obowo69:Exactly |
obowo69:I am not saying that they should be coerced to form a confederate state with us but I am making reference to our only true allies in this jungle. They are better than the so called Igbo brothers across the Niger. They have been our ally through thick and thin right from the days of Arọ confederacy till now, they have never disappointed us. So if there is a chance that we need another ethnicity to form a confederate state with again, all my votes will go to the good people of ibibio over any confused Igbo |
Kudos to which Buhari? Did Buhari create River Niger? Did Buhari construct the port? Please no Nigerian whatever deserves thanks for allowing us to use what is rightfully ours |
obowo69:That is the version of Biafra I dislike, I am fully in for a full Igbo state ( Igbo bụ Igbo) with the name Alaigbo excluding ikwerre and the confused people of Delta State else we will inherit Nigeria confusion and stand chance of being denied, sabotaged and insulted like in the late 60s. But if there should be need to include another ethnic group, it should be our old and trusted ally ibibio and some ethnicities from Akwa - Cross and they must have their own state while the Biafra will be run as a confederacy |
Nigerians should wear it as a badge of honour. Their dubious ways have gained international recognition |
SLAP44:That is why I say that, though I don't key into Nnamdi Kanu's ideology (especially the Jewish ancestry part) and version of Biafra , the young man's commitment to the welfare of Ndigbo and our current renaissance cannot be overemphasized |
obowo69:Hate and envy is free. They can keep on hating while we keep on winning. |
Igbo Amaka! They say destiny can only be delayed but can never be changed. You can only delay Ndigbo from using the River Niger port that God has given to them but you can never dry up the river, move it away, wish it away or make it to stop flowing. For those that will be here to hail Buhari please answer this question, did Buhari create River Niger? |
chamboy:They lack organization and they were able to fight the colonialists for 28 years ( a feat no black race came close to or dared). They lack organization and they were able to have a system of government known as "ụmụnna" which was more complex than the Greco-Roman parliament system and made controlling them extremely difficult for the colonialists. They lack organization and their women were able to organize "ABA women's riot" which is an inspiration for modern day feminism. They lack organization and they were able to withstand Nigeria, UAR and their alies (Isreal and Britain included) for 3 solid years. They lack organization and they are able to turn parts of all major markets in Nigeria to igboland, to the extent that it appears as if one person owns the entire shops. They lack organization and their forum "ọhaneze Ndigbo" makes more news and commands more respect than any Nigerian ethnic forum. They lack organization but when you hear the name "Igbo" you will never see only one person but multitude. My brother, "Igbo dị omimi" - "Igbo is mysterious", we are not like you average black men that is why our ways are confusing for you people. While average black men count their ancient greatness in number of kings they had, the Igbo man see it as oppression for one person to rule all. Dont allow ignorance to control you, if you want to know how United Ndigbo are, come to Onitsha or any city in South East and speak English. |
NGpatriot:Wow, this Anambra picture looks like Venice. Maybe we should find a way to sustain the flood and control it so as to establish a wealthy looking environment like Venice which can also serve as tourist attraction

These people sha, I read through the post again after seeing accusing fingers on innocent Ndigbo to check whether one of the culprits is one to no avail. Well I think it's high time we started checking these people's certificates (Yemi Osibanjo and Femi falana included) because there is no way the people I saw there can afford tertiary education. |
I like this girl. She came to see things for herself, to check whether all these development stories she has been hearing about Ebonyi is true or not. Something most demented tribalistic nincompoops here that only know their immediate surrounding not their entire village and keep on howling on nairaland cannot do. Travel and see. It is a crime against humanity to live all your life knowing just two places (your house in Lagos and lagos) |
Okwyjesus:Of course, you can Google it. The indigenes are still ashamed of it till date |
tsdarkside:Kitikpa gbarie gị anya there, anụ mpama |
Taah Igbo Amaka there! |
Iyoocartel:You sound like jeriq, abi na your boyfriend? I never knew rap talent can be sexually transmitted. It's like the youths are already taking their destiny in their hands. Meanwhile I found this hilarious but truthful pix below

Seerade029:I won't argue with you on the yoruba towns you'll meet before Ilorin. Infact those towns are more yoruba than most of the yoruba towns I've met but the Ilorin own is quite different and peculiar based on the influx and establishment of the fulanis who are permanent residents of that place |
Seerade029:Unless you want to share your new country with more than 100 fulani settlements. If you have been to Ilorin and Kwara you will know this, and based on international law you can't displace a group of people that have continously stayed in one particular location for more than a century. Besides I don't think the citizens of ilorin will fancy being lumped in the new Oduduwa Republic |
VEXT:If you want to know the cause, go and read about how Igbos were identified and killed in the North by hausas. Prior to 1967, no ethnic group in Africa knows unity like the Igbos, but right now what the Igbos use is defence mechanism to avoid what happened in the 60s to repeat itself. It is important to note that their new found unity is as a result of collective antagonism of Ndigbo. For the northerner to put his relative in a political position is not for the sake of love but to make sure that space doesn't go to the Igbos, go see a northern private establishment and you'll realize that most people in sensitive positions are igbos and yorubas because if things goes awry he will feel the heat direct but the case of national appointment is just there for nothing sake that is why naija is not moving forward. Once Ndigbo leaves Nigeria you'll see their real "love". The colonialists said that they met 13 warring emirs in the North and walked uninterruptedly to the sultan because of their disunity |
Yujin:Who forced the war on you people? Is it your brother Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu from ọkpanam that killed sir ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa? Or Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu that tried to rescue the real Igbos race by breaking away as a result of the reprisal killings in the North caused by the dehumanizing way their sarduana sir Ahmadu Bello was killed by your brother Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu? Please, I will like to see your answer |
VEXT:There is no homogeneous country (>70%) that is backward, check the likes of Switzerland, Japan, Russia, Singapore and so on. The love will come by force when the politician is an in-law and the security personnel is your best friends brother and you know the family house of you LG chairman. Why the love no go dey by force, by then when the state of affairs goes awry we will know in front whose family house we will protest |
Biafrannuke:I believe you are speaking from your experience of worshipping your fellow man (Nnamdi Kanu) |
Yujin:Please go back and read my post again and ask yourself whether this your response was in line with it. My brother I am not against freedom, after all Ndigbo were never part of Nigeria to begin with (check the name of the 6 signatories for the formation of Nigeria in 1914) what I am against is one sided story to fool the masses by the shameless people of asaba. If they want to write about the asaba massacre, they should and must include the part where they wore white to dance and celebrate the Nigerian forces for liberating them from Ndigbo and tried to convince the general that they were not igbos before the general ordered for the execution of all the male dancers which unfortunately were almost all of their male population |
horsepower102:All we want is Alaigbo, simple. Anything more than that is another Nigeria in disguise and one group will always accuse the other for their woes while the elites will use the ethnic distrust to promote corruption and backwardness |
VEXT:Remind me what Las Vegas and Dubai is filled with |
Biafrannuke:Ipob tout, you think everybody is a jobless as you to be creating more than one nairaland account to be spewing rubbish |
