After take off at 10, our convoy of 3 automobiles successfully connected to the island without incident and landed at the more flexible Oniru beach to experience a more social atmosphere to commemorate the festive season. Sensing a likely hike in prices of commodities, the senior ladies took to securing a choice location in front of the ocean while we offloaded and assisted in setting up general tent ahead of the show ahead. First spoiled with fleshy desserts and chocolate cakes for commendable teamwork towards progress, Everyone quickly wolfed down their party meal before properly commencing our adventure at the beach, which consisted of dinghy riding, beach soccer, photo sessions, swimming and running contests amongst other socially engaging activities until fears of return trip traffic forced a sunset move. At this stage in my career, if I don’t get a clean version of your biggest artiste’s song, I am simply not playing it. I don’t need to prove to anyone that I have interviewed Asa, Yemi Alade, Olamide, Banky W, Bez, Darey, Fireboy or the ice-cool you. Now, I need to calm down and tell you the real reason no one seems to be paying attention to your music in the traditional media (Radio and television). The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, NBC is the watchdog of the watchdogs (Journalists and Broadcasters) and it demands that the airwaves stay clean with appropriate penalty for erring persons. Section 3.6.1 of the Nigerian Broadcasting Code says, ‘Obscene, indecent, vulgar language, lewd and profane expression, presentation or representation is NOT ALLOWED.’ Read full gist and make sure to drop your comments here https://cdn-af.feednews.com/news/detail/90a54109dfbf31cd1d360d01d6afe11d

If you have ever been ‘broke’, hungry and bored at the same time, you have definitely considered a job that is way below your qualification. Your thought is, ‘I just need something to take me out of the house daily’. Let’s start with commercial vehicles that are not on the app. It is estimated that Danfo drivers make as much or as little as ₦780,800 per month especially if you are on the Obalende/Ajah axis. They share this with conductors, mechanic, traffic officials, the bus owner and the National Union Of Road Transport Workers’ (NURTW) officials. Yes, officials even though they strike you as touts. The truth is that they have bosses that require remittance of the money collected. We’ll leave that for another conversation. With regards to this monthly income, the driver can still go home with as much as ₦ 400,000 if he is careful enough to obey traffic rules and maintain his vehicle properly. That’s a sum of ₦ 4.8M per year. Now, let’s talk about your income; you work as an accountant at a factory, earn ₦ 90,000 per month ( ₦ 1.08M per year) and look down on a danfo driver’s dirty job… We should talk about the income of our friends on the taxi apps, right? We will do that before this conversation ends but first, you should know what some graduates think of being commercial drivers. Tboy Bolaji says that, ‘there is no big deal in going for a petty job as a graduate. People do a lot of dirty stuff travelling abroad. Yes, I can do it.’ Wait, I hear that bus drivers in Canada earn as much as $80,000 per year. At the rate of ₦ 275.43 per Canadian dollar, that is ₦22.03M per year. Edward Oparugo observes that, ‘there are a lot of okada riders, taxi drivers and keke drivers who are graduates. Was it not in your studio in Metro FM that we talked about PhD holders who applied for Dangote’s truck-driving job? Degree doesn’t put food on the table anymore in Nigeria…’ At this point, we should talk about the fact that when you hail a ride on the Uber or Bolt app, the driver is very likely to be decently educated. Statistics from alvia.com show that an average Uber driver in Lagos works about 30 hours per week and makes as much as ₦3.06M per year. I also observed a number of drivers are on multiple apps so that for every outing, the chance of getting a customer increases. Nigeria's much anticipated Harvest for Celestial Church of God; Genesis Global Parish, Alakuko, eventually happened on Sunday, 15th of December, within church premises and the golden occasion proved worthy of its hype as it successfully convened hundreds of faithfuls during the elaborate ceremony. Representing spiritual reaping which introduces physical abundance, the yearly affair subsequently welcomed an allround fruitful harvest for everyone, especially the host Alakuko community wherein Genesis Global Parish is situated, as traders and transporters also benefitted from the fruitful harvest, sowing services and reaping payments from the multitude in attendance. Beginning with a heartfelt Thanksgiving by the Senior Shepherd of the church, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, who dutifully enlightened the congregation on the process before Harvest also gave glory to God for exposing a recent suicide attempt which could soil the reputation of their spiritual institution. Preaching on Harvest, Prophet Ogundipe informed the crowd that Harvest has to do with sowing and reaping; in the sense that one can sow his time or resources and there is usually a period of waiting before eventual harvest, which can come either spiritually or physically, then he implored Nigerians to always exercise patience in whatever they're doing. ”Harvest requires planting, watering, cleaning and then reaping”, he explained. "Many people can’t wait and that is why they move from one place to the other looking for miracles". And he quickly acknowledged God's intervention concerning the attempted suicide with a grateful heart "On Tuesday, 10th December, while the vigil was, it was during our prayer session against forces intent on giving the church a bad name or mar the harvest programme that a worshipper outside the auditorium raised an alarm that a young man was about to jump into a well within the church premises and we rushed out to prevent him. If that had happened, what would we be saying today so let us give all honour and glory to God” , Prophet Ogundipe added. The beautifully organised event attracted dozens of dignitaries and socialites, which led to more canopies and chairs being made available outside the church auditorium for those who could not find space in the main church while watching the proceedings through big screens positioned at vantage points around the church premises. The harvest eventually rounded up with groovy vibes from King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal KWAM 1 who was on deck to lift lifted spirits higher at the Genesis Global 2019 Harvest. Dignitaries at the harvest service include Deputy Inspector General of Police Operations, DIG Abdulmajid Ali, his personal assistant and former Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi; the Divisional Police Officer, Alagbado Police Division; King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal; Apostolic Mother, Bosede Oshinowo as well as Genesis Global Parish members from the United States and England By Tomisin Ojo (DSTV 255) & Deji Obasa (Plug Central)

Why was Jesus born. Why didn't God do same with Jesus case as he did with Adam's creation. In commemorating the Christmas Service hosted by GraceMade this Sunday at Durban Hotel, Ogba Aguda, anchored by comedian Mecoy, which also featured special presentations by GraceMade Theatre and children's choir, lead Pastor Seun Osigbesan begins a series on why Jesus Christ was born and shares 3 top reasons. 1). Hebrews 1vs 3 One major reason is cos God wanted us to have a glimpse of who he is. So, He sent Jesus for us to have an idea of what He is and how He wants us to live, considering we can feel his creations and presence all the time. Jesus Christ is the express image of God and how he expects us to operate. PS. Jesus came to experience the frailties of man amongst other imperfections. P.S. in every situation, Always consider, What will Jesus do (WWJD) 2). Hebrews 10 Another reason Jesus was born was to take away the sins of the world through a perfect sacrifice. We are born into sin (imperfections), Jesus came as the ultimate atonement once and for all, hence nobody can become born again without acknowledging Jesus. There is a yearly sacrificial remembrance on behalf of sins 3). Hebrews 5.3-10 Jesus was born so mankind could have a mediator. The Bible describes him as the mediator of the new testament. And the testator had to die to validate the testament. Christ is a High Priest Join Us next Sunday At Grace Made Christian Centre, Ogba- Aguda Lagos
