Redman44:
We've suffered a painful loss. The Venezuelans are not going to go far in this tourney. Our boys just gave them the chance to express themselves. We played better in the second half and could have scored up to 5 goals. I'm not going to spare Siasia here. Though he's a good coach, his team was technically deficient in the first half. I knew the Venezuelans would score because of their constant forays into our box eighteen. We gave them too much space to pass and shoot the ball. Our defenders also looked timid. They need to gear up for the onslaught of the Spaniards. Here are my suggestions for Siasia:

1. The Flying Eagles need to beat Spain at all costs. We can do it if we tidy up our defence line and take the game to the Spaniards.
2. Talk to your strikers to stop wasting chances. Tell them to shoot from outside the box eighteen instead of dribbling into the goal area.
3. Let Gbolahan Salami start the next match as a striker.
4. Tell the boys not to be afraid of Spain.

Cheers.
Just wish it is that simple - we probably lift the senior world cup

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was
not in their bed.

She puts on her dressing gown and goes downstairs to look for him.
She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a hot cup of coffee in front of him. He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall.

She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip
of his coffee.

'What's the matter, dear?' she whispers as she steps into the room,
'Why are you down here at this time of night?'

The husband looks up from his coffee, 'I am just remembering
when we first met 20 years ago and started dating. You were only almost 16.
Do you remember back then?' he says solemnly.

The wife is touched to tears thinking that her husband is so
caring and so sensitive.

'Yes, I do' she replies.

The husband pauses. The words were not coming easily.

'Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car?'

'Yes, I remember!' said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside
him.

The husband continues. 'Do you remember when he shoved the shotgun in
my face and said, 'Either you marry my daughter, or I will make sure you're sent to jail for 20 years?'

'I remember that too' she replies softly.

He wipes another tear from his cheek and says,

'I would have been released today.'

Well Soludo is not a politician even though he as now delved into politics. He is first and foremost a trie, tested and proven technocrat. I really don't understand this pull him down attitude of Nigerians. Soludo is certainly one of the best brains in this country and we should actually be begging his likes to rule us.
He might have been one of the best brains but was corrupted to extent that he almost single handed ruined Nigeria. The man was a failure towards the end of the tenure

The South African courts convicted him on charges of sabotage, as well as other crimes committed while he led the movement against apartheid. In accordance with his conviction, Mandela served 27 years in prison, spending many of these years on Robben Island but  today black  south Africa are singing a new song
Please tell me how many people in Nigeria can compare to Mandela who  was determined and dedicated to the one cause of liberation.  Gani was the last man standing and he is gone to rest.

it is not going to happen in Nigeria.  The love of Money overrides everything else.  Until Igbo's stop splitting votes nobody is going to take them serious
