abbakacici: Thank you only slowpoke will believe that state police will not lead to the bloody civil war in Nigeria. Because you hate and distrust etc order so much for an accused Igbo or tiv to feel safe in sokoto if all the police, judges, prosecutors Are 100% Hausa Muslim probably using sharia law Please don’t mind those people, because of their laziness and hatred for the president, is their main reason for the shout of restructuring, what does Adamawa state add to Nigeria’s GDP?does anyone really believe atiku would twitch Nigeria if he wins so that Adamawa state stops collecting federal allocation? |

Ttipsy: balanced approach I understand. but those States that can't function without FG will learn to change momentum and sit up for progress. Economically they can overtake Abuja the capital.
Take a look at India again, I used USA for vivid explanation. thanks Those countries you mentioned the people are innovative and want to work, sorry to say the black man is the laziest specimen created by God,nobody is changing any system in Nigeria,we had a regional system your forefathers changed it to a Federal system, now the ignorant children want to go back, life doesn’t work like that, you make the best of what you have, concentration of power in the center doesn’t stop a state from prospering, the states are yet to show us what they have done with free monies received for over 40 years? |

servercodes001: No!!!!!
1) states like bayelsa that receive over 800% more grant than most populous kano have NOTHING to of development, why? The leaders are stealing the money 2)enormous corruption and looting 3)excessive tribalism and nepotism 4)uneven development across the country 5)poor leadership in each state 6)long period of time before states get their acts together 7)most states have NOTHING to depend on 8. )no federal grant means states like jigawa, nasarawa, kwara etc cannot afford to pay their civil servants 9)it takes decades to build an economy which means all the states must go back to the 19th century 10) there will be war and chaos 11) with the current living hardship no state can bear economic building 12) states controlling their resources means enormous theft, all the thieves in each state will have access to state treasury and they'll surely empty
Blame the white people that amalgamated this country Most States will be scrapped they were only created by the military because their whole existence is based on revenue from Abuja. |

Somebody that said God will punish him if he ever support Atiku Abubakar presidential ambition for the sake of Nigeria, that if he doesn't know what Atiku did is a different thing. The God that he invoked, will definitely punish him this time around. He has dared Obasanjo to go before their shrine in Ogun State, which one? eduj: 20000mw by 2025 is possible! their are still 2 NIPP projects waiting for their turbines to be installed.Alaoji, afam, omatosho most of our gas power plants and even the kanji mostly operate at half their installed capacity.other projects like the aba ipp,oma power etc where shot down because of lack of finance.Technology has progressed to such a level that, offshore wind farms and solar farms can be easily employed in few years. The power problem in Nigeria power sector,is that its privatisation has been left redundant. The big hitters like shell,GE etc should be left to not only control the power plants, but to also build infrastructure for distributing generated power-making away with the fed transcos and discos.Selling majority of the NNPC to say shell, total etc would actually help our economy .It would result in its being as effective as NLNG (only God knows what it would have been like if it was fed controlled). For a government that touted "change" as their motto, they are doing nothing to change things in some important sectors. No electricity for you people in Nigeria until you are ready to pay international market prices, same goes for refined petroleum products,General electric should come and invest $16 billion in Nigeria so you will be paying 7000 Naira a month (20 dollars)? keep dreaming dreamer if you live to learn you will be lucky one day.
