No I wasn’t sent a mail. I just logged in as usual and I noticed the eligibility has started. Princeofabia: Were you sent a mail when eligibility started? |

Please I’d like to make an inquiry based on my application. I submitted on April 26th, biometrics was updated same day. I did upfront Medicals on 28th of June. No update on my application until around 20th of July when eligibility review started. Though I’ve been sending series of mails and webform since the second week I completed my Medicals in the first week of July. July 27th medical passed. So my question is; since my medical was updated to pass after eligibility review has started, is that a positive sign that I might get my PPR anytime soon? Your opinions will be appreciated. Thank you. |

How long does an eligibility review takes before a decision is made? Anon123: Tell your friend the bolded means that the application is currently on eligibility review.
I would recommend he applied for a gcms note to help him know what might be missing or was omitted by the visa officer before a decision is made |

I wouldn’t mind everything being updated. But I felt since eligibility has started, everything should be concluded soon. Abi2022: Did you attach the e-medical form to your emails? If yes, you can send reminders every other day till its updated. However, all may be updated same day including PPR oo.. |

We submitted on the same date. My upfront Medicals was on June 28th but it’s still yet to be updated to pass. And my eligibility review has started. Though I sent series of mails for the past 2weeks which I think is the catalyst to my eligibility review. Do you think I should send another mail so my Medicals can be updated or do I just wait for IRCC to update it since eligibility has commenced? Abi2022: Congratulations to all who have gotten PPR so far and Congratulations to us who will be getting soon. I stumbled on this thread about a month after my submission. I wish I did earlier though because of the amount of information available on the thread! Thanks to all who daily encourage others and those that remember to come back to share their timelines, documents submitted and tips & tricks.
If you are new and just applying or have applied and waiting, I suggest you do an Upfront medical, this MAY help save time and kickstart the process.
I applied April 26, 2022 and did an upfront medical on May 25, though I not get a medical request I started sending emails 3rd week in June and my medical was updated June 23 (I should have sent emails and webform by end of week one). Another set of emails sent initiated my "eligibility review" on July 05. Now I am waiting for PPR and have sent another set of emails....and I believe it will end in praise . Everyone will glorify God with me.
It's tiring and can be mentally exhausting, I pray God gives those of us in His waiting room patience to stand the season and show His Mercy and Favour as regards our application.
We will share our testimony sooner than we think in Jesus Name. |

I don’t have any. But anyone in NBCC can create one and add other potential NBCC students. That was how CNA was created. Sara25: Please share details of any WhatsApp group for New Brunswick Community College.

I don’t think it’s proper to change payment method when school has offered one. There’s a reason they use paymytuition and once your payment is confirmed by paymytuition, they’ll send your payment confirmation to the school which takes about 7days, Then the school generates an official invoice for you which is what you add to your application for study permit. Pls don’t try to bypass the school policy. It’s just for your own good. My opinion. johnstan: Check if the paymy tuition option generates an invoice, if it does, the invoice will have payment details (account details) and with that you can apply for remittance through form A |

Do I qualify with these Frankrobbn1: 488 CRS score! Are you serious? Please jump into the pool as you will most possibly be nominated in the next draws. Start gathering your documents and get prepared. This is exactly what I'm saying, a lot of persons on this platform qualifies to become a permanent resident of Canada without knowing. Please don't miss out this opportunity, its a very straightforward process. You can be pursuing both immigration programs (study permit & Express Entry) which ever that clicks, you move with it.
It will end in praise

I’ve ND in computer engineering. When I was also trying to find a school in the Atlantic region. I later went with College of North Atlantic. The only IT course pertaining to my field is computer systems and networking and I went with it. But you can check other courses that are IT related since you’re working towards a professional certification. Jaykeyzeeee: So this is my first post on here Though I’ve been a silent reader for the past few weeks and I’ve gotten a lot of insight on here
I’ve been stuck with making a decision and honestly I have been troubled cause any decision I make now influence my decision in picking a career path
So I graduated from UNIBEN around this time last year with a second class lower and ever since then I didn’t go for service cause I felt I had nothing to offer so I began to take online courses and get myself some certifications on Cousera and some other platforms on software Engineering I’m still yet to go for service anyways but I’d be looking to go with the next batch, and still unemployed but searching I’ve been looking to apply for one of these colleges in the North Atlantic regions of Canada as they are actually cheaper and affordable due to my financial status, dad is retired but willing to sponsor my tuition and other expenses from the sale of one of his landed properties I’ve been looking to apply for a PGD either in Software Development,Data analysis ,Cyber security or Business and advanced Analytics which the requirement is usually for student with computer science background,Accounting and other related field. So far, Most of the schools I’ve checked out are either offering a one year PG certificate in these courses or are either not open for application for fall 2023 I’m stuck between making a decision on going for a Diploma programme in Network Administration or a diploma in any IT related field which is a 2yr course
Please gurus in the house @ lekikibobo, frank and other bosses I need your help and advise on this one . God bless |

omoooo, this your documentation no stress at all o. Laslas, Grace na koko, documents na jara. Congratulations chief. God no go forget the rest of us. Deyoungjoe16: PPR ALERT!!! FIRST TIME APPLICANT
My story;
I was super excited when I woke up around 10 am this morning and saw two notification mails from IRCC , then I knew it was it, started smiling and quickly logged in to confirm it was real. Lol…
Prior to getting the PPR this morning I had earlier woke up around 5 am to check the portal , lol cos I got series of ghost updates yesterday, but nothing was there.
__Application timeline__
Application submitted - 5th April 2022 Biometrics done and complete- 6th April 2022 Medicals report request - 28th May 2022 Eligibility Review - 28th may 2022 Medicals done at IOM Abuja -2nd June 2022 Medical passed - 8th june June 2022 Sent series of Emails via webform and mail to IRCC, from the 10th week up until yesterday, intermittently though. PPR - 30th June 2022
Documents submitted(self sponsored)
- Letter of Acceptance with co-op letter - SOP (2 pages) - Intl passport -proof of funds (Statement of account 4 months +with letter of reference from bank) and (investment letter from cowrywise ) -Cv That should be all.
Funny enough, I wasn’t really focused on moving to canada, my priority was Portugal, because I read about many refusals and long wait time.
However, after I got medical request, I became interested and anxious, so reactivated my Nairaland account. I was shocked when I came I on Nairaland Saw different applicants with extremely well packaged applications backed with with so many documents and I felt like Omoh, I no serious oo, lol. But God did it!
Afterwards, I spoke to Frank global, Makano and Anon, they all said once I had gotten a medical request that my application was as good as approved, they gave me so much hope and I wanna take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to them. God bless you my bosses.
I gotta be honest, my application wasn’t the near top 10000th applications I saw here, but it’s all grace and faith my people. God did it!
Landing gist next, Canada here I come! |

I think you can send a mail since the processing time has lapsed. And When you have the Medicals done you can upload the e-Medicals. My opinion tho. Litey8: My Medical appointment is scheduled for sometime in July, towards ending. I’m not sure if I can start sending web form and emails because I didn’t do upfront. Nobody have cared to answer my query about this on here.
I don’t know if it’s a must to do medicals before sending web form or emails even after stipulated processing time has passed and no update on gckey portal or email. |

Hi Mr Leki, is there a format to draft the letter to the MP and the web forms too? So we don’t complicate things for ourselves. Please kindly help if there’s one. Thank you. Lekiboboe: Have you sent webforms and mails to IRCC offices?
Have you reached out to the MP (Member of Parliament) of the Province/community your school is located to reach out to IRCC about your application? |

Just confirmed the processing time has changed to 9weeks. Let’s start sending web forms and emails. God go run am for us. Blakmandk: You’ve just summarized my situation. The only difference here is I don’t have a UK admission. My application was also submitted on April 26. I’ve a biometric since 2019. Mine is showing the same thing as yours. I did an upfront medical too. But I’m waiting for a medical request so I can upload my slip. It’s just 3weeks left for the 12weeks processing time to lapse. Please the gurus in the house should assist us.
