Has anyone here done certification in Abuja?
Which court did you use?

Jigba:
I think that's false
Nope, he's right.
If you're applying by uploading documents online you need to scan and upload a scan of the original. Certification is usually to prove that it is the same as the original, so it would hardly make sense to request you scan the certified copy when you can scan the original instead.

Unless otherwise stated, certified is only demanded when you're mailing physical copies of the documents.

Hello house, I got an admission to a school with tuition fees of €700 monthly,

For my blocked account would the €8640 be enough or would the embassy require my tuition fee? If so, how much tuition fee should i show?
Note; the school didnt ask for a year payment just said i should pay a part of the 700 euros.
Thanks guys
Anyone with info, answer to this would be helpful.

1) Its possible...check the upload section of uni assist application page. What you need to do is just upload the toefl result for the designated university. It won't be considered for other applications.
I don't get, is it that I don't have to send physical copy of TOEFL score or that when creating application for a program I have to electronically upload the documents I want that program to consider?

Also do I have to certify TOEFL or I can just upload scanned copy to uni-assist?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Blackanada(m): 10:22pm On Oct 21, 2017
Hello house, please I have 3 questions

1. If I am applying to multiple schools through uni-assist, and I want to use my TOEFL score for only specific schools is it possible? My TOEFL scores is less than the requirement of one school I am applying to but they accept statement from my university that I studied in English but the other schools I am applying to require TOEFL.

2. Does uni-assist accept certification by High Court?

3. Does the German embassy in Abuja do certifications?

@Blackanada,

You can use DHL for 11,500 with student discount.

Remember to ask them for student discount.

You can also team up with other students and share the 11,500. I did this like twice. grin grin grin

No disadvantage in using High Court for certification but try to check your school requirement as some schools don't accept certifications without seal as mere rubber stamp is not sufficient.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot.. thats really helpful!
Two last questions if I may.
1. Is there any disadvantage with magistrate/high court certification?

2. I want to request ETS to forward my toefl. Their website says to allow 4-6 weeks for physical copies of scores to get to designated institutions. This is a bit too long. But I believe that if they send the scores electronically it is instantaneous. Do you have an idea how ETS forwards toefl scores to uni-assist and/or how long it takes to get to them? I already mailed uni-assist with regards to this inquiry but yet to get a feedback.

Please do you have any idea what mailing services are best to mail documents to uni-assist and the cost incurred?

On the embassy's document requirements they mentioned primary school certificate. Is this mandatory? What if you don't have this?

Hello guys, please those who have traveled with Turkish Airlines recently or have any information, is it true that they don't allow you board if you don't have a return ticket, I am booked to fly on Saturday and I have just a one-way ticket. Should I be expecting any surprises?
I'm not certain, but please keep me updated. I would like to know too.

Can't you get a testimonial from your school? Or original result from WAEC office?

For name, it's nothing but an affidavit of 1k will solve everything.
Thank you for your reply.
About the name I'll get an affidavit.
So testimonial is accepted in place of an original waec?

I NEED ADVICE

Blackanada:
Hello house,

When applying for visa for masters, is the original waec result a must? I don't have my original waec certificate due to some complications by my secondary school.
But the result is available online and I can get a scratch card.

Also my name on my (online) waec result is Ebuka, but in my passport is Chukwuebuka. Is this a problem?

I will advice you to use form A, just go to your bank and ask for the requirements
Isnt form A only used for tuition payment and don't you need tuition fee invoice for that?

Can you use it to transfer to your own blocked account?

Yes. I applied to Saarland and TUM last year and got admitted to both. Though I had defer the admission to this year, but I only deferred that of TUM as that is my preferred choice.

How do people fund their blocked account considering all the recent problems with the Nigerian banking system?

I was thinking A-form, but that's mainly for tuition fees and you'll need a school's tuition invoice and the payment can only be made to institutional bank accounts.

So how can one transfer money to his own blocked account?

@Olanrewaju92 your informed perspective will be helpful.
