Made same mistake with mine, had to go back and change to school address as advised by a specialist. Cost another 8.5k.

Good Day Everyone, I have paid £1000 in a university but I got another offer in another university and I have made deposit payment in this new uni and received my CAS.
My question is, please can someone tell me a valid reason to state to the university I won’t be attending again to apply for my £1000 deposit?
I need reasons that are obtainable that won’t seem flimsy and lead to denial of my refund.
Please I will appreciate your responses as I need the £1000 for other bills.

You stand the chance of losing that money. Did you look at their refund policy before making deposit to another school? Most schools give 14days after deposit payment, after that, only visa refusal can make them give a refund. Next time wait till you hear from all the schools you applied before making payment. Could you give an example of responses that are not generic?

You must have your peculiar reason for choosing the course. Example, school A has better modules than school B. Those kind of answers. Not generic answers regarding employability and stuff.

Check the documents you're uploading. Make sure they're in the correct format, pdf that is and with moderate size. If it's too large and your internet connection keeps timing out, it won't upload anything. Also try a different browser.

I think you might have ran out of time,you are supposed to upload and submit all documents 24hrs before your appointment.
As others have proposed ,you will have to go with your entire documents and pay for assisted service tomorrow.

If that's what you used to secure admission, then that's what you should present. Check your CAS, it's stated there. I used result notification/ statement too.

So I'm filling my visa forms at the moment, and I was told that there is a place I'm to input my schools code for the picking up of the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).

I have finished filling the form and didn't see the place for it.

Is it when I am directed to the TLS website that I would see the space to fill that in?

Cross check your form, you must find it. Once you move to TLS stage, you won't be able to correct it. After IHS payment.

If it is gtb, you should be able to download a receipt once transfer is complete. That's what I printed from my phone.

You'll be redirected to tls website once u finish paying your ihs and visa fees on uk.gov website.

Should I get the TB test first before I apply for a visa or should I just apply directly for a visa.

Book your appointment first, and sort the TB test out before your appointment date.

Hey people.

I got my cas Monday evening, completed my application and booked appointment by Tuesday afternoon. Your best bet is to pay IHS from Uk if u have anyone who can help, then u pay visa fee with your card. Mine went smoothly I must say. I also got an earlier appointment date. Lucky me.
