Ijaw man will remain the president Igboman will protect that presidency Efik/Ibibio man will whip you in line.

mikeansy: I think Nigeria has more reasons to celebrate than Ndigbo.
As an Igbo person it does nothing specially to my pocket or personal security that Ihejirika was appointed COAS. However for Nigeria, a country that likes to make so much noise about wanting to be ONE and yet has systematically prevented this from happening for 44years. An act which I consider as an empathy deficit and a burden on the conscience of the Nigerian nation.
It was always up to Nigeria to prove to Ndigbo that they have outgrown some ridiculous prejudices against Ndigbo.
So I say it is for Nigeria to celebrate its long and belated ability to grow up after a shameful 44years.
We will now see that it practically makes no difference on our everyday problems of electricity, hunger, poverty, lack of basic amenities, security etc if the COAS is Dambazua or Azazi or Ihejirika. smart comment! |

EzeUche22: Goodluck Jonathan is a very astute politician.
I can just imagine what the Hausa-Fulani and some Yorubas are saying about this turn of events. Maybe they can finally start recruiting heavily from the East again.
It is time for us Igbos to have a much larger stake in the military. Just listen to this nutcase! Dude, do u always have to type? Or, do u just wanna justify the money you spend at the internet-cafe by typing as much as possible, no matter how stupid?!! |

Onlytruth: Okay, let me say this.
Frankly I believe that the Igbo "masses" will always vote for Jonathan irrespective of his moves. The Igbo elite may not, irrespective of anything.
I really think that Jonathan is positioning the security of the country to be able to protect him in office. He is also making a subtle statement with this. He is saying that either you allow him to continue in office (frankly I think he will win next year by hook or crook ), or Nigeria will likely disintegrate. He has a guy from the biggest tribe in the east protecting his rear. Don't believe that he did not see someone from south south to give this post to. But if he does that, is the person and the person's tribe big enough to protect him? That is the question.
Even if the north would have moved against him by hook or crook, they would think twice now that they have to pass through this Igbo guy. Now, throw in this Efik/Ibibio guy manning the SSS, and the picture becomes clear. I can go on.
This is a self preservation move by Jonathan, masterfully executed. Man, STFU!!! This is the same Jonathan uve been against from jump. You want me to dig up ur posts when ur "bearded god" opened his shiyyyt filled mouth to support Gen.IBB?!? Now u wanna be part of the team. Nah, son! Get outta here, the world dont trust yall! |

Aigbofa: When an Igbo did or was about to do something praiseworthy, he was invariably given a two-column headline and report in the Pilot, and was always described by his ethnic origin in the headlines. But when the Ph.D. degree of London University, indeed of any university for that matter, was conferred on the first Nigerian ever, the historic news was given a small singlecolumn space in the Pilot, and the headline read: 'Nigerian Economist Passes Ph.D. London.' The scholar concerned was Dr Fadipe, a Yoruba. As late as 1945, two Nigerian law students of Cambridge University, one Yoruba and one Igbo, passed the Law Tripos Examination. The Yoruba passed with second class honours (upper division), and the Igbo also passed with second class honours but in the lower division. The latter got front page publicity in the Pilot, but the former got a small space given to him on the back page a few days after the report of his Igbo colleague had appeared. As for outstanding Yoruba public men, they were all of them daubed as 'imperialist stooges' and ' Uncle Toms'. So. . . . . . NOW I SEE CLEARLY! Its safe to say (and fuxck whose Ox is gored) that INFERIORITY COMPLEX (to the Yorubas) is a Ibo trait that stretches along Ibo land and has been passed on from generation to generation of Biafrans! Wow! Reminds me of when " John Obi becomes youngest Lawyer in India" he is immediately a son of Ndibo! But when " Chukwuemeka Michael is arrested for selling drugs and human body parts", these freaking Ibos try to insist he should be called a Nigerian. . . . Or they conduct a " 22-yr research" to determine that he is, infact, Hausa!!! Beasts! |
