Yes you might not be wealthy or rich as him, but then future is always pregnant. At 32, I'm sure there are people from your time in school that are richer than the guy you met, but you know what? They've passed on, probably because they rushed their own process.

All you have to do is believe and hold on to that hope. Believe in God. Believe in whatever serves as means of income for you. Don't compare your success with others, it steals your joy, even when you achieve the tinnniest of success.

You can do all of this and scrape a living...OR you could spend some months to learn an IT skill that is in-demand and then you could easily find a remote job for a Western company that paid a western salary, without even needing to move to another nation.

Examples? Coding languages (C++, etc), SAP (pick your poison among the various modules), etc.
