YSPON: Thank you to all that contributed. But I don't really understand your post. Is it possible for me to still book an earlier date say December/Early January? what will happen to my other appointment? pls shed more light bro thanks. Yes, if another earlier date becomes available (likely as a result of someone else cancelling) you may reschedule to an earlier date. Before you reschedule to another date you first have to cancel you initial appointment, so that date will be freed up for someone else. |

Lalaski001: @Lalaski001 Can you give your opinion on the following: 1. Can my old international passport serve as biographically old document? 3. Is primary school certificate a must? I went to secondary school from primary 5, can I use my primary 5 results instead? |

YSPON: Hello everyone, pls I got a date towards the end of January for my appointment and my course is to start February ending. Is the date OK considering the fact that one needs about 6wks. I am very worried as I would have loved a date in December. Don't worry yourself so much, but be on the watch. As @Lalaski001 said, most people can't honour their dates. As January draws closer a lot of people will free up their dates to avoid getting suspended. Get all your documents prepared, so that in the event this happens you can quickly take advantage. |

Can I use my old passport as a biographically old document?
Or is WAEC enough? |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Blackanada(m): 9:22pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
1. For visa is high school testimonial necessary or waec is sufficient?
2. Can my old international passport serve as biographically old document?
3. Is primary school certificate a must? I went to secondary school from primary 5, so I don't have it. |

TemitopeWalker: Yes boss and if you are older than 30 you will pay higher insurance Sir.. but it has an advantage you can bring your wife in future even as a student and she won't have to pay 8k euro... From what I understand single people are actually taxed more in Germany. |

Thermilola: lords in the house. Pls am using uni-assist with my application and av gotten to the point where am to upload my documents. Pls am in dire need of your help cus i dont know which one is the[application form, work sample, cv, motivation letter, language certificate, study testimony, report card, activity report] pls help. looking forward to your reply I'm not sure I get what you mean, but are you asking what the documents (@bolded) mean? If that's the case, I don't typically like to direct people to read the previous threads because it's rather bulky, but in your case you should. These are the most basic information you can find with hardly 30 minutes of research. Heck, 5 minutes of google search can clarify some. At the very least, I expect everyone to know what CV and motivation letter are. Then again I might have misunderstood you. |

Kleinefrau: I actually book an appointment for January because there was no appointment available for December as at that time...after checking again, I saw that appointment is available for December, so I want to cancel the January and book for December. How long will I be able to rebook..I don't want to loose at both ends... But I will be glad if I can reschedule for December You can cancel and rebook whenever, as long as there's available date. The only condition is that you must cancel at least 1 week before your booked date, if not you will face temporary suspension. So if your date is January you're good. Go ahead, cancel and rebook. |

3. What documents can stand as biographically old document? Can I use my old passport?
4. What is this prepaid courier envelop and what should one know about it? |

How does the embassy expect us to meet up with the interview dates? A lot of schools have their application deadlines in January. The program I'm applying to at Kiel has deadline for January 15. How would it work out? Do German schools do rolling admission?
Will the embassy provide more interview dates eventually? |

Tooo many schools offer IT related MSc. courses in English. Like waaaaay too many. Like 70% of schools with science related departments. If only you'll take some time to research, you wouldn't have to ask. Go to www.daad.de and do the needful. If you can't find your way around the website/internet then IT probably isn't for you. |

hadassaheke: It depends on the bank... Thanks for the feedback. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both Banks? Also how long after you land in Germany does it take one typically to get access to the fund in blocked account? If not immediately, then how much is advisable to take with you to Germany. I heard that you typically have to pay first and last month rent when you Land. Is there any way to faster access the blocked account for this purpose? @donkafor your opinion would also be helpful. |
