Feanah:I dont know the Chemical market but I am sure when you get to Ojota you can locate it . Or best ask the driver from Oshodi. From 2nd Rainbow board a bus to Oshodi under bridge. Drop before the bus climb the bridge and board another bus to Ketu/Ojota. Ask the driver or conductor for the Chemical market so you can drop at the right busstop. Goodluck! |
There you have a point Now we stuck between giving to the the poor or our comfortable pastor Though Lagos Govt now has a Fund where they take care of beggars with funds donated by people. So do we now give it to our corrupt politicians? |
dodelight:If she were a civil servant she would have been quarried for negligence. But the position she occupied was political , and the buck stops at the president's table. So the president will take all blames. But thru it all, she ought to have resigned. With that we wont have anythng on her now. But the facts remain that she supervised our economy into a Recession even when we were earning our highest income |
dodelight:How is TSA responsible for current economics hardship? Did it lead to the crash of crude price or the plummet of the naira? |

Feraz:Sorry about that. i just checked They had like 5 years ahead of Marvel. But back in the days Marvel just seems to have richer content and larger followers than DC. Thats what gave me the impression |
I remember way back in the early 90s when i used to buy comic books. It was very hard to get a Marvel comic those days because it was hot on the stand, while DC was everywhere. Marvel has more popular superheroes in Ironman, Hulk, Thor, XMen, Spiderman...The only popular ones in DC are Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman...and maybe Catwoman. I think DC has closed the gap between them now. Cos they were no competition in the 90s |
Same test should be conducted on all current political office holders too to verify their level of competency to hold the offices they occupy. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander |
rusher14:Owasanoye, who was part of the team that drafted the whistle-blower policy had said, “If you blow the whistle and the government recovers cash, you are entitled to between 2.5 per cent and five per cent. The maximum limit is five per cent. “According to the policy, if you blow the whistle and it is below N500m, you get four to five per cent because the higher the amount that is recovered, the lower the percentage that is given. This is the global best practice. “If the recovery is between N500m and N1bn, you get three to four per cent (commission). If it is N1bn and above, it is 2.5 per cent. Indeed, there is a clause that we included in the policy to say that the government may determine the amount to be awarded based on other criteria provided that the amount to be awarded doesn’t exceed five per cent. In other words, the government may actually pay less than 2.5 per cent but nobody can be paid more than five per cent.” The higher the money the lesser the % The best the whistle blower can do is ask for the % was used to pay him |
Local govt dont function effectively again in Lagos. But Op, you wont tell Nairalanders that the LSG have did Ali dada, Lateef Gboyega, Bolugun streets all on Ago road. That your Taiwo street is a very dirty street inhabited by people that dispose dirt indiscriminately. Coupled with the high tension cable thats on it . To do that street will cost yhe Govt more . |
"Human!" Please Op, kindly remove the "human" and put corrupt people's right |
Jirate:You ppl dont know jack about Nigerian politics. The same dissapointment you got in 2015 awaits you in 2019. "No northern politician can defeat Buhari" -l' E'rufai |
As my friend once said “Atiku’s
Presidential ambition is an
economy on its own. If he stops
running, many will lose their source
of income.” |

adeolakemi:You are Igbo! Stop deceiving yourself. |
adeolakemi:You are an impostor You are not Yoruba |
adeolakemi:You said, "We Yorubas" And said again, "We'll solidly stand with our own." Are you Yoruba or Igbo? Or you forgot you were on Yoruba acting mode and ignorantly exposed your pretence?" |

There are many foriegners in London today. Can they say they made London what it is today? On the contrary, London gave them that space and opportunity to achieve what they couldnt achieve wherever they came from. Thats the Lagos story. And we shouldnt abuse the opportunity Lagos gave us all to the point of disrespecting the real natives of Lagos. |
Habakus:Gimme names now , so i can look it up. Names like Egba, Ijebu, Awori,Ilaje, Egun, Egbado,Okun ... I cant go searching for "those ppl" Mind you, I've researched those I listed. |
Habakus:You said ...those ppl , those ppl. Is "those ppl" a particular tribe . Mention one of the tribes you are refering to now |
This man is a confusionist. How can Aworis be Bini and Binis Aworis? If that is so, this means the Binis are Yoruba too. Because Aworis are definately Yoruba . The origin of the name means "Awo ri" i.e. the plate sank. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Awori_tribe Does he even know that the word Benin is a Yoruba word given by Oduduwas' grand-son, the then Oba of Benin, meaning "ile ibinu" i.e. Land of Vextation? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benin_Empire |
