Truckpusher: As long as they still have some level of control over a sizable chunk of the population to win elections, intimidate other regions, and ensure that Nigeria maintains the status quo to get a lion share through the quota system they will never do anything to change that edge over other region until the house collapses on their feet but guess what ? even their closest ally in the South West that has remained glued to them would have a rethink especially if the Niger Delta oil machine grinds to a halt.
If they create and give them a rigorous education system that would make them to think outside the box and begin to ask questions and finally become acculturated and assimilated into a secular Nigeria what would they trade with to remain relevant and wield any absolute power like they assume to wield right now? Think man! think - Its about power even when it's almost game over. Gbam Barcanista to understand his perceptive better Watch this Korean movie Warrior Dong Soo Baek. |

Henry120: This isn't entirely accurate. Quantity also comes with it's own quality.
In world war II, Russian T-34's simply destroyed German Tiger Tanks, despite the Tiger Tanks been more superior and more advanced than the T-34's because for every T-34 destroyed by a Tiger tank, the Soviets immediately replaced them with 2 T-34s. So the Germans couldn't just keep up. That was convention warfare BH war requires a different approach against these unknown enemies. |

eagleeye2: It was during Ihejirika's time that Boko Haram really felt the might of the Nigerian Army. But sadly, the Northerners felt he was rather killing the 'innocent' and went on ranting. A. I. should say something about all the people who have lost their lives and have been displaced because of this Boko Haram thing. If Ihejirika is probed or persecuted because of fighting BH, what do you all think will be happening to the Morale of the Nigerian Army? . I see no end in sight for this BH thing, since we are now playing politics and tribalism with it. You spoke wisely exactly what I have thought of The day Ihejirika is probe , the far North especially the NE will gradually be lost forever The moral of Southern and Middle Beltan officers and men will nose dive as they see the accused generals probe. This will lead to less resistance against BH renewed onslaught and takeover of NE. Buhari has to be careful otherwise , I forsee Nigeria collapse under his leadership |

Politics › Re: Shocking Revelations About The Present Economic Situation In Osun by BlackTechnology: 9:58pm On Jun 03, 2015 |
pazienza: You now see why some people are scared of Nigeria's division. Why they shout one Nigeria to roof top. Only a reduction in ND oil allocation and this is what we have. What will happen when the ND form their own independent country and no more crude oil funds available to the rest of the country?
Can't the myopic ones see the truth. ND oil money allocations mask bad leaders, it makes it easy for them to get away with poor leadership, every Tom dick and Harry can aspire to lead a state in Nigeria, he knows he doesn't have to crack his brains seeking for means to raise funds, he simply seats idle in his office waiting for monthly oil money allocation from the FG. His only Job is to distribute the money to the civil servants and loot the rest with his cronies.
Take away crude oil, you expose the incompetent leaders, only the competent ones who are capable of thinking outside the box, can be able to look for alternative means of raising funds, and by so doing, bring about the diversification of the economy.
Crude oil allocation to Nigeria non oil producing states is like Drug of dependence, Osun is addicted to this Drug, and is now suffering from withdrawal effect because of lack of sufficient crude oil allocation, she is not alone, many Nigerian states are affected too. that's why they hate the word Biafra |

Politics › Re: Buhari Favours Senator Lawan For Senate Presidency, Sahara Reporters by BlackTechnology: 3:32pm On Jun 03, 2015 |
donphilopus: Shut the bleep up. Buhari's stand on this even favours the Southwest because if Lawan (Northeast) doesn't emerge the Senate President, they would make sure Yakubu Dogara (Northeast) emerges the Speaker. Since Lawan (Northeast) would become the President, Gbajagbiamila (Southwest) may likely become the next Speaker because the Senate President and the House Speaker cannot come from the same zone! NW= President SW= VP NE= Senate ?= Rep In your mind you think it will go to the SW Guy Northerners need the oil of the SS/SE and might disappoint SW to appease the Lower Niger People. |
