Today's atmosphere at the Winningword international christian center (WICC) was that of enlightenment and encouragement as Pastor Mike Anthony revealed one of the reasons why people usually fail in life, before moving on to evaluate a few secrets to success and what can be done to improve every situation.

Although insistent that a believer has a higher advantage over unbelievers, the amiable preacher warned the congregation against looking back "God gives his rhema word for every season so don't transfer old instructions into the new season. Laziness is what makes people regard old instructions for new situations so I encourage you to stop looking back and dwelling in past achievements. Also know this, the world will judge you based on

And To succeed in every season, you must be full of faith which will require a prayer filled life". He also explained that "because there are spirits behind everything in life, we must learn to command and cast out spirits. Beginning with a colorful welcome address and introduction of special guests by the impressive MC portable, who commended the school’s efforts and implored parents to always appreciate teachers before moving on to introduce the high table which included local government representative, Honorable Isaac Ajibose, Mrs. Jato, and veteran journalist, Ayo Lawal amidst a host of dignitaries. The programme’s welcome song and speech, recited by the grade II students was accompanied by traditional drums which became a recurrent background theme throughout the event and the ceremony officially kicked off with request for showers of blessings by Pastor Gabriel, who fervently prayed that God’s grace and continuous advancement come upon all and sundry. Then the speech by Honorable Isaac Ola Ajibose, the official representative of the Ifako Ijaiye local government, who apologized for the chairman, Oloruntoba Oke’s, unavailability and congratulated the hosts on their impressive feats. A major highlight was the introduction of the high-spirited proprietress, Mrs. Grace Aderibigbe, who rocked the stage in her traditional attire and danced with staff and few well-wishers, before changing into a more corporate combination of black and white for the rest of the occasion. With several enlightening plays, recitations, presentations and cultural dance choreography being a major feature of the ceremony, the acrobatic Atilogwu dance by pupils of the school proved to be the most mesmerizing of all, as the audience reacted with occasional cheers and standing ovation till the end of the presentation.

Several guests and parents happily shared stories of the school’s magnanimity; with most eulogizing the proprietress for her role in grooming the pupils for higher society, it was interesting to learn that despite the amenities in the school, the facility remained highly affordable. An unscripted emotional drama played out when Mrs. Akogun, one of the parents went onstage to appreciate the staff and proprietress especially, for roles played in her children’s successful completion of their primary education. “A lot of people here will agree that these women here aren’t just staff, they are also mothers to our kids that deserve to be celebrated, which is why after graduating my three children, we are obliged to appreciate their efforts". After publicly celebrating them as worthy mothers, Mrs. Akogun gifted the staff with bags of goodies.
After the show of appreciation by Mrs. Akogun, the proprietress briefly reappeared onstage in her black and white English combination to thank the guests for participating, and also prayed for the parents before presenting a revised scorecard of the school’s activities for the year. “We are proud to introduce to the world, another set of brilliant shining diamonds who have proven capable of holding themselves academically in the society, and asides education, we have also excelled in extracurricular activities. After the proprietress’ address, the event rapidly moved onto the hymn recital by the school choir, and the valedictory speech by the graduands who were all emotional by now. The actual prize giving ceremony was blissfully nostalgic; with most of the students excelling in their various activities, the stage was crowded with proud parents and supportive guests who joined their hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Yinka Aderibigbe in cutting the cake. Angels and New Creations Reality; (Hebrews 1; 7,14)

Laying emphasis on destinies being helpless without the help of angels and that the consistent declaration of God's word guarantees manifestation, Pastor Mike of the Winningword International Christian Centre, Lagos, described  angels as "practically designed by God to help us in all our affairs, in such a way that we can't fulfill all our life expectations and ambitions if we do not engage their assistance. You need angels to advance in life because without them, there is limited assistance from heaven".

Citing the story of Peter's imprisonment as a good example of church prayers being answered because God freed him through an angel, Pastor Mike encouraged the congregation to speak God's word over all situation and also use the appropriate words/ scriptures for the appropriate mood. He pushed that angels are ministering spirits who are subject to us and everyone has a guardian angel, using the story of the bus driver and his son to teach the importance of angels when avoiding mistakes. "Everyone has an assigned guardian angel and as a result of that, Angels too will be judged on the last day. Look at the case of the bus driver who had earlier directed his son to stand a distance away from the usual parking spot, and when a stranger tried convincing the young boy to wait at the spot, he refused. It was until the bus finally stopped exactly in front of the boy before he revealed to the stranger, the bus driver is my father".

The programme progressed into an informative and educative session when Minister Abiodun charged the congregation on the types of friends they keep before telling the three types of friends that exist. "Friends affect your health in so many ways, spiritually, mentally, financially and so on. We have three types of friends, and they are

1: The users; who are there when all is rosy but distance themselves during bad times

2: The cautious; who are the majority who usually keep their options open.

3: The committed; stand by you at all times.

Hence, moving with the wrong crowd, (possibly relatives and siblings) could lead to stress, slow reasoning faculties, high blood pressure, insomnia and depression amongst other disorders". She rounded up by by asking the congregation to choose their friends wisely as some become hard to dissociate from.

The programme ended with a charge by Pastor Mike to be vigilant, especially with kids due to the recent spate of kidnappings in churches.

Prayer: Angels will lead me in the path which is Light.

Having established that Humanity is the sum of God's creation and it is whoever given authority that prevails, Pastor Michael Anthony of the Winningword International Christian Centre moved on to teach the importance of a solid foundation in Christ, one devoid of sin. "It is only after discovering a new identity in Christ that you can understand another realm of your current reality (2nd Corinthians 8v9) which is; you are not the poor trying to get rich but actually the rich discovering your inheritance because Christ left his riches in glory, came down to earth and became poor so that we can access the riches for ourselves. And as for those who already walk in the spirit, failure is not part of your covenant with God"

"Jesus has set you free, so let no one break or condemn you, even those dead in sin, because Jesus has paid the ultimate price for everyone's freedom; His Blood. He pushed on by stating that vices are spirits and as such, all vices must be dealt with spiritually, including fornication and adultery". The Head Pastor told the inspiring story of his breakthrough, especially him defeating the spirit of masturbation, then he gave the congregation lines to repeat when confronted with challenges. "I am Special, I Can Do it, and there is Order in my life". The programme ended with a reminder of the network vigil scheduled to hold tonight from everyone's respective homes between 12 midnight till 1.30am.

Today's atmosphere at the Winningword international Christian centre proved to be full of revelations, prophecies and insights as the head Pastor, Michael Wonder, engaged the congregation in an impromptu interactive session in a bid to assess and strengthen their spiritual life. Beginning with a short prayer session conducted by Minister Bola, who proceeded to charge the crowd's spirit ahead of the interactive session with the head Pastor at their No. 9 Olaore prayer grounds in the Iju Ishaga area of Lagos state and with the session still focused on the recurrent topic, the Law of Confession, it eventually led to the introduction of the Law of Finality.

By describing life as hustle-like and full of surprises, Pastor Michael elaborated on the need to be spiritually alert in everything we do, including our thoughts and why the application of the Law of Confession should be a nonstop affair. He taught why we should nurture a relationship with the Bible and be aware of our thoughts, be it solicited thoughts or unsolicited thoughts. Posing questions to the congregation from the Law of Confession series, the Pastor discussed Solicited thoughts as the ones you ask for and they come to you while Unsolicited thoughts are those you don't ask for but they come to you nonetheless, which is why whenever you don't feel like connecting to God, be conscious there's something wrong. "You should be able to interpret dreams and tell when God is reaching out because sometimes, God's plan for you can be greater than your request, hence, the prayer should take this form, Lord, in Your mercies that You have reserved for me, Lord bring them my way".

The service bloomed into a revelation and prophetic ministration when the Pastor began to make revelations and prophecies, before sharing scripture verses to tackle various situations. The scripture verses include: Isaiah 55 vs 8 and 9 when making requests to God; Deuteronomy 28 vs 12 when requesting divine blessing for business and Isaiah 8 vs 18 for family development. The service ended before midday as usual.

WICC teaches the law of Intentionality during Confessions.

Focusing on the importance of applying confessions in our daily activities, the Winningword International Christian Centre is teaching the importance of applying the Law of Intentionality during our confessions.

Determined to raise successful people, the Head Pastor, Michael Anthony Wonder, has been emphasizing on the need to be intentional (focused and specific) during the confessions of our mouth in order to get the utmost desired result. Firstly, giving the instance of the devil having specific intentions; to steal, kill and destroy while Jesus has the specific intention to save, hence every time words are spoken, there must be intentionality in the heart because the enemy can sense if the words aren't right or forceful. Just like in the case of responding to God bless you without being specific for the reasons for God's blessing, he stressed that "it is the intensity of the intentionality that will provoke heavens attention and assure miracle which is why whoever that wants to enjoy life should refrain their tongues from evil especially during bad seasons (times of pain, bitterness, despair, loss, betrayal), just like Job who refused to sin against God with his mouth during his trial, because whatever you are intentional about will surely come to you overtime, that's why even cultists understand the concept of intentionality when swearing oaths. Mind you despite the law of intentionality being real and much greater than science, God's blessings come according to the works of your hands and family life so it is necessary to put down realistic confessions when using your imagination. You should also learn not to talk about where you have been (past accomplishments), instead look beyond your faults and shortcomings when talking about your preferred elevation station. A lot of people still live below their desire because they don't yet understand that better days come with better words. My dear brothers and sisters, once you understand what happens in the spirit realm when you speak, you will see the need to be mindful of your utterances".

The ishaga area was recently thrown into mourning as one of their beloved, Ibrahim who was snatched by the cold hands of death was laid to rest. Akogun, as he is fondly called had been battling an undisclosed ailment which prompted him to return to his hometown in Abeokuta where he died last week and was swiftly buried.

Friends and sympathizers paid their last respects at his Ishaga residence, with a brief prayer session which held in the morning and a candle night later in the evening.

Before his untimely death, Akogun was a popular humorist within the Ishaga/ Rogo area's social scene, his humor and tantrums will be missed by family, relatives and friends, most especially Jamiu Oseni, his best friend.

The Winningword International Christian Centre, WICC, celebrated today's meeting with an inspiring lecture on the power of confession by the centre's head pastor, Mike Wonder.

The hour length lecture which featured Abraham (Gen. 15.1-6) as case study focused on the power of godly confessions in our daily lives, urging us to "imagine a nation" ruled by us and most importantly, inspired by God. Pastor Mike also taught the importance of being able to understand and interpret your generation as a major factor determining how well your imagination forms. "We live in the Knowledge age now, you can't apply the tactics of the stone or iron age and expect results, it is only when you understand and can successfully interpret your generation, then your imagination can form and please my brothers and sisters, your imagination has to be inspired by God and not carnal desires, God will then create a better picture in your imaginations" he summed up.

The centre which rounded up before midday, raised alarm, through its health department, on the dangerous use of chemicals like sniper on foodstuffs and fruits, while formalin is used by cold room operators and meat sellers to keep their stock fresh.
