Frontline PDP Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Bukola Saraki unveiled a policy document for his first four years in office over the weekend.

Dr Saraki, whose campaign theme is #FixNigeria released a 53-page detailed plan titled “My Social Contract with Nigerians”. In it, he focused on the 5 pillars of growth. Economy, the Rule of Law, Fiscal Federalism, Security and National Planning.

On the Economy, he plans to tackle sky rocket inflation rate, achieve exchange rate stability by moving to a market determined single rate regime, de-link Nigeria’s revenue base from Oil dependency, Fuel subsidy removal and increase the tax base.

According to the document, Youth unemployment, a big problem for the Nigerian economy will be tackled by creating a great environment for local businesses, investing heavily in infrastructure, creating priority industries with immediate focus for investments.

On Security, the document plans to invest highly in the Federal Police while allowing states to Also Police themselves, improve the capacity of the Nigerian army for a multi thronged approach in the war against terrorism, with more focus on effective, incisive targeted surgical strikes.

The document rounds up with a detailed plan for Restructuring, Judicial reforms and improving the rule of law to make Nigeria a sustainable, peaceful democracy and other plans for National planning and good Governance.

Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has averred that insulting Prophet Mohammed is every Muslim’s uncompromising redlines that must not be crossed.

Taking to his official Twitter page on Saturday, May 14, the politician stated that no Muslim will ever take it lightly with anyone who insults the Prophet.

According to him, every Muslim respects Jesus Christ and the same respect should be accorded to the Prophet. He went on to advise everyone to respect this boundary and avoid saying condescending things about the Prophet.

His tweet seems like a reaction to the murder of a female Christian student of a College of Education in Sokoto state, who was beaten to death and burnt over allegations of blasphemy.

The controversial politician tweeted,

“There is no Muslim that don’t respect the sanctity and the divinity of Jesus Christ. And certainly, there is no Muslim that will ever tolerate denigrating our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).

Insulting him is our uncompromising REDLINE. Respect our sensibilities and avoid it.”

A while ago, Adamu Garba took down the APC flag in his office.

This comes days after he was unable to secure enough funds to purchase the N100 million presidential nomination and declaration of interest form of the party.

That's the only reservation i have about a Tinubu presidency, cus i know he would want to run with a core Northern Muslim.

I'm a Christian like you, but but I want to ask these questions. What were Obasanjo and Jonathan, as Christian president able to do for Christians and Christianity during their rules? And What special advantages did Christians enjoy? And Were those cursed Muslims not killing Christians? Scroll up. Was it not during Jonathan's reign that his government made the move to start to tax Churches, if not for Buhari that came in and muted the idea? Osinbajo as the vp, what has been able to do to stop or stem the killing of Christians allover the nation? During Jonathan era, Baba Ayo Oritshajefor was the chairman of pfn. He was practically living in Aso Rock,, pursuing his own business using his aircraft to ferry cargoes for Jonathan government? Remember how his aeroplane was caught in South Africa with military cargo in it, was seized by South African aothorities? Remember also how Osinbajo, a Southern and Christian vp, was the one trying force Ruga on the South for the North? What we Christians should resolve and be determined to do is always to vehemently and boisterously pursue, fight and defend our rights, always, no matter who is the president. Hausa and the Muslims don't care who is the president. They boldly and boisterously demand wrong rights and get with them. Are you not surprised that neither CAN nor PFN has made any strong representation to Buhari to demand for quick justice over the death of Deborah Samuel. Is Osinbajo not positioned to organise access to Buhari's presence for them ? Then, is there any general Christian body or movement to foster this?
