OK First thing, what is your budget?

Do you want a full size SUV or are you willing to look at medium size ones?
It doesn't matter  - I am all for practicality - dont care how the car looks  - just something reliable , easily fixed by our guys in Nigeria. - If i had my way i would driving a Land Rover Defender as i believe the below car suits the Nigerian terrain perfectly

A Rav4 is actually as very good fitting car for Nigeria based on my observations. I know you said it's out of the budget but how can it be when you are considering a 2008 Endeavor? Maybe a little bit older?

It's very economical, petite for those tight squeezes, good visibility and best of all it's a Toyota.
No its a 2005 model

Hello Guys

Can you recommend a list of SUV's for the Nigerian road  - and one that can easily maintained by our local engineers  ( with parts easily available  )

Thanks

I was initially considering a Mitsubishi Endeavour -  But this jeep only comes in a 3.8 litre engine -  ( Worried about the cost of fuelling this thing for daily usage - it is for My Mother)

I am an IT Consultant - specialism around Integration/testing making sure shi t works before it is rolled over to the production environment - being with the current client for almost a year now - I am getting bored as i have mastered everything that needs to be mastered. I am thinking should i ejected myself or stay with the current client collecting my daily rate.

Offers from other clients sound tempting - Anyway it is all about the dosh - if anybody says they want to develop " CAREER " na big lie. grin

That is an argument, argumentative fallacy that borders on the gene of fallacy called pettio pre precipe

USeless people - they have eyes ooooo - they fly into a country with Electricity and good airport facilities - They are received well without chaos - They drive safely into the centre of New york on roads that are not flooded or with pot holes that can swallow a 747 but to do the same where they come from is considered over whelming task -

God Forsaken people

Politicians , especially the ones in government have been reduced to a bunch of jesters.  I am so happy that Nigerians are now seeing this lot as a bunch of clowns - who have nothing better to offer but bull shi t .

If somebody is classified as an accomplice it is very possible that they weren't involved in the physical carriage of the stolen money hence Dame Patience is correct but that only can never prove she aint guilty.

A baby boy was born yesterday at St Ann's hospital laughing instead of crying.
The more the midwives beat him the more he laughs like crazy.
Suddenly the doctor noticed he had something in his hand.
So the doctor pulled the baby's tiny hands apart and discovers he was holding onto 3 abortion pills.
The baby looked at his mother & said "NO WEAPON FASHIONED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER!

Na who said Nigeria has the best accent in the world? Whoever said so may be drunk.
I agree - Nigerian accent when used to speak English is clear and can easily be understood by non nigerians unlike the Ghanian accent with its twist and turn

As already mentioned - People are already paying a much more higher cost for electricity via a generator - so If the Higher cost will increase electricity i think it is viable way forward.
