I must be critical of the security agents around the scene, their response was highly unprofessional, 4rm d video, 1 could see that they lack organization and coordination in d face of small arms fire. There should be some kind of tactical movement of some sort to fight of such untrained fighters, but I am highly disappointed in their overall performance coz it seems they have no idea where d shots were coming from. They couldn't even take up strategic defensive positions.

The question u should be asking is if there is enough cash in circulation n not if d paltry sum d govt is sharing will lead to inflation.

First n foremost, is there enough money in circulation? If there is already enough money in circulation, then injecting more money into d economy will lead to inflation in a market where there is no price control, but in a market where there is a reasonable price control measures, inflation can be contained/managed. But 4 a market with no price control, whether d govt inject more money into d economy through d pandemic stimulus package or not, we are already feeling d effect of inflation inflicted not by govt policy but by our greed of wanting to take advantage of d current situation.

Although we r yet 2 feel d economic impact of covid-19, i am of d opinion that sooner than later, our inflation rate will go higher than the acceptable threshold reason being that we are an import dependent economy. So therefore inflation will increase by more than 2 digits much more than hv been experienced b4. So there is an urgent need 4 all relevant stake holders in the oil sector as a matter of urgency to regulate their crude oil production so as to ensure stability in d oil market in this hard time, but if OPEC is unwilling to come to a compromise, then countries with massive reliance on her crude production will be hit d hardest.

I do hope dat my little input will be enough to make u understand d dire situation we r in irrespective of d pandemic package.

I was like 30miles away and I could here my wall shake,that is definitely not an IED ,I was there yesterday and the crater was magnificent, moreover I have ins with the police in that area and they were all as confused as everybody. There are still rock like structures that breaks funny and smell like funny there.

But some folks wants us to believe otherwise

Pictures from the drone posted here on this forum showed destroyed buildings. Infact one roof was blown away and several buildings destroyed. I am not a bomb expert neither am I a geologist but I have questions.
The crater that deep should come from a force at a very high speed at an angle at the same time I don't know if a meteor has enough power to shatter surrounding buildings like that. If it was a bomb carrying vehicle also, then there should be parts of it scattered around and casualties.


The police report doesn't make any sense at all. It just leaves me more confused

From its angle and speed of entry, it has the power to produce such crater and also have a powerful blast radius depending on its size. So there is every possibility that its a meteorite.

I am a Mining Engineer by study and by profession by God's Grace. I can categorically confirm that commercial explosives were being conveyed from an explosive company in the South west to a quarry in the South south. EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) officers of the Nigeria Police were escorting the said explosives. The explosives detonated because the truck went in flames, according to report. Whether that cause is true or not is another case entirely. The one true fact is that "EXPLOSIVES IN A TRUCK DETONATED". The impact of the explosion is what you saw, while some witnessed ground vibration, air blast and noise.

For those that want to believe Mr Professor, try to check online videos of blasting done in quarries to know what explosives can do to rocks.

In addition, some people said it was a bomb. Bomb explosives are different from commercial explosives. You would notice that there was no trace of fire or burn on and around the location.

If it was an explosive like u allege, I want to believe that they weren't transporting just one commercial ordinance, so why then was it just one huge explosion, how do u explain y there were no corresponding explosions at interval and also how do u explain it blast radius?

Even an IED planted by the road side do not have such power to create such kind of crater let alone have the power 4 such blast radius.
