Pen and paper by O.A.O "The pen is mightier than the sword" (Edward Bulwer-Lytton, 1839). Growing up, I was a little kid with few words; I expressed myself better by my actions. My words came out short and precised but lacked the depth, strength and the supreme potential of conveying my deepest thoughts from my soul articulately and seamlessly to my listeners. I developed dire impatience, as people often misunderstood or disregarded my scanty words and inept actions which I often utilized to buttress my viewpoints, up until I unwittingly discovered the glamorous art of writing. Writing, although arduous at first trial, gave me the desired platform to pour out my heart via one of the cheapest but effectual medium of communication, which is a “pen and paper”. Time after time days after days, writing became a part of me. With that little pen, I could express my deepest thoughts without restrictions. No government, no oppression, no turmoil could hold me back. I became unstoppable! Even with the stifling recession, I adjusted to cheapjack pens but my words were hitting the papers hard and connecting unlimited thoughts, vast and uncountable as the waters. Lines after lines, I saw myself educating myself, I saw myself casting out anger and frustrations on plain papers, rather than hauling distasteful words on my oppressors. With writing, I now see myself crossing boundaries in my heart and reaching out to you. Yes, you my prudent reader. I feel relieved that through pen and papers, I can connect with your heart faster than ultraviolet rays. As you read my words, you connect with my soul and my innermost thoughts even if we never cross paths, I have an unshakable conviction that through your eyes, I have reached out to your thought mechanisms but above all, I have subtly beguiled your attention! No villain, no repressive government, no corruption, no shackles can stop this invisible link between our souls. We are inconspicuously united! Pick up your pen and write me, write your foes, write to that villain, write to that individual or people that have kept you a prisoner, subjected to nothingness. Write for the world to read. Shakespeare, Dickens and Hemingway all did it, you also can. Let your emotions guide your priceless pen; let your eyes connect to your innermost intuition. Believe me, your words can break barriers and connect hearts all around the world in a way science will forever find unfathomable. I pledge to write… do you?

Hello House, Please am in a delimma. If one claimed points for work experience say between 2013-2015 with a particular NOC. but currently works in a different company and totally different NOC, which he/she didnt claim points for, do the person need to upload ref letter for the current job(which he didnt claim points for)? Or jus add it to the personal records? |
Adiahabasi:What if one claims points for an employment lets say between 2012-2014, but not with his present job... does the person need to provide ref letter for the present job that he didnt claim points for? Or like u said, put in personal history?? Thanks |
Hello house, back to the question of two or more cert, my friend has evaluated his BSC with WES, now he has a separate NIM cert which is not evaluated but the cert says its a graduate diploma. My question is ...can he use both to gain points for 2 or more cert? Because the rule states : A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or: Post-Bachelor's Certificate Post-undergraduate certificate Post-Bachelor's Diploma Post-undergraduate diploma Graduate Certificate Graduate Certificate with a focus in [area of concentration] Postgraduate certificate Postgraduate Diploma Graduate Diploma with a focus in [area of concentration] Graduate diploma two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in [name of discipline] two-year Bachelor’s after degree with a focus in [area of concentration] one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline] one-year of graduate study with a focus in [area of concentration] Dual Bachelor’s degree (four years) Points |

Hello house, please those that got PR through express entry, were you asked for work account statements or payslips? or was it just reference letters that is required. secondly, what happens to those that were paid by cash?. |
BlessedFellow01:@BlessedFellow1 Pls how long did it take you from the day you applied to the day you recieved it? Secondly, how did u pay for it if u paid from Nigeria? |
Got my ITA with crs score: 481 after missing 3 previous draws due to no ECA. Created my express entry profile only yesterday (24th), so i literally spent less than 24hrs in the pool.Thank God! |
Hello house. I have been a silent follower of this thread. I wrote my first IELTS General exams around Oct and got : L 7.5, R 6.5 W 6.5 & S 7.5. (I didnt practise so much) ![]() This result was really depressing but i, my colleague and friends decided to give it another try and we wrote the Dec 3rd's exam. I got L 9, R 8, W 7.5 & S 7.5. (Practised hard for 1month) When i checked my CRS score, it came out to 481 lol . I am yet to create a profile for the pool (no ECA yet) cos i never really took this Canada EE seriously. I just quickly applied to my post graduate Uni (Sunderland) to send my transcript to IQAS. I urge people taking IELTS to use Youtube videos for their listening practices, then use IELTS Liz for the rest, especially for the reading tips. IELTS 68k is not beans with this recession!!! Wish you all goodluck and the best!!! |
