sure his friends have accepted his mode of dressing.
My siblings and I are tired of complaining.

Our attention was drawn to a suit filed against the mentioned person In the Magistrate court of Lagos state, In the Lagos magisterial district, Holden at Yaba, with charge number- Y/A/ES/7/2020 and we wish to state as follows.

I want to notify the general public that,

1. Divine Stanley Iheanyichukwu is a responsible student with unquestionable character, dedicated to duty and law abiding.

2. Divine Stanley Iheanyichukwu has never been invloved in any violent exercise within and outside the school.

3. The charges raised against Divine Stanley Iheanyichukwu defies the principle of good conscience as he has never exhibited any attribute of violence or arson.

4. As law abiding citizens and responsible Nigerian students, we stand boldly to say that Divine Stanley Iheanyichukwu is innocent and that there is a misconception about his personality that calls for urgent reconsideration.



I plead with Barr. mine was when I was really really young. my maternal grand dad visited . he brought me a battery powered toy car with a remote control that made the car move just two ways(back and forth). after some hours of playing with my new toy, I became disenchanted with it and I purposely started ramming it against a wall. my mom looked over at me from where she was discussing with my grand dad . and she said in Igbo, mebikwa ya o i nugo? (make sure you spoil it o have you heard?). I just replied excitedly "ok" and went on to sit with my full weight on the car until it fell apart.� apparently I had no sense of sarcasm . my mom just de look me in astonishment, maybe she go de reason "what manner of idiot did I give birth to?". my grand dad was just laughing.

2020/2021 DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION SCREENING APPLICATION GUIDELINES.

Eligibility: All candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2020/2021 UTME examinations and made Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike their first choice are eligible.
Candidates who want to change into any of the programmes of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike should immediately apply through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) of JAMB. Interested candidates for MICROBIOLOGY are informed that the programme now has full accreditation by National Universities Commission (NUC).

REQUIREMENTS: Beginning from 7th September 2020, candidates are required to register online for the admission screening exercise. To register, candidates must proceed as follows:

1. Candidates are to visit the University Website at www.mouau.edu.ng
2. Click on the 2020/2021 Admission Screening banner.
3. Enter a valid email address for record purposes.
4. Input JAMB Registration number. This leads you to the Remita payment platform where an RRR number is generated with which payment of two thousand naira (N2000.00) will be made. Payment can be made by debit/credit card or by taking your RRR number to any bank nationwide and deposit cash. Return to the Website to continue your registration.
5. NOTE: Transaction charges apply (P.S: If you encounter any challenge after payment, kindly send an email to the University Portal Office at support@mouau.edu.ng
6. Register by filling an online Application form and selecting proposed Department and other requisite details.
7. Candidates are required to input their O’Level qualifying details for WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results obtained in not more than two sittings, Type of Exam, Year of Result, Scratch card details (PIN and Serial Number on the card) as well as upload any results submitted for screening to their JAMB profiles on JAMB CAPS to qualify for admission Note: The upload of O’level results to JAMB CAPS must be done in JAMB CBT accredited centres.
8. Fetch result from examining body (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
9. Confirm that the WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result fetched is correct before submission of form.
