ttmacoy: If his plan is to continue the jobs he currently does, those hourly rates will not go far in Canada and is pretty much minimum wage if not lower.
If he decides to go to Canada he should be ready to find other better paying jobs or focus on cheaper countries where the pay will be worth more.
You are right! I think this is where his certificate degree comes in handy. |

Mcslize: Why are you doubting the OP? There is money online. Just follow the right people. A guy has been grateful to me just because I showed him the way. He always greet me good morning sir, good afternoon sir, my oga whenever he sees me. He said if not for me, he doesn't know how he would have been surviving. I directed all that to God Almighty. It's not for me to receive any praise of that nature.
What am I saying? There is money online. Loads of it. It's even better when one earns in hard currency due to the depreciating value of the Naira.
$120k is not too big money to doubt someone of. There is a crypto coin I bought this year. I bought over 100,000 coins of the coin this year to hold for the next 5yrs. If that coin gets to $1 per coin, I automatically have 100k dolls. And if I come out and say I have such amount of money, will you believe me?
People make money through different ways. But the poverty in the country won't let many believe such figures but that's the true reality of things. Boss can you make suggestions on some online jobs for this sister, I really need it please. |

queenfav: Life abroad isn't easy or all roses as many dream it to be.Anyone relocating should be mindful of that fact.Prepare to put shame aside and do jobs you would not even dream of doing back home in Nigeria.
The shock for many who left expecting paradise and soft life is even more, when they land and they can't get a decent job.Pictures like this are key,so that people are reminded to make plans on how they will earn a living before they relocate. If not the person will end up being depressed and may at some point start to regret leaving Nigeria Let's look at it from this aspect... It is only an unplanned fool will travel out only to regret it. Traveling out to developed countries, you must have learnt a skill or a graduate so that you don't end up as a liability who promote crime in their countries. Other means could be as a student. Some of this people, perhaps... do not have any learnt skills and you saying *"shameful jobs they wouldn't do in Nigeria"?* Perhaps you need to stroll the often. People are ready to do any job you call "shameful" as long as it provide ends means. The advice should be... *"Before anybody decides travel abroad, he/she make sure he has a learned skill or certificate to be productive and also make proper preparation, He who fails to plan, Plan to Fail".* |

Ibime2003: Good day fellow Nairalanders, which country can i relocate to with my wife and two little kids. I am 36 years old?
I currently work remotely with two foreign organisation as an online customer service personnel earning 10 and 12usd/hour respectively, I am also a full time cryptocurrency trader and also involved in some cryptocurrency projects @ the moment.
I use to have a mindset that instead of going to America for economic reasons, let that America come and meet me here in Nigeria and that's what i use to work towards through out my life. But with the anarchy and insecurity being experienced in Nigeria currently, i am seriously thinking about relocating to another country with my family.
I love Nigeria and I never thought of relocating, but it's obvious Nigeria didn't love me in return. I have a little above 120k usd savings, if i dispose all my real estate investment in Nigeria,i ll be able to have more liquid cash @ my disposal.
I intend to continue with all the job i stated above in any country i relocate to, I don't have any reason to be looking for job up and down and i don't have any plan of going to school, even the degree i have here in Nigeria, i never for once use it to apply for job. The financial capacity to move the four of us @ once will be the least of my worries. I don't want just mere suggestions of countries i can relocate to, I want something practicable and realistic especially from those who already have experience. When you mention countries i can relocate to, explain in details, how i will go about it because i have zero travelling experience. Lalasticlala, i will appreciate if you can help me move this to the front page, i need all the help i can get on this thread. Good evening. I for once would suggest Canada, you can check the Canadian thread for more info. I suggested that place since you are a family man and you already have a work so you won't be struggle for job when you get there. I think it will be a good environment for your family. I suggestion is based on their not too populous population which I feel is great and the climate. I hope nobody would come for me because this is a mere suggestion based on personal research and also because of your reasons for leaving Nigeria. |

FABROTech: Well I am a digital content creator. I make most of my cash from YouTube. Small percentage from blogging and very little from fiverr.
The YouTube thing is not a get rich quick thing, I have.been doing it for a while.
Many young Nigerians (who are NOT celebrities or comedians) are making serious money from YouTube currently and believe me anyone can do it.
It may look impossible at first and many quit without even getting to monetization. For them that persevere, once the cash starts flowing, it grows much faster. Thank you for the info. I actually have plans for YouTube but that might be in the future. On Fiverr, did you make any payment while registering? And do you know more online site with job opportunities? I am familiar with transcription, the payment seems fair but I want more. |

FABROTech: Am planning to relocate to Dubai.
Am in talks with a Dubai based company to help me get a Freelannce permit from the Sharjah Media City Free Zone. The package is to come with a 3 Years UAE Resident Visa which I can use to move with my wife and 2 kids.
The package is to cost about AED 16,350.
Has anyone used this means or you have any advice to give?
Note: I don't intend to work for anyone as I do some freelance online jobs and I earn over $5k monthly. God willing I hope to continue to improve in what I do and earn more money.
I intend to relocate cos am not finding the security situation in Nigeria funny anymore. Am always having dreams about chaos and war in Nigeria. Hello Good afternoon, I hope you don't mind my question since it piqued my curiosity. About the online jobs, can you shade more information about it, please... I am really interested in online jobs |

If that money he has is true let him contact a travel agent or just go to any embassy of his choice and get information.... Besides I wonder what gave him the balls to spill such net worth when we have alot of insecurity in Nigeria Perhaps he was wrong for spilling his net worth considering the naive and annoying people here can be in ignoring the main reason for the trend just to question his net worth but now that I think about it... Why do you sound pained bro? You couldn't give a fucking advise to him and this travel section is supposed to help those with zero traveling experience (perhaps this was what he thought before coming here), so tell me, what's your problem? DkJay: Nah, this is the first time I'm hearing about Flex Jobs.
People create PayPal accounts different ways today, some are working; some are not.
I paid about 30k for a certain information material last year detailing how to get a stress-less PayPal account.
It involves you registering a company in the U. S. through a law firm. As a bonus, you get a fully verified Stripe and PayPal account that won't give you any trouble. All perfectly legal.
You don't have to worry about phone number or address because it shows up on your profile as that of the company.
I haven't created mine yet, cos I wanna think carefully about the brand I'm creating. Secondly, it costs about $700 to set it up.
I'll be looking at it in the future.
If you spend about thirty minutes on Nairaland, you'll find some information that would help you create a PayPal account, I'm sure. Many thanks for the information. |

DkJay: It doesn't require money to register. But getting your account approved is stressful.
If you're paying anything, it's only for someone to put you through the process.
Upwork doesn't charge you for registering. They only take their cut after you start getting jobs. Oh that's good Are you familiar with flex Job? I actually applied for subscription Job Because they pay well between $15 - 25$ per hour. Although they are required procedures before giving the Job, my problem is Paypal I don't have a PayPal account and you know it has been banned in Nigeria? This country is really frustrating |

There's nothing glamorous about what I do. I'm good at writing, and I got better at it. I signed up for a course to break into the Upwork marketplace.
Some people get good jobs at once. I did mine for about five months with just two jobs inbetween (that's on Upwork; I worked with other outsourcers for the usual #1.5 to #2 per during that period). But the current client I have now pays well, and we're looking to make it even better. I know about upwork, it requires money to register, correct? If yes, how much? |

For the two weeks extension of Jamb, they will be writing their Jamb at a different. Don't just type "fake news" without verification. Some people might believe you and miss their chance to register. The difference is that for those to register for the two weeks extension, they're get a bank draft for #4000 in the bank (the bank will charge extra #600) and take it to Jamb quarter not CBT center oh!! And complete their registration. |

I'm a bit curious; how much did you make on a monthly basis while you were there?
Eleven years later, where are you now? What are the working conditions like for you currently?
As for my working experience, they've been mild to averagely good. For now, I work from home.
At some point, I plan to go out there and start a string of companies, but I'm not looking to work for anyone, no sir. Pardon me, you working from home, is it a transcription job? Please I am actually interested if you don't mind. I hope I didn't offend you in any way? I'm just a human seeking for an online decent job. |

This isn't one of those laws or constitution that demands the opinion of the parliament alone. You can't just wake up and make a decision for a population of over 200million people and expect them to keep quiet. When this isn't North Korea |
