Humanoid01:
The answer is pretty simple: most people only treat others kindly when they are good looking. Unfortunately, it's man's nature to only place value on things that appear pleasant. Only 1 in 20 persons will see things differently and not be fazed by looks.

OP, my advice: don't force yourself to look a certain way because of people. They'll gain so much power over you. No need to paint your face to make people like you. Try to look natural and don't give a damn how people react. If you feel the need to wear a make up, do that moderately. The world is dominated by fake people who only stick around when the going is smooth, but there are few real people and they'll come around, trust me.
True tho cool

Okay, so going back: PEOPLE TEND TO TREAT US DIFFERENTLY WITHOUT MAKEUP OR DRESSING HALF NAKED .This is quite frustrating, because we should be lifting up each other, but I dunno. Btw, NOT everyone,Just most strangers.

• When I'm wearing make up, random girls would say the most sincere ‘sorry‘ when we accidentally bumped into each other on the hallway, even when it’s my fault, but without it, even if they have hurt me so hard, they don't say 'sorry', most would just look at me then walk away.

•most times we easily get noticed and lots of attention when wearing makeup or dressed half naked..these are the times we even get a lot of opportunities than just being normal.

• While shopping, when I'm wearing make up, they'd happily accompany me, ask me what do I like, the size, color, etc. But, when I'm just my normal face, they don't even greet me when I enter the shop.

• Also in a convenience store. One time, I went there looking fine for an event I will attend afterwards, they were very cheerful and polite. But, when I went there, just woke up and bought some ramyeon, they just looked at me and just continued talking to each other.

There are other more instances but slightly similar to those above. But, salesmen are always polite if I look fine or not fine, male strangers would still open doors for me, so yeah… Do people treat me differently with and without make up? YES.

Shut down universities for 2-5 years? .. What should students be doing within that period? It's obvious ASUU and FG have no interest of the students at heart. Each man for himself, God for us all!

Why will FG sign an agreement and refuse to honour it?? What a country!

Education / ASUU Strike May Continue For Years. by Blackpearlxx(f): 8:57pm On Nov 06, 2020
By Shina Abubakar

The Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), Akure Zone has disclosed that the industrial action embarked upon by the union may last years if the Federal Government refuses to honour its agreement with the union holistically.

This is as the union disclosed that the FG resumed negotiation with the union out of jittery of the #EndSARS protest embarked upon by the youths across the country.

Addressing a Press Conference at ASUU Secretariat inside Obafemi Awolowo University Campus on Friday, the Coordinator ASUU, Akure Zone, Professor Olu Olufayo said the union, unlike in the past, has resolved to remain on strike until the FG reaches concrete terms with respect to implementing the 2009 agreement, the Memorandum of Understanding in 2013 and the Memorandum of Actions signed in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

He stated that the federal government’s narrative that the union was on strike because of its rejection of IPPIS is an attempt to blackmail it, saying the union resumed strike over eleven (11) years old crisis bordering on funding for revitalisation of public universities, payment of backlog of earned allowances owed its members and renegotiation of 2009 FG/ASUU agreement.

Prof. Olufayo who was flanked by Chairmen of ASUU of Federal University of Technology, Akure, Dr Olayinka Awopetu, Obafemi Awolowo University, Dr Adeola Egbedokun, Ekiti State ll, Dr Kayode Arogundade and Federal University, Oye, Dr Gabriel Omonijo, said the should declare emergency in the education sector and shut public universities for a period within which the goverment should put things in order for proper training, research and community development

Also, the union leader stated that the body is surprised that the federal government is calling it back to the round table for negotiation during the #EndSARS protest, having neglected it during the six months of the pandemic that forced the closure of schools across the country.

“It is unfortunate that the government in the country does not care the quality of education available for the children of ordinary Nigerians since their children schooled abroad, hence, their refusal to honour the various agreement reached with ASUU for almost eleven years. We have also resolved to remain on strike for as long as possible to ensure that the FG commit to the agreement and take concrete steps towards ensuring quality public university education in the country.

We have told the FG to declare a state of emergency in the education sector, shut the schools for two or even five years within which it can fix the problem in the sector and ensure quality education in the country.

As you are all aware, our Union declared a total, comprehensive and indefinite strike action in March this year. The action was declared to get the Federal Government to fulfil its obligations by implementing the agreement it reached with the Union in 2009, the memorandum of Understanding in 2013, the memorandum of Action in 2017 and the memorandum of Action in 2019. it is quite unfortunate that despite the diversity and luxuriant academia we are blessed with in the country, the government seems interested in education.

We have consistently drawn the attention of the government and the general public to the rot in the public University system and our spirited efforts at alleviating such to re-position the educational sector in the country for national development. Our efforts have been constantly frustrated by the federal government and thus putting our students at the university

“It is no longer news that students are terribly crowded in the lecture rooms and hostels, and public universities do not have adequate facilities to execute their mandate religiously. We are almost always subjected to resulting to painful strike actions to commit the Nigerian government to act in this regard.

Lol i remember years back when i was ill, I went to the hospital.

My body was so hot and the doctor recommended i take a cold shower before proceeding with treatment.

A Nurse escorted me to the shower as i was taking my bath the Nurse took off her clothes and joined me in the shower was kissing me and rubbing my diick.

I was so weak I was just looking at her(was in my teens then really didn't even understand what she was doing then), when she noticed I was not responding to her touches she then left me alone.

100% true life story happened to me in teens as people are already quoting me as lair.

Winisoso:
Good day everyone..please I know some of you would rain insults on me, I just really need your advice.

My boyfriend invited me over from my state to his..we’ve been dating since 2018 but went off in between because he finished his nysc and claimed he wanted to look for something to do with his life since I was still a student. He actually schooled in my state then after moved to his own state.

Fast forward...July this year he called and said I should come over that he got a place already as he didn’t want me to come see him at where he was before because he was with his guys.I came over things where good,by august he told me to plan a trip for us to Lagos for a week that he wanted to get business updates,I agreed...few days later he told me not to go with him again that he would go alone that he didn’t have much to spend..I agreed.the day he was leaving for Lagos I left to my own state.

Fast forward...September he called me and told me he was back..and he misses me and wants me to come around I agreed...came to him semptember 7..and our lives continued..along the line I found out he just went to Lagos to have fun with his friends and to cheat also I was very scared he might have had unprotected sex .I confronted him he apologized and cried and said he used protection.I was very angry and had wanted to go back to my state when few days later I found out I was pregnant.

Did a strip test..and went to the hospital too...told him about it and ever since he has been acting up..he leaves me in the house sometimes for a week without food and water..comes back whenever he likes..recently he came back,I went through his phone and found out he left the house just to go and sleep around in hotels and he infected a girl.we argued throughout the night and went to the hospital the next morning and found out he has syphillis.

The doctor placed us both on drugs ..since I don’t have it..the doctor just placed me on drugs to prevent it and now he left the house again...I don’t know what to do..he took all his documents and valuables and left me in the house..I called him and told him I was going to involve the police and sell his properties he said he didn’t care that he was going to travel out.I don’t know what to do as I don’t know anyone in this state. Just his younger brother that stays in the house.
maybe you should inform the authorities
