Meet Transgender Ghanaian Ohemartin – Our Own Version of Bobrisky Whose DM Is Filled With Dudes Hoping To Smash – PHOTOS

A Ghanaian transgender individual, known on social media as Ohemartin but born Martin Hughes, is raising awareness of the issue in Ghana on a level never seen before.

Ohemartin is essentially Ghana’s version of infamous Nigerian social media personality Bobrisky – born a guy but transitioned to a woman and managed to build a following on social media.

Ohemartin is not yet on Bob’s level and not made the impact Bobrisky has in making transgenderism mainstream, but she’s on the path to do so.

Speaking with Pulse Ghana, she revealed how at a very young age she realized that she was in the wrong body as she wanted to be a girl.

“I caught myself in a role I didn’t want to play anymore at the age of 7. The vibe of the boys was annoying. I think it was toxic for me because I felt like a boy playing with girls,” she said.

Ohemartin actually attended Mfantsipim High School and said she faced discrimination due to her situation.

“High School was the trouble. That was stress. The real hard life because I went to a boys school. I was in Mfantsipim School and it was stressful.

“It was a hypocritical system. You have boys telling you stuff, proposing to you and all but in the eye of the public, they will be judging you.”

CelebritiesRe: How One Night Stand With Mr Handsome Got Me Pregnant In NYSC Camp by black9: 1:00pm On Jan 17, 2020
oluwafemme129:
How One Night Stand with Mr Handsome Got Me Pregnant in NYSC Camp, now I am searching for the father of my unborn baby.

It all started in NYSC Orientation Camp Wannune,Tarka,Benue State. On this Fateful day I was on my way to Mammie market to get my favourite meal which is noodles and egg, I met this handsome young man on my way we picked a chat and he said he is heading to eat too.

We headed to my favourite spot and he ate the same meal as mine, I was about paying for my meal and surprisingly he said I shouldn’t bother about payment, I thanked him anyway and he requested for my phone number which I gladly gave him without hesitation. Moreover he paid for me without knowing me.

After that day, he didn't call, until two days time when i thought he has forgotten me, i saw his call. He requested to know me better so we had a date the next day which was SAED class. we decided to meet at the stadium, there we have a long discussion and get to know our self better.

He summoned the courage to ask me out, i was actually waiting for him to say such during our conversation finally he did. I didn't give him straight answer i just smiled which means yes.

He took me to my favourite spot for dinner. Who am i to say no, We had a good time that night but the fun was cut off by a soldier man who blow the beagle which signal us to return to our various lodges.

On the the last day of camp we left camp together and lodged in a hotel and trust me I had the sex have been longing for with my Mr handsome. It was a one night stand, and yes i enjoyed it.

A month after leaving camp I missed My menstrual period which was as a result of the sex we had, All test shows am pregnant.

All effort to get in touch with Mr handsome have been in vain.

What should i do?

RomanceRe: I Unintentionally Exposed My Girlfriend by black9: 2:58pm On Jan 14, 2020
soobaba:
Hi guys,
So I'll be very direct and summarize this as possible. But please bear with me if I get carried away...

I've been been dating my girlfriend for a year now and we are very serious and I'm even considering proposing to her, but we are not based in the same town.

So I called her with another number last night, she couldn't recognize my voice cause I sounded different, so I decided to play around cause we gist and make fun of each other a lot. So I acted like I was someone who got her number and is trying to toast her.

She asked who was speaking and I said Victor, that I got her number when I saw her in the bank, we were on the same queue, so I copied her number from her teller, she laughed and all, so after all the lines I poured out, she was just laughing and flowing along, so I asked if we could see that night, but she said it was late but I had to persuade her, so she agreed that I instead come to her place to see her. "This is someone she hasn't met before and she agreed for him to come see her at her place, in the night for that matter".

So I asked for her address and she gave out her real address, asked if she has a boyfriend and she said yes but we ain't in the same town.
I got upset and had to open up and ask why she's cheating on her guy? At this point she was mute and ended the call. I called back but she didn't answer anymore.

So I just dropped a message on WhatsApp that I was disappointed.

Her reply was devastating: she wrote;
"keep your disappointment in your pocket.
Don't even get me more angry.
Just do yourself a favor by not ever mentioning me in your mouth again.
Remove everything that has to do with me in your phone and life.
Rubbish.
No be only disappointment.
Grow up.
Comot for my front make I see road jor..."

I haven't replied her yet, don't even know what to say to her right now, thought about calling her but my brother told me not to, that I should just free her. Please guys what should I do?

Moderator please help me move this to front page...

Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Do I Handle This Issue At Work? by black9: 3:08pm On Dec 28, 2019
Jokerman:
Hello. I need advice on this topic

About a year ago, my Dad died, being an owner of a primary school with my mom, thereafter o assumed head of the school, although I run my own freelance engineering installation and maintenance service on HVACs and Diesel engines.

In course of this education line, I'm obtaining my certificate in PGDE( in view).

Now this is the case...

There are some old staff in the school then whom use to collect school fees on behalf of the school and you know Nigerians, instead of remitting the fees to the school, they divert and scam and even go as far as lending money to different people in the vicinity.

However since I took over, I forcefully stopped the collection, and redirected all fees to be paid at the bank. Mhen, it was not small trouble, fight, gossiping, spoiling me at the back etc, but I never listened to such, and right now no one collects these fees again... Everything goes through me coz I'm trying to sanitize it. I also required the services of a registered security company operator (sheriff deputies) for the school

Problems I needed advice

1. Sometimes these rebellion. They gossip and talk evil to people that I'm very harsh etc

2. I have changed 2 security operators because of compromises with these staff. I will give instruction, Buh those they'd do otherwise and bend to what other older staff tell them. Recently, the present security did something contrary and I scolded him toughly. Recently, he had an alteration with a parent and I asked him to just plead with her. He refused blatantly. I was surprised and even my mom too. He said he doesn't like the way I scold him and that's why bla bla bla, infront of all other staff. My mom asked me not to change him Buh I'm skeptical

I already feel like changing him with his company supervisor coz he lives around the vicinity and he now gossips with those old staff who might be telling him I'm too young to order him to do things

4. These old staffs are like friends to my mom and they already carry a lot of influence with most of the parents (which I also cut off too). One of them is wife to my mom's brother

5. My mother has been telling me to be patient even my wife. I do not want to employ an headteacher until I change a lot of things

The school has about 300-350 pupils, and employs 18 staff

Advice needed

Lalasticlala
how many u wan change, you go just change tire. my 2cent is to tough it out with them and continue to keep the business sane. Wait till they attain your level of blessing and see if they will allow you near their daily bread talk less of fingering it. I understand where you're coming from and your mum can't publicly support you should in case tides turn, still Kip up d progressive work.

CelebritiesWould You Be A Driver For 4.8M A Year? By Ife Ajagbe by black9(op): 5:05pm On Dec 24, 2019
If you have ever been ‘broke’, hungry and bored at the same time, you have definitely considered a job that is way below your qualification. Your thought is, ‘I just need something to take me out of the house daily’. Let’s start with commercial vehicles that are not on the app. It is estimated that Danfo drivers make as much or as little as ₦780,800 per month especially if you are on the Obalende/Ajah axis. They share this with conductors, mechanic, traffic officials, the bus owner and the National Union Of Road Transport Workers’ (NURTW) officials. Yes, officials even though they strike you as touts. The truth is that they have bosses that require remittance of the money collected. We’ll leave that for another conversation.

With regards to this monthly income, the driver can still go home with as much as ₦ 400,000 if he is careful enough to obey traffic rules and maintain his vehicle properly. That’s a sum of ₦ 4.8M per year. Now, let’s talk about your income; you work as an accountant at a factory, earn ₦ 90,000 per month ( ₦ 1.08M per year) and look down on a danfo driver’s dirty job… We should talk about the income of our friends on the taxi apps, right? We will do that before this conversation ends but first, you should know what some graduates think of being commercial drivers.

Tboy Bolaji says that, ‘there is no big deal in going for a petty job as a graduate. People do a lot of dirty stuff travelling abroad. Yes, I can do it.’ Wait, I hear that bus drivers in Canada earn as much as $80,000 per year. At the rate of

₦ 275.43 per Canadian dollar, that is ₦22.03M per year. Edward Oparugo observes that, ‘there are a lot of okada riders, taxi drivers and keke drivers who are graduates. Was it not in your studio in Metro FM that we talked about PhD holders who applied for Dangote’s truck-driving job? Degree doesn’t put food on the table anymore in Nigeria…’ At this point, we should talk about the fact that when you hail a ride on the Uber or Bolt app, the driver is very likely to be decently educated. Statistics from alvia.com show that an average Uber driver in Lagos works about 30 hours per week and makes as much as ₦3.06M per year. I also observed a number of drivers are on multiple apps so that for every outing, the chance of getting a customer increases.

CelebritiesThe Harvest : Dignitaries Convene For Genesis Global Parish by black9(op): 4:16pm On Dec 21, 2019
Nigeria's much anticipated Harvest for Celestial Church of God; Genesis Global Parish, Alakuko, eventually happened on Sunday, 15th of December, within church premises and the golden occasion proved worthy of its hype as it successfully convened hundreds of faithfuls during the elaborate ceremony. Representing spiritual reaping which introduces physical abundance, the yearly affair subsequently welcomed an allround fruitful harvest for everyone, especially the host Alakuko community wherein Genesis Global Parish is situated, as traders and transporters also benefitted from the fruitful harvest, sowing services and reaping payments from the multitude in attendance.

Beginning with a heartfelt Thanksgiving by the Senior Shepherd of the church, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, who dutifully enlightened the congregation on the process before Harvest also gave glory to God for exposing a recent suicide attempt which could soil the reputation of their spiritual institution. Preaching on Harvest, Prophet Ogundipe informed the crowd that Harvest has to do with sowing and reaping; in the sense that one can sow his time or resources and there is usually a period of waiting before eventual harvest, which can come either spiritually or physically, then he implored Nigerians to always exercise patience in whatever they're doing. ”Harvest requires planting, watering, cleaning and then reaping”, he explained. "Many people can’t wait and that is why they move from one place to the other looking for miracles". And he quickly acknowledged God's intervention concerning the attempted suicide with a grateful heart "On Tuesday, 10th December, while the vigil was, it was during our prayer session against forces intent on giving the church a bad name or mar the harvest programme that a worshipper outside the auditorium raised an alarm that a young man was about to jump into a well within the church premises and we rushed out to prevent him. If that had happened, what would we be saying today so let us give all honour and glory to God” , Prophet Ogundipe added.

The beautifully organised event attracted dozens of dignitaries and socialites, which led to more canopies and chairs being made available outside the church auditorium for those who could not find space in the main church while watching the proceedings through big screens positioned at vantage points around the church premises. The harvest eventually rounded up with groovy vibes from King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal KWAM 1 who was on deck to lift lifted spirits higher at the Genesis Global 2019 Harvest. Dignitaries at the harvest service include Deputy Inspector General of Police Operations, DIG Abdulmajid Ali, his personal assistant and former Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi; the Divisional Police Officer, Alagbado Police Division; King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal; Apostolic Mother, Bosede Oshinowo as well as Genesis Global Parish members from the United States and England

Christianity Etc3 Great Reasons Why Jesus Was Born by black9(op): 11:12am On Dec 15, 2019
Why was Jesus born. Why didn't God do same with Jesus case as he did with Adam's creation.

In commemorating the Christmas Service hosted by GraceMade this Sunday at Durban Hotel, Ogba Aguda, anchored by comedian Mecoy, which also featured special presentations by GraceMade Theatre and children's choir, lead Pastor Seun Osigbesan begins a series on why Jesus Christ was born and shares 3 top reasons.

1). Hebrews 1vs 3
One major reason is cos God wanted us to have a glimpse of who he is. So, He sent Jesus for us to have an idea of what He is and how He wants us to live, considering we can feel his creations and presence all the time. Jesus Christ is the express image of God and how he expects us to operate.
PS. Jesus came to experience the frailties of man amongst other imperfections. P.S. in every situation, Always consider, What will Jesus do (WWJD)

2). Hebrews 10
Another reason Jesus was born was to take away the sins of the world through a perfect sacrifice. We are born into sin (imperfections), Jesus came as the ultimate atonement once and for all, hence nobody can become born again without acknowledging Jesus.
There is a yearly sacrificial remembrance on behalf of sins

3). Hebrews 5.3-10
Jesus was born so mankind could have a mediator. The Bible describes him as the mediator of the new testament. And the testator had to die to validate the testament. Christ is a High Priest
