What is the purpose of this gutter tripe? One can only sit back and weep for some mothers sha. embarassed
Gutter tripe?! This is assuming you either:

A. Cant read; or

B. The point(s) of the post flew over your head; and/or

C. You got your head so far up President Jonathan's aszz that you think any suggestion that anyone else can vie for the seat of President (which You mistakenly think is Jonathan's Throne) is an affront on Your beliefs!

Dude, anyone/everyone that is qualified should be able to vie for/and become President---- including an Ibo! Why do they have to wait till 2015? Why cant (if everyone wants to really be fair, and really want the Ibos to feel a sense of belonging) it be "Zoned" to the Ibos TODAY, THIS VERY MINUTE?!?! I believe, to a large extent I know how Nigeria works, from reading about it day in day out on this forum and discussing with folks. Lemme tell You what I feel will happen when it is the turn of the Ibos:The other groups will mastermind something that will turn the rest of the country against the Ibos and make them seem unreliable and untrustworthy i.e a coup. I know this, you know this, we all know this. If you really want fairness (the way yall seem to practice in Nigeria) have two Ibo candidates this year, let the winner rule for 8 years, then let the whole "may the best man win irrespective of tribe or religion" shiyyyt start in 2019!

P.S: Now, WE know whose mother should be wept for!

ICE: Heroin Smuggled Into US In Books
Man Who Hid Heroin In Books On Run, Say ICE Agents

DETROIT -- A man convicted of smuggling high school books filled with more than $150,000 worth of high-grade heroin into Detroit went on the run just days before his sentencing.
Federal agents were led to Roland Uwazurike in 2008 after immigration and custom enforcement officials at a loading dock in Memphis, Tenn., intercepted a shipment of the deadly books, which were headed for Detroit.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Special Agent Brian Moskowitz said the sellers intentionally choose to package the books in high school texts, such as history and religion books.
"This stuff is poison and to associate it with books that kids use is just incredible," said Moskowitz.
Customs officers ripped apart the books after noticing something suspicious about the bundle.
"This is not one of the books but it's just an example -- it has a certain rigidity to the cover, in this case. In the CBP officer's experience, the cover wasn't as rigid as it should have been," said Moskowitz.
Undercover DEA agents went to deliver the packages of books to Uwazurike's Detroit home, and that's when they arrested him.
He was charged and convicted of drug charges after trying to smuggle more than 2 pounds of heroin into the country, said federal agents.
Uwazurike, who lives on Longacre Street in Northwest Detroit, was last seen in the city in December 2009, just days before his sentencing.
Uwazurike is a Nigerian national and is known on the streets as "King Roland." He is described as black, about 6 feet tall and 240 pounds.
"I have very little doubt that he's continuing to try and do what he did here," said Moskowitz.
Police believe he is still in Detroit. Anyone with information is asked to call the U.S. Marshals Service immediately.
Moskowitz said this case is particularly disturbing because it was hidden in books and targeted for a very specific audience.
"People are doing this for a profit. Smuggling drugs is not a crime of passion; people are doing it because there is money to be made," said Moskowitz.
Moskowitz said heroin especially is becoming more and more popular with teenagers.
A metro Detroit teen, who wanted to be identified only as John said he first tried the powdery substance in high school.
"The first time I did heroin it was free. They gave me two packs and said, 'Hey, try this and if you like it come back tomorrow -- it's only five bucks,'" said John.

God did not create the universe, says Hawking

LONDON (Reuters) – God did not create the universe and the "Big Bang" was an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics, the eminent British theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking argues in a new book.
In "The Grand Design," co-authored with U.S. physicist Leonard Mlodinow, Hawking says a new series of theories made a creator of the universe redundant, according to the Times newspaper which published extracts on Thursday.
"Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist," Hawking writes.
"It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going."
Hawking, 68, who won global recognition with his 1988 book "A Brief History of Time," an account of the origins of the universe, is renowned for his work on black holes, cosmology and quantum gravity.
Since 1974, the scientist has worked on marrying the two cornerstones of modern physics -- Albert Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, which concerns gravity and large-scale phenomena, and quantum theory, which covers subatomic particles.
His latest comments suggest he has broken away from previous views he has expressed on religion. Previously, he wrote that the laws of physics meant it was simply not necessary to believe that God had intervened in the Big Bang.
He wrote in A Brief History , "If we discover a complete theory, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason -- for then we should know the mind of God."
In his latest book, he said the 1992 discovery of a planet orbiting another star other than the Sun helped deconstruct the view of the father of physics Isaac Newton that the universe could not have arisen out of chaos but was created by God.
"That makes the coincidences of our planetary conditions -- the single Sun, the lucky combination of Earth-Sun distance and solar mass, far less remarkable, and far less compelling evidence that the Earth was carefully designed just to please us human beings," he writes.
Hawking, who is only able to speak through a computer-generated voice synthesizer, has a neuro muscular dystrophy that has progressed over the years and left him almost completely paralyzed.
He began suffering the disease in his early 20s but went on to establish himself as one of the world's leading scientific authorities, and has also made guest appearances in "Star Trek" and the cartoons "Futurama" and "The Simpsons."
Last year he announced he was stepping down as Cambridge University's Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, a position once held by Newton and one he had held since 1979.
"The Grand Design" is due to go on sale next week.
