Ddaji: Can you tell me one area this clueless government is supporting farmers. For the first time after return of democracy farmers brought fertilizer at N10000 to N12,000 because of non government subsidies on fertilizer. The guy is right buhari's support is only on the newspapers.let me remind you I am Buhari supporter but let us tell ourselves the truth this government is clueless. What is the purpose of billions if naira spent in buildings grains salons across the nations. A proactive government suppose to buy the surplus and keep. You know u can make useful suggestions and even criticise constructively without insulting the person you claim to support. First of all there is no point in nigeria's democracy that fertilizer was cheap for farmers. It was only cheap on the pages of newspaper but we had cabals running the show behinde the scenes. Your statements are illogical cos if it is true that farmers didnt get any support from govt, then how were they able to produce so much?? So much as to meet international exporting standards?? And more importantly, if u read the post before jumping to comment u will see that govt is already putting action in place to avert the shortage. So why come here to make noise and insult the person u claim to support Tell yourself the truth: you are a typical wailer and nothing govt does will ever be good in your eyes. |

bejeiodus: This does not obviate the need for the President to speak to Nigerians about what is being done to lift the country out of the current economic crisis. That is not for the President to say. I believe the Finance minister and cbn have been on air severally to address such issues. The President has already told nigerians his policy direction, how to achieve the policy is the job of the experts he employed. And I believe you are aware of ministry of finance agenda to mop up funds, cut recurrent expenditure and invest in infrastructure. U must not hear it from Buhari's mouth |

Firefire: Free Market.
How do you expect me to invest so much in my farm without any government input or intervention and be compel to sell locally?
Farmers are free to sell their produce in any market where they can maximize their profit.
Buhary administration is only supporting Farmers on the pages on newspapers and media.
A Case Study of the collapsed Shonga Farm project of Bukola Saraki in Kwara State... If Buhari is only supporting farmers on the pages of newspaper then how are they able to produce so much that they can export And if u dont sell your crops locally because u want quick cash, you will still end up spending all that cash when the cost of goods and service skyrocket. Its simple logic. Money is good, but not at the expense of your country! |
Politics › Re: Disillusioned Citizens And A Reticent President. by blackpanda: 6:02am On Nov 15, 2016 |
It is not just Buhari thats the problem but rather we as Nigerians play a huge part in our economic woes, especially the upper class. I was in a supermarket yesterday and a gentleman was paying for some groceries he bought. The total cost amounted to 75k. When I looked at what he was buying I just shook my head in dismay. Everything was imported and they were not even up to 10 items! Why will u go and buy cereal for 4k when u have golden morn, nasco cornflakes etc thats less than 1k?? And yet you turn around to say Buhari is the one spoiling the economy Its just sad. I dont think we realise the deepp shit we are in yet. |

Fayose is like trump with zero ideas, zero policy and absolutely nothing to offer the citizens. Their only aim is to win election anyway possible, just for the sake of winning and enriching their pocket!
Serious Governors like Obiano dont have time to be throwing tantrums, making noise and buying kpomo. They are too busy looking for ways to improve the lives of their people |

Though I disagree to some extent
I love your submission at least it will open the eyes of my brothers that without the afonja there is still hope for us in Nigeria.
Keep dreaming! Nobody is yearning for an Igbo President. Nigerians will only support a candidate that can be President of Nigeria, not President of Igboland. We need a nationalist, not a bigot. Unfortunately, igbos have a way of pulling each other down when it comes to elections. Plus all this story of "Biafral will make it almost impossible for the rest of the country to trust an igbo man to deliver without prejudice. Until we see an honest detribalized igbo man, igbo's chances of will President is zilt! |

Unfortunately, that is the tale of Nigeria. It is a tale of poor governance, insecurity and poverty in the midst of plenty. comes losophy on the premise that he does not want the poor to suffer. I can relate to that, a leader must not allow the poor to suffer, especially a leader who knows that most of his votes came not from the elite but from the poor.” your Messiah what have he dine so far to tackle the problem currently facing the country, buhari will never provide solutions to our predicament rather he will worsen it with his bad economic plans... we will never get it right until we stop voting on ethnic and religious lines, majority of zombies has admitted their mistakes for voting this dullard while some are ashamed to accept that buhari is incompetent and clueless |
