I'm the OP. I read the news from beginning to end before posting it here. Whether the man hit her, slapped her or kicked, the ball point his that he killed the woman.
We care not how he killed her. We are after justice. He must die as well.

This is why I recommend thinking with your brain and not emotions.
The man should be punished alright, that's too low of him to have killed his wife, even though we shouldn't rule out the fact that it was an accident.

I don't know if to blame African culture for the wrong teachings given to females to fully depend on men "their husband or father" but I'm certain in this modern time of 21st century, the smart ones learn skills or go to school, to avoid being a liability to their family

The thing is that I had initially planned on writing LSAT exam with a plan of schooling in the USA but, I decided to go to Canada to make my chances easier. But I don't know if it is necessary I learn other skills.

No doubt, Canada is one of the best place to live in the world. Even though many Nigerian wish to be there, getting the Canadian visa can make the wish go south. The truth is getting Canadian visa is competitive, so many requirements to meet ( but it worth it sha). Now, since Canada government have seen that many immigrants are not willing to come to some unpopular cities in the country. They make requirements to those unpopular area less and create more opportunities in those area to attract Immigrants. The goodnews is that after working/studying for a while in those unpopular cities you can easily move to other popular cities like Ontario, Quebec, Atlanta etc.

It won't be enough! Even though the lost of living in the North is low, you can't rule out the fact that the cost of commodities is high/expensive

Since you intend to explore Nigeria, especially the North, you need to calculate the cost of accomodation, feeding and other necessities.

Just hold enough money to avoid looking for a job. Are you only exploring the North?

Ranging from the continuous increase in the price of commodities, the depreciation of the value of currency (are you aware that one thousand naira no longer has value? There was a time you could buy a lot of things with it but now, you can hardly buy anything with 1k)

Let's not forget insecurity as a result of Bandits, Kidnappers, Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, Corruption, ethnic bigotry. The list is endless
