PoliticsPdp Bigwigs Decamp To Edo Acn, Laud Oshiomhole’s Achievements by blacksta(op): 8:25am On Aug 16, 2011
As the countdown to the 2012 gubernatorial election in Edo State begins, five bigwigs of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Etsako West Local Government Area have decamped to the Action Congress of Nigeria.

To pledge their loyalty to the leadership of ACN at the Government House in Benin-City were strong supporters and financiers of Zakawanu Garuba, former speaker of the State House of Assembly. The list of supporters also include Shati Mogaji, Suleiman Bello, Gari Usman, a retired Colonel, Abu Aliyu, PDP youth leader in Auchi and Prince Ikaro, United States-based ACN leader.

They said their decision to join ACN was based on the development strides of the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

According to Mogaji, “we have come to declare our support for the party because of what you are doing.

PDP - One big joke - Inviting US Officials to come and testify grin
PoliticsPdp’s Plot To Sack Ajimobi Suffers Setback by blacksta(op): 8:20am On Aug 16, 2011
IBADAN—THE hope of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State to get the election of Governor Abiola Ajimobi annulled dimmed yesterday as the state Election Petition Tribunal refused its plea to invite officials of the United States of America to testify whether Ajimobi is a US citizen or not.

The party, after it lost governorship election to the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, candidate, filed a petition against the governor, alleging dual citizenship.

However, the panel adjourned the case after Mr. Nathaniel Oke, SAN, counsel to the petitioner sought adjournment because of ill-health of the Secretary of the party, Mr. Bashiru Akanbi.

Giving reason for the refusal to grant the application for the invitation of the US embassy’s officials, Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Abdulkadir Mu’azu Pindiga explained that granting the prayer would be tantamount to ridiculing and undermining the judicial system in Nigeria.

According to him:“We must protect the integrity of our country and not subject the country to the whims and caprices of USA. There are other means by which the petitioner could pursue its case and get the desired result. The application is accordingly rejected because it is an exercise in futility and we lack the jurisdiction.”

coogar:
you are a pathological liar.
at one point in your life in nigeria, you must have bribed a policeman, nepa official, lastma official, teacher, exam invigilators, civil servant, messenger, etc. even if you didn't do it directly - somebody with your interest in mind must have done it on your behalf.

@ topic,
no individual can make it in nigeria without any form of wuruwuru.
in other countries, most nigerians will make it without wuruwuru but the moment nigeria comes to play, wuruwuru must prevail.
I agree 100% - Everybody are simply compromised

There is no money yet we are spending £12m on Ox who can't add much right now, while not making any moves to replace likely departures. It is criminal and nothing else to allow things to reach this stage.
Are you wiser than AW - Wenger's ideology is beyond comprehension - Dont worry OX will be sold in another 4 years time for £25 Mill - Arsenal aint interested in football any longer - it is all about profit

In this age and time when players are being pampered like egg, why would cesc pay his way to another club?
AFTER 8 or 9 years at arsenal - Cesc got home sick - I dont blame - When is Nasri going abeg - Make Wenger sign another £4.50 kid from Ivory Coast

Krayola:
Cesc does not want to stay in a team that he feels is not serious about winning. He won't be young forever and does not want to look back on his career with regret. He is simply too talented to have nothing but a whole lot of disappointment to show for it. I think fans should try to understand that part of things.

In the current premiership a team with 2 world class players and many mediocres will most likely not win the league. You look at Fabregas' stats over the years and one can understand his frustration. I understand Wenger wants to keep him, but Wenger is not surrounding him with players that can match both his talent and ambition. After a while players look around and make their own assessments. Wenger can only motivate them so much. . . at some point they look around and see that his decisions do not seem to back-up the claims he makes about the club's ambitions. DO you really expect them to stick around forever while Arsene gambles away their careers?
Well Written , Receive your 100 fold return IJN -

Same mediocrity every time for the last 6 seasons - for the sake God - sign a bloody experienced , keeper, defender, striker

@Krayola, which pedestal, dude are living in Eskimoland?

Arsene Wenger was categorical, left to him he wanted to keep Cesc. Board, Barca and Cesc all those 3 were open to him leaving. And still yet it is AW that will get the load of the insults after all this.
The only way Wenger can demonstrate this  - is simply signing quality and experienced players and not some kids from African countries

Olodo Said

bros thanks for concern the whole of last season we played some lovely football without Fab And Nasri. Am saying they are not important? NO sir,but if they want to Go, the exit door is wide open. if arsenal can survive without Henry, viera and host of other good players that has left in the past, am sure we Will survive,

Se na beautiful football you wan chop - No trophy. Arsenal lacks serious mental strength.

You are truly an OLODO - Arsenal have not totally recovered from the lOss of Henry, Veira and others. Show a me striker after henry who has consistently scored more than 20 goals since the departure of Henry or Influential Capitan like Viera who could instil confidence in the rest of the players

Ol boy wake up . Wenger's ideology is killing Arsenal - Na by force to build stadium

I fail to understand who is deceiving who . Is it the board that is deceiving Wenger or it is Wenger doing the deceiving. I strongly believe its Wenger ideology to all ways buy young and develop the talent but unfortunately the talent departs once he is developed. Reminds of the days of Ajax -

Somebody reading Redsun's post will think Armageddon has taken place in England. The Whole incident happened on a place the size of a football pitch and not as projected by Redsun.
