Good evening mamas, pls anyone who has done laparoscopy before in lagos should help me with information. I was asked to do it but don't know where to do it. The gynae I called said 650k. That's too high for me right now. Kindly help . Thank you.

You can do it at Lagos Island Maternity, you'll just have to be going early in order to get appointments and a fixed date but it's not that bad. And it might not be more than 100k

Yes please, get a second opinion at another hospital. Check out Euracare hospital too. They do uterine artery embolization. The one Nordica does is HIFU, High Intensity Fibroid...

Congratulations to all our BFP Mama's.

Sisters, please I need your input in this, so I did TVS just to be sure what's going on and also preventing our BFP. Even though we couldn't BD on ovulation day and the day after, but we BD 2 days before ovulation, and I learnt that sperm stays in the cervix for 3-5 days. So I thought God will use that to bless us. But AF showed again. Which prompted me to go for TVS. And the result showed

1- posterior Vaginal fornix cyst(Gartner duct cyst) ( never heard of such in my life)
2-Adenomyosis (just imagine what is going on in my body)
3-1cm subserosal Fibroid( Im just wondering where this one came from again. What cussed this for goodness sake. All the ultrasound I did never showed this. What could cause these for goodness sake. Is it Letrozole and fsh inj I took?

I saw my gynea and he said nothing can be done about the adenomyosis, I shouldn't worry about the fibroid since it's tiny (ofcouse I'm so worried as I heard that it grows. I want to get rid of it if there's any natural way to do that). And then he suggested Lap for the vaginal cyst(said 700k) for the laproscopy. I don't even have that kind of money, not even thinking about it.

Please is there anyone here that has experienced any of this? What can I do please. I'm sorry each time I comment here, it's always bad news. I pray one day I will come back here with good news. #Sobs#

In addition to the castor oil pack, use Serrapeptase and Natokinase too, I think it works for adhesions and cysts. https://community.babycenter.com/post/a52225480/does_serrapeptase_help_adenomyosis

Bosjack:
Dear Sirs/Mas,
Kindly advise especially if you have experience as regards this.
We have been TTC for about 7 years and my had done HSG about 6 years ago where it was revealed one tube was blocked. Nothing has happened after doing everything humanly possible. Recently, we met a Dr that has us to undergo some test including HSG. I initially told her that I had vowed never to allow my wife go through that process again since she insisted it has to be done to aid her investigation and treatment, we had to do it. The result shows both tubes are blocked and we can only go for IVF. The main issue is that since about 10 days that my wife did the HSG, she has been having serious and intense itching inside her private part. Some drugs were actually prescribed for her to take after the HSG to prevent infection, she has completed the drugs but the itching has persisted. I dont think this is normal. so i will like to know if anyone has had that experience and what can be done to stop it. Thank you

She should go for HVS to know the exact infection and use the appropriate med for it

I need advice from fellow members please

My profile
Tvs reveals multiple follicles and 2cysts was placed on contraceptives for 3months to stop the growth

The cysts reduced in the 1st month and increased in the 3rd month

Now I'm recommended for cyst drilling (laparoscopy)
I'm seeking your opinion please
Is this the best option for me?

Try using Serrapeptase and/or Chinese teas- Yi mu cao and Xi Xian cao first. Lots of positive reviews online.

Hello, I came across this forum recently. I’m married for 3yrs now and I’m unable to conceive at all. I have done so many test my my prolactin was showing 6.38 which I think is normal but if I press my breast yellow milk do come out. I was then diagnosed of pcos because my period is always irregular. I was place on inositol and letrozole 2.5mg and was giving dostinex 0.5mg for the breast lactation till now milk still coming out if I squeeze my breast despite using the drug o .I followed up my cycle with pelvic scan to be sure if I’m ovulating but despite using letrozole they still cannot see an egg that grow well to be fertilized. Two things now is not making me to ovulate the breast milk and pcos.. I just tire. All I just need is to ovulate please anything else I can use somebody is depressed here

When in your cycle did you do the scan? Sometimes the time of ovulation might not be when you think. It depends on the average length of your cycles..
You can try seed cycling to regulate your cycle too.

Dr Olabode Taofeek.

He also works as a Consultant in LUTH. God is with him but you must also do your part, pray, stay positive and declare positive affirmations, get rid of fear, find things to distract you and keep you happy throughout the IVF Cycle, cleanse, eat right (Stay away from junk and Artificial Sweeteners or Drinks and foods (eg Zero Coke, Xylitol Gum) made with them. Artificial Sweeteners kills embryos and follow instructions from the hospital on Do's and Don'ts

Also follow rules on Dos and Don'ts after Embryo transfer.

I agree, Dr Olabode is very good and empathetic

Hello fruitful mothers, may God answer us speedily. After trying for 10 cycles with no result, even while taking all necessary prenatal vitamins, plus m2tone, I also tried evergreen formula, still no success. I decided to do test pelvic scan, tvs, hormonal profile test and hsg. The commas in the result that I am not comfortable with is 1 tv's showed a 1.8cm fibroid, hag showed patent tubes and pelvic adhesion, and hormonal profile showed hyperprolactemia. The tvs I did and the pelvic scans both on cycle day 20 of two different cycles showed that I had dominant follicles on both ovaries which signalled something wrong cos I have a 24/25 day cycle. That and milk coming out of my boobs when squeezed prompted me to do hormonal profile. So i have been placed on cabergoline after a month I will repeat prolactin test. I am also taking herbs to boost ovulation, going for fertility massage (hoping it will take care of the adhesions). Then I have chanded my vitamins to fertilovit instead of pregnacare conception. Hoping to announce my bfp soon. Wish me luck ladies.

Hi sis. You can add Serrapeptase to what you are taking. Heard it helps with adhesions

Hi mommas, may we carry our babies soon, aameen. Bolasad hospital is a very good ivf and iui hospital in Lagos. They started ivf last year and they have gotten at least 50% success rate. The doctor, Dr. Olabode is a very empathetic man and he'll follow up with you personally. He would even call you if you are running late for your appointment with him. He's also very experienced, he's a consultant gynecologist at hospital, surulere. The price is not high and the icsi option is available too. Hello Everyone, pls i tried jvf 2 months ago , used birth control for several weeks , then i used burselin and menopur injection , but couldnt continue bcus i reacted to the injections terribly

Pls i want to start another cycle ,scared of everything ,which injection do people use without terrible reactions

Help ,i need suggestions

Was it after the HSG injections that you had the reactions? Maybe it was OHSS. I also had severe OHSS after my first IVF cycle, fluid in the lungs and stomach. There's another protocol- antagonist protocol that decreases the chances of OHSS. You would use a different set of drugs and the success rates are similar. But most centres do not use it because the drugs might be more expensive and they don't have experience with it. If you are in Lagos, I can recommend a clinic that will take into consideration your past experience with the Buserelin and menopur injections. They can do the Antagonist protocol for you at the price some clinics do the Agonist protocol.

Thanks Sis. How much would I need to pay after positive result (by God's grace) for the medication? Would it be in addition to the #600,000 initially paid?
