Stingman: Why call your other basket pdp_igs, owned by Iporks. You freaking liar!
that party was formed by Ekwueme, Orji Kalu and others..while your ota farmer was kept in the dungeon.
You characters like taking the praise when others have done all the work...Like claiming you alone won the Biafran war...
Why are you guys so shameless? So the East founded PDP but Afonja was their first president and the Hausas now control it. Who should really be ashamed now ? Among all the founding members of.PDP, it's only the Igbos you can recall . A group of politicians under the auspices of the All Politicians Summit convened a meeting in 1997 to discuss the way out of what was fast becoming a festering dictatorship. That meeting, led by Dr. Alex Ekwueme was brutally dispersed by the security apparatus of the Sani Abacha's regime. Dr. Ekwueme undeterred by the brutish antics of the regime continued rallying key political figures of different ideological persuasions under a new platform called Institute of civil society. In the midst of all this confusion, a group of political leaders, eighteen of them in the first instance and later thirty-four decided to "dare the lion in his den". This group known as the G-34 later formed the nucleus and rallying point of the associations that formed what is today, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Some of the founding members of the G-34 which later became PDP are Chief Alex Ekwueme, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, Chief Audu Ogbe, Chief Sunday Awoniyi, Alhaji Adamu Ciroma, Alhaji Lawal Kaita, Alhaji Sule Lamido, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Chief Solomon Lar, Iro Alhaji Abubakar, and Alhaji Dan Musa. Others are: Professor Ango Abdullahi, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, Ambassador Aminu Wali, Ambassador Yahaya Kwande, Professor Jibril Aminu, Professor Iya Abubakar, Alhaji Bello Kirfi, Chief Barnabas Gemade, Professor Daniel Saror, Dr. Sulaiman Kumo, Iyochia Ayu, Chief Tom Ikimi, Alhaji Isiyaku Ibrahim, Senator Walid Jibril, Dr. Garba Nadama, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, Chief Abubakar Olusola Saraki, Alhaji Sani Zangon Daura, Chief Antony Aneni, Alhaji Musa Musawa, Chief Bola Ige, Chief Jim Nwobodo, Professor Jerry Gana, Colonel Ahmadu Ali . https://constative.com/politics/pdp-formed-founding-fathers |

Fineman87: You are deceiving yourself. Igbo population in lagos is 48% official figure . Plus SS population in lagos. Add up and see why apc had difficulty winning lagos and even abuja where igbos along gave pdp victory. Igbos in Lagos are 48% abi ? Ok, that leaves the other ethnics with 52% I guess we can say Hausas= 15% Southsouth =15% Other Africans =5% White foreigners = 2% That leaves all the Yorubas with just =15% Sounds fair enough. But you forgot to post the source of your official figure |

FlyboyZee: In Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, a 50kg bag of foreign rice goes for N19,500.00, while the local rice, the one I bought yesterday, went for N16,500.00...
This wasn't different from what it was around this time last month, when I bought rice too. Moreover, this is rice harvesting season and naturally, the price of rice should be low, alas! that's not the case... Same rice is 11k in Kaduna and according to you, 19,500k in Bayelsa . And you'll rather blame Buhari than yourgovernor . |

baddosky1: Igbos are not interested in National politics as we have left it for you and your supreme masters (Northerners) to justle. We are only wary of having contaminants in the form of APC taking over our zone and we displayed that effectively in the just concluded Anambra state guber elections so stop chestbeating.
Whenever you are tempted to think that the Igbos care about political power, always remember this story which depicts the power play in Nigeria.... Nigeria is like a village where the North, SW and SE live together...The North will go for a hunting expedition with yorubas in a thick forest within the village with the yorubas who will be the ones to carry the hunting weapons and tools on their heads, they (the yorubas) will sight a prey, go for the kill, bring the kill home with the north, make the fire, skin the animal caught and roast it while the North just sits down relaxing and after the meat is ready, the North gives the Yoruba the entrails (intestines) only and eat the remaining bulk of the meat. The South East are like pure vegetarian farmers who live very close to the Northern Hunter and his South West slave and feed only on the grains and vegetables which they grow and harvest without the want or care of meat. They live well and healthy off the vegetables, the North feeds fat from the meat while the slave looks malnourished from the intestines given to him by the master. Did your Fulani master, Atiku give you this post ? |

9jakohai: Sad.
This could have been avoided if we had removed oil subsidy in 2012.
If we had done so, many of them marketers would have been deprived of free money from govt, forcing them to raise prices to earn profits, but eventually market forces/competiton would have forced prices down.
Because, with the subsidy regimen, marketers were earning 2 naira per liter in profits. That is why they engaged in scams, to earn profits.
Of course, what they did was wrong, and they must be punished severely. But if subsidy had gone completely, this issue would have never arisen. ] The accused, among others, claimed that they had imported and discharged PMS sometime in September, 2011 at a tanK farm in lagos. However, the witness, in his testimony, told the court how the accused, without any fuel importation, forged over 30 documents and submitted same to the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, to fraudulently obtain the subsidy for the importation of PMS in 2011 https://politicsngr.com/2017/11/27/subsidy-fraud-eternal-oil-md-others-forged-documents- defraud-fg/ |

So using the name is wrong without permission. Chinua Achebe was not the oruginator of "Things fall apart" It was first used in the third line of the first stanza of W.B. Yeats' poem "The Second Coming" in 1919. www.potw.org/archive/potw351.html |

Actually, the song is Jawon's But the question i have for Jawon and those supportin him is, " From whom did you all first heard the word Joromi?" Even 50 cent wringly sought Chinua Achebe's permition to use "Things Fall Apart" thinging Achebe owns it. www.naijastories.com/2011/09/achebe-rejects-50cents-use-of-the-things-fall-apart-title/But then, Achebe wasnt the first to use the sentence " Things fall apart; the center cannot hold" It was first used in the first stanza of W.B.Yeats' poem "The Second Coming" written in 1919. www.potw.org/archive/potw351.html I'm sure even 50 didnt know this, he wouldnt have gone asking for Achebe's consent . So Jawon should jst tell us where he first heard the word Joromi |
