nemesis4u: U ask me for reputable source and authenticity when u urself gave a link from social media.
I have seen here utube , Facebook , blogs etc r accepted as gospel truth . Actually that's not just some any social media page. It's a new channel based in India. Anyways get these books
CHITAI CHARITRA written 1480AD PADMAVAT written 1540AD Those books are of legendary narrative. And 'padmaavat' a poetry by Malik Muhammad jayasi [s] Interestingly it has been confirmed that jauhar ie mass suicide by womenflock took place to save their honour after their menfolk were killed in battle.[/s]
It is in the history books taught to students in India.
Nobody doubted it till date untill this film came out , and then every liberal feminist leftist fundamentalist were falling over themselves to have their moment of glory. What is the name of the history books and the historian to wrote it. The misrepresentation favours the fundamentalist Muslims/liberals/ leftists , Muslims were invaders , inhuman , they destroyed almost everything India stood for, the world's biggest library of its time was in India where knowledge from all over the world was stored but it was Burned down , add to it millions of Indians killed. One can write an encyclopaedia on the atrocities committed. So then there is religious group in the murk of the thing. But what is the particular misinterpretation and who are these people protesting? |

nemesis4u: That is a true incident ,
And the film is loosely based on it.
And there was no religious protests , it was protest against alleged misrepresentation of historical facts and alleged bad portrayal of rajputs. Please can you provide a reputable source from where you learn that queen Padmaavati actually really existed in any time or age? What are these historical facts that were misinterpreted? Who does the misinterpretation supposedly favor? I hope I don't have tell you that the so called Padmaavati was a Hindu queen and Sultan Alaudjin was a Muslim. Ishilove: Tarantino's movies are often very graphic in language and depictions of violence. They lay bare the very soul of mankind, which is very startling, to say the least. His exploration of race relations is often very brutally frank.
Watch 'Hateful Eight'. That movie made me his fan for life 'Aesthetisation of violence '- Wikipedia on Tarantino. Lol  . Thanks for this recommendation. I will try to watch it asap. The disaster artist 9.0/10 ;
25 minute into this movie far enough it seem worthy. Personally, I was the movie was speaking to me, like reaching out grabbing me and telling me things. No wonder I'm being a little sentimental rating it.
I think you should watch it. |

hindidubbed: I am watching Padmaavat (2018)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padmaavat
Set in medieval Rajasthan, Queen Padmavati is married to a noble king and they live in a prosperous fortress with their subjects until an ambitious Sultan hears of Padmavati's beauty and forms an obsessive love for the Queen of Mewar. This is the movie some Indian religious fanatics were protesting on. It's was a fiction from a poet. Tonight perhaps. |

Ishilove: I doubt the bolded will have that effect on me . I have never found Charlie Chaplin funny. The humour is too exaggerated for my taste I guess the exaggeration has to do with his time. Then, almost all Comedy were like that and Charles was it king. Try Monsieur Verdoux and Lime light, both by Charlie Chaplin. They are not a typical Chaplin Comedy but, they are good movies. I'm presently looking for where I can download 'Duck soup, not the meals , it a comedy by the like of Charlie Chaplin albeit with speaking, really witty speaking. |

BlackManta: Black Panther 6/10
This movie is so overated.
I was decieved by the hype.
I'm not saying it's a bad movie.
It's very entertaining and fun.
But it was flawed in some aspects and it left a sour taste in my mind.
The only reason critics gave this movie 97% on Rotten Tomatoes is because of the "Black Lives Matter" campaign going on.
And for a movie set in Africa with 90% of the actors being black. This movie means a lot to Africa and black people and no critic would want to be called a racist.
Same thing they did to Wonder Woman. Gave it highly positive review and 90+ on Rotten Tomatoes just to please the feminism crusade going on in the world and avoid the label of "misogynist".
Tbh, Black Panther is overated but it was entertaining even though it had it's flaws.
I wouldn't want to discourage anybody from going to cinema.
If you have money go see the movie.
If you wont do it for yourself, do it because you are African and this movie has that African representation that has been missing in Hollywood.
Overall
Black Panther 6/10. It is safe to download it then, than seeing it in the Cinema Glad I didn't go yesterday.

ScienceWatch: Watching horror movies can gives the devil a foothold in your life. We must guard ourselves from opening doorways to the devil all the time because the devil is constantly looking for weak people to attack
(1 Peter 5: . If you open doorway to the devil, there will be a gap in your life that allow the devil to come in and attack you.The devil can jump on the viewer and possess him through the horror characters in the movies. It can produce bad influence on the viewer. The negative content from the movie can cause the person to become evil and violent. It can impose all kinds of negative influences in the person including hatred, violence, fear and etc.
It instills fear and anxiety in the viewer, which is not from God. As the children of God, we should not fear anything except the Lord. God gives us a spirit of power, love and self-discipline, not a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Any other fear comes from the devil. The Holy Spirit, which we receive as a seal of the sonship, gives us peace in our hearts (Romans 8:15).
Some people become fascinated with witchcraft in movies and practice it after watching the movies. Practicing witchcraft is a sin (Galatians 5:19 - 21). We should also abstain ourselves from watching movies that are associated with witchcraft. We must honor God in all that we do (Colossians 3:17). Watching horror movies will not increase your spiritual life so you should not watch them. Watching these movies can lead us away from God.
Instead of watching horror movies, we should watch movies that can help us to learn more about God. We should avoid reading horror genre books as well.

donbenie: It's true having Cancer is one of the risks of being alive..but smoking has been strongly linked to Lung Cancer like no other aetiology to any other Cancer and perhaps I should have rephrase my statement..Lung cancer is the commonest cause of cancer deaths in the world..more than the number of the next two culprits combined.. I don't think this man nor any other Smoker victim of lung cancer will take any solace in risk statistics in men, especially when he knows he could have at least reduced his chances of being in his situation by avoiding cigarettes.. Not trying to be insensitive to his plight..sh*t happens but it does not mean we shouldn't live responsibly.. The risks associated with dying one can't be too careful living. |
Health › Re: Dangers Of Excessive Smoking, A Victim You Should See by blackjack21(m): 12:07pm On Feb 15, 2018 |
donbenie: Smoking is the number ONE cause of Lung Cancer, the most deadly of all Cancers in the world..and it seems the man has two primary Cancers at the same time..double Wahala.. Yes, though it's actually smoking tobacco, and apart from lung cancer you still have about 8 other El cancers that are on the list of the deadliest.
Chance that one would develop cancer is 50% for Men and, 25% for females. To decrease that number to zero you may have to stop breathing.
Something must kill a man, right ? |
