I quite agree with you. We all are highly hypocritical. Any society that the head/leadership is corrupt don't expect those below to be saint. It's just as simple as ABC, none of the political candidates are saint but we all know in our inner most hearts the one that is willing to effect a positive change but tribalism/religious sentiments won't let men think properly. In my opinion they should scrap all religious centres in the country, it's of no use in terms of shaping one's morality. After the civil war has there been any sincere reconciliation among all tribes directly/indirectly involved in the war? The mindset of this present youths is already polluted by hatred. How can a full grown adult of 18years be misled? If not done deliberately out of religious and tribal sentiments. Now most of them have started campaigning for funny characters to continue from where the others stopped. The youths in Sri Lanka during this year effected a regime change in their country. Las las it's all man that will bear the consequences of bad choices during election. Guy you guys need to explore other developed countries and you will find out we are just pure mumu. A politician will use our collective wealth and build substandard infrastructures and guys will be hailing them. No be JuJu be that? Your comment is quite interesting. The problem is that in as much as u try to sound objective, you are already biased. Who told u that most youth feel misled to vote apc Where did u get that information? All you are doing is rehashing partisan politics and tribal bias. You can't blame anybody for voting their preferred candidate, its a personal choice. Same way you also love your own candidate for your own personal reasons. Moreover, apc is not the problem of Nigeria. The problem of Nigeria is a mass abandonment of good morals, greed and selfishness. No matter who wins presidential elections, the story will not change. All the ministers or political appointees will still face their personal interests over the national interest.


It's also interesting how the standards we try to hold out for presidential candidates is not replicated in the states. How many of you vote for councillors, LGA chairmen and governor's, based on competence or experience You love to hold out these high standards for the center, but when it comes to your own domain, you are very happy to be tribalistic and religious. For someone to win he must be from a particular area, tribe , religion etc. Hypocrisy is our problem.
