But why do Igbos always bear tongue twisting names like: onyinyechi, chikembichichi, onyekachubachi, oguchichukwudubisi, Nemchukwudinma, Ekenechukwudili, Oguokwasichukwu etc.? (no pun intended).

Ain't no ni.gga trying to pronounce all that! undecided

Romance / Reasons Why White Women Will Always Be More Attractive Than Black Women by bittyend(m): 11:30am On Apr 10, 2013
Don't crucify me, just hear me out.

- White women are natural with their looks while black women try so hard to imitate them.
- Black women are the least desired women out there. Any other race of men can get a black woman with the snap of their fingers, it's just that easy.
- White women are natural in their views, while black women are frauds. They try too hard to be white.
- White women are freaks in bed while black women have to be the most sexually boring women out there.
- White women are everyone's trophy/prize. The same can't be said about black women.

I still love my black women and I just finished smashing one. I'm just keeping it real. It's a new dawn and I've promised to be as real as I can be this year. Honesty is the best policy. cool

I'm pissed off right now. Truth be told, ghetto raised most of the greatest people this world has ever seen. Why create threads to critique ghetto people and their way of life? It's like kicking people who are down and the fact that most of you aren't better off is the most painful thing about this illogical diatribe against these beautiful disadvantaged people who are going against all odds to survive. It's high time we left ghetto people alone, you don't have to talk to them.

Just because I'm a ghetto child
I won't live down to your expectations
Just believe that a ghetto child
Can rise in the highest celebration
Know that I am a ghetto child
But I can see the best in me, can you?
I'm a ghetto child

我很生气, 现在. 说实话, 贫民窟提出这个世界上见过的最伟大的人. 为什么创建线程批评贫民窟的人, 他们的生活方式吗?这就像踢下降的事实, 大多数人都没有更好的人是最痛苦的事情,这不合逻辑的谩骂反对这些美丽的会不顾一切生存的弱势群体. 这是我们离开的时候贫民窟的人的孤单, 你没有跟他们谈.

Culture / Why Do African Parents Have A Problem With Smoking Weed?? by bittyend(m): 12:13pm On Apr 01, 2013
I'm not advocating weed/zoobie/ganjar smoking, but I honestly don't see why most of our African parents have a problem with it.I'm an ex-weed head and there's absolutely nothing wrong with smoking weed. Everything just depends on the space you're in and your level of consciousness. Smoking weed puts user/smoker in a different and spiritual state of mind and it makes him/her visualise things a normal person can't see nor sense. It's not even a secret anymore that most of the geniuses that walked this planet are/were weed-heads.

Personally, I stopped smoking weed like 2 years ago because of addiction and the space I'm in right now. But I can dey the fact that the use of weed influenced some of the genius-esque traits I exhibited back when I was still smoker.

So next time you see someone smoking weed, just ask for 'puff puff pass'.

You posted this:

And this one below which I can't even piece together:

I am just advising you. No offense. Back to topic.

So basically because I misspelled 'wrote' as 'write' you went on a tirade about my use of English, when you actually don't understand the basics of the language. You don't even know how to use punctuation marks; you can't spell for shiit; and your sentence construction is one of the worst I have seen on this forum. You write like a typical Nigerian who writes the way he/she speaks with an accent.

You're not on my level!!

thelastPope: After reading the book, There was a country, I couldnt find anywhere Chinua Achebe insulted the Yorubas as alleged. So please can anyone explain where he insulted the Yorubas?

His account of Awo's involvement in the civil war did not contain anything like insult or ridicule of the Yorubas. It didnt also contain any thing that could make one call Achebe a bigot. Awo made both good and bad decisions in his time as minister. Anyone can comment on those decisions. how does that translate into insulting the Yorubas? It was simply his account of the war which can be debated and someone could come out to fault with better argument. He had a right to his opinions. But I am concerned that after so much shout on this forum, one would have thought he actually insulted the Yorubas, but he didnt.

Or maybe there is another version of the book that I am not aware of.

Just imagine someone who wrote this trying to critique my use of English. My little sister don't even write like this and she's still in secondary school. Is this Nigerian English or what?

After reading the book, There was a country, I couldnt find anywhere Chinua Achebe insulted the Yorubas as alleged. So please can anyone explain where he insulted the Yorubas?

^Who cites other people's works without a quote? This guy didn't even quote the title of Achebe's book. cheesy

Dear bittyend, I am not really concerned about your spelling and even punctuations. When people discuss on a public forum, they can make a lot of typing and spelling mistakes. That is expected. What shouldn't happen though is that they should not use the wrong tenses or construct. That is why I called you out.

Your English, right from your first post is pathetic. You should edit your posts.

That being said, back to topic. You still haven't shown where Yorubas were insulted in Achebe's book, "There was a country". Please show us or forever hold your peace.

Point out where I used the wrong tenses. cheesy cheesy

Stop trying to justify your inability to use punctuation marks and your ridiculous spelling skills. Perhaps you thought I was one of those clowns you could hoodwink by referencing your not-so-great use of English, no? I'm way above your league. I don't even proof read everything I post on here, but I still write better English than you, even on my worst day.

You're worse than a clown. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Bwahaahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Are you a comedian?

So being able to pronounce 2 words suddenly makes you a master of the English language? Even this last statement is catastrophic! Good English is about proper grammer and tenses and proper use of words. The average briton can't even speak good English. They mostly speak vernacular.

The following phrase from you is an example of terrible construction of sentences "Imagine this low IQ having ape from naija"

That's rich, coming someone who's obviously allergic to using punctuation marks. You're still a learner. cheesy cheesy

And what is 'grammer', by the way? Grammar is the right spelling. cheesy cheesy cheesy
