PrecisionFx:Lagos isn't Lagos just because of the ports . The FG controls it you know. And lemme refresh you that we're talking of IGR here. Lagos is Lagos because of its location and culture of Lagosians . Checkout the dates port of Apapa in Lagos and that of port harcourt began operation and tell us why Apapa is still more relevant

Awol1:I doubt you know the meaning of the phrase sell-out OGD left PDP after their defeat so how is he sell- out? |
Yeah right! Just like that? |
So..? |
So, what do they want him to do now, Tell APC to influence the process? I don't get these PDP ppl again o |
Deepthoughts:I see you know about constitutional matter more than the interim CJN or Ononghe that is now appearing before CCT |
Deepthoughts:You need to check out the meanings of removal and suspension first and come tell us if they're same |
tempest01:Which power? So you wouldnt see anything out of place for the CJN to be attending to his criminal matters while still in office? Somebody had to do something . Call it doctrine of necessity. The CJN has no immunity . These judges are just trying to exploit the lacuna ridden constitution to suit their excess |
The internally generated revenue (IGR) of Lagos state rose by approximately N33 billion from 2015 to 2016, beating 33 states put together. According to a report by the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), the state recorded an IGR of N301.19 billion, a rise of N32.99 billion in one year. The total IGR from 33 states of the federation, excluding Delta, Ogun and Rivers states, stood at N299 billion — over a billion less than Lagos IGR. Delta, Ogun and Rivers raked in N44.89 billion, N56.30 billion and N82.10 billion respectively. Like his predecessors, Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola, Akinwunmi Ambode, governor of Lagos state, has at various times committed himself to the generation of IGR in the state. The NEITI report, which reviewed disbursements from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for the fourth quarter of 2016, also showed that Lagos received N109 billion in 2016. The agency lamented low revenue generation across 34 states, citing Lagos and Ogun as the only states generating more than what they get from the central. I'm impressed that Lagos is leading the pack. At this point we must now start comparing Lagos with cities like; Nairobi, Johannesburg, Cairo, Algiers, Casablanca, Alexandra and co. I've seen the level of infracstructures in these cities above but I'm sorry to say we don't have same in Lagos. For example, all these cities have uninterrupted power and functional metro lines but certainly not Lagos . Those stirring the wheel of Lagos should tell us where all these monies are going. We deserve better than being compare with Rivers , Kano or Delta |
fergie001:Why do you ppl like laying claim to things that don't belong to you. The Lagos international Trade Fair belongs to the FG and was only concessioned to a company in 2008. However, the National Council on Privatisation had, in September 2018, approved the revocation of the concession of the trade fair complex. The Trade Fair was even shut today by various Unions of traders in the complex to protest against the revocation of the concession https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/03/why-lagos-trade-fair-was-shut/amp/ |
I thought it was a private school sha So people pay school fees in public schools in Delta |
No time. This is a good sport man |
Who cares |
obrigado080:You and those that made the allegations didn't show any evidence why you call him a mole. But you want him to address the allegation that lack substance, don't you? |
He's drinking but may not be drunk |
Bloggers and fake news |

So ppl mustnt express their opinion again. If the north too is to warn ppl disrespecting Buhari do you ppl know what we'll have in our hands? |
HThe headline is mischievous, misconstrued and deliberately aimed at misinforming the ppl What the senators actually said was that the party leadership should provide a clear cut guideline |
I don't know what these ppl are talking about. I refilled my 12.5 kg 3500 two weeks ago |
id911:Hypocrites! Sowore Is now useless When he was bashing Buhari, Osibanjo, Tinubu, Amaechi and co he was useful Is Atiku still paying you ppl? |
ThothHermes:Against which team? He should go do that against Atlectico then we can argue |
Princeofasia:Let's talk 070 |
Magical |
DMerciful:Buhari will not support anybody to do anything illegal. If APC is well accepted in Rivers, they will win elections. If not, Amaechi and co should take a seat |
The court has no jurisdiction over this matter since the matter has not even been taken to the election tribunal. Politician should allow the process to be completed |
I don't know whether we are illiterates in this country or what? Do or die is an idiom for crying out loud! It has deeper meaning totally different from the meaning of the actual words used It simply means you must give it your all.

The title ought to have said Kwakanso's loyalist in Ganduje's cabinet resigned . Why should he concede defeat inconclusive election? Can PDP accept same? Have they ever? The winner in Imo shouldn't have been announced because the candidate with the highest votes didn't meet the electoral act's requirements. But Pdp sees nothing wrong in that. |
NaijaRoyalty:They can do them together. But they can only do Tinubu when APC is out of power. They missed that chance in the PDP years |
