Hello guys, I've something I really want know.

I'm a Hausa guy, but I'm grew up here in Lagos and a large percentage of the people I know and hang out with are not northerners, I even speak Yoruba like kilode. grin

Due to the nature of my job I've come to meet different people from all over the world, most people I've met, especially Nigerians, after a short conversation their question would be "are you a Nigerian? " angry
3 in every 5 strangers I speak with would ask me that question. Even today I got ask if I'm a Nigerian.

I noticed that it's only after people hear me speak English that they get curious.
So my question is: how do we, Hausa people, sounds when we speak English?
Or is this particularly to me alone.
And I'm curious if I sound wired or cool cool

Human resources, security boss?
This is very shameful. They are the ones who are to guard again such attitude. And worse they're stealing and selling it out, and yet collect their salary at the month's end.

Very shameful!

After the 2nd WW. US formed the UN security council comprising of US, UK, Russia, France, China and/ Germany of recent. These are the only 5 most powerful countries on earth that have NW. Again these nations are the most economically powerful nations on earth. You can't be an economically impoverished nation and want to control Nuclear weapons, it is not done. NK cannot handle such WMD without using it to bully/attack SK and other nations in that region.

Yet a generational cunt like you like you would scream blue murder if Christians were to replace that same inscription to Hebrew or change that same word from Allah to Jehovah. Don't come here with your fish brain to give some crappy nonsense arguments. Arabic is an heavily islamised language or what can your deteriorating brain reason as motivation for putting an inscription that half the country does not understand on the national currency which language is not native nor colonial. Even a fool should know that the inscription was placed on religious motivations and not because some Nigerians just fancy Arabic.
You're oblivious

Secondly, saying Muslims have the right to islamise Nigeria is just unacceptable. Especially coming from a bishop. No one has ever challenged the right of Muslims to advance the cause of Islam. All we are saying is that you cannot use political power to advance the cause of Islam. A situation where we have a currency with Islamic inscription in a supposed secular state is just senseless and ridiculous..

i hope you know what proverbs 26 said about your like: Just as snow should not fall in summer, nor rain at harvest time, so people should not honor a fool.

Hmmmmmm..... If your son is being bullied in school and you always show up to fight his classmate who is the bully, even till he's in SS3........... Think about the kind of parent you are.

If you as a man will encourage your son to stand up for himself, take his knocks and be a man, how much more God in whose image you are made?

Just look at a human parent doing right by his or her child, you will understand God, at least a bit. With His help, you can know Him better.

supersystemsnig:
The challenge with falling in love is remaining in it. The human heart easily gets swayed. Takes maturity to have a mind fixated on a person and keep it there, there are too many alternatives and an undisciplined fellow, male, or female will keep jumping form one party to the next if one doesn't master his/herself.....Relationships is more about mastering one's self than any other thing
Love is a social construct. Does not exist.

I just shake my head whenever I read about people cursing their MIL or not wishing 4 one.

My mother in law and I are going to be close, I will love that woman plenty. I've always wanted a second mother, besides MIL are cool depends on how you treat their son, wife and their family members. They will find it hard to dislike u if everyone like u

I mean this is a woman that must have sacrificed for her son.
Nice one.

The rule is written, try wanting an audience wit the Emir whilst waering it, though theres alittle waiver during mounted celebrations.

Yea u can use one ear or no ear during mounted events, but Kano royal House and Noble Houses use two ears and no ears.

But thats not correct, you cant out shine the Emir no matter how hard you try because "Kowa yayi hawa Sarki ya taya" (Whoever mount a horse mounts it for the King).

Ibro was unmounted because he has no official title, u can only mount and gather your own followers if you hv an official title if not you and your followers most be under the command/wings of an official title holder.

Baaballiyo:
Well I dont think people jst choose the style they want, you choose based on your status, (atleast this true for the Emirates I listed above). The one without two ear are the common one which evry1 can use, the one with one ear is not all that popular and its a recent invention by Late Sardauna (Ahmadu Bello) (Or may be he was the one that popularised it), this style is mostly called "Sardauna"
You are right about that. But I have worn 1ear at hawan panisau, Kano, that was a long time ago, yet, I don't have close relationship with royals And nobody said nothing. It's just an unwritten rules.

Though it can consequences if you outshine the master.
Do you know that the legendary Ibro(the actor) was once unmounted and prevented from coming to durbar because he gathered more or as much attention as the king, Ado bayero?
