Please when was this changes made? So can I start sending web forms now? Mine is also 9weeks today. Litey8: Processing time on IRCC website for study permit outside Canada has reduced from 12 weeks to 9 weeks. This is 10 weeks and 1 day after my Biometric. Can I start sending emails and web form now? Kindly check my previous message in Quote.
Your input would be appreciated. Thanks |

You’ve just summarized my situation. The only difference here is I don’t have a UK admission. My application was also submitted on April 26. I’ve a biometric since 2019. Mine is showing the same thing as yours. I did an upfront medical too. But I’m waiting for a medical request so I can upload my slip. It’s just 3weeks left for the 12weeks processing time to lapse. Please the gurus in the house should assist us. Abi2022: @Makano Please help a sister.
Good Morning,
I have an admission in Centennial College for Fall 2022 and applied on April 26 and did an upfront medical on May 25. My medical just got updated on June 23 after sending webforms and emails. I had earlier submitted my biometrics when I applied for a visiting visa in 2018 so its valid till 2028. I currently have an admission in University of Stirling in Scotland that I must close out on by July 31, 2022. My questions are;
1. I noticed that on the “Details about my application status” my biometrics section is yet to be updated and states that “We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.” I am concerned about the delay and wonder if this is the reason the review of my eligibility is yet to commence. 2. I recently paid the balance of my school fees for the year, when I submitted I had paid only the acceptance fees. I used funds from an account I did not submit so funds in the POF I submitted are still there, do I need to send them this additional information? 3. Should I let them know about this UK admission as I need to know my position to enable me not be at a disadvantage. Time is of essence
What do you advice I do?
Looking forward to your advice |

oh. Okay sir. I just hope there is not problem concerning my application. Omnisavage: I can't really say for sure since it's since 2019 that you did your biometrics. Mine just changed to `Completed` this morning. It first showed we do not need your fingerprint then it changed to we have not gotten your fingerprint. Before now changing to Completed. |

Hi please is my biometrics completed at this point?please look at the screenshot below. Omnisavage: Good morning, ShowYoung.
I have a question, are we only allowed to send webforms to the Kenyan office? I'm asking this because I sent emails to like 10 different email addresses including London, Kenyan, Beijing, Lagos, Accra, Cairo, Pretoria etc about my biometrics not changing to Completed but it was actually the Beijing people that replied me this morning that they've fixed it and I checked the portal and the biometrics was showing Completed. So I'm wondering if I can also send a webform to Beijing office regarding medical not updated as well since they seem to be the only one taking things serious.

That means I’ll have to apply for another passport once I’m settled in CA? hillary4003: it won't affect your application but you'll only be issued a maximum of 1 year and 3 months so to continue your education you'll need to apply for an extension of your visa. |

I paid my tuition with PayMyTuition. I made a bank transfer and the payment was confirmed after 7working days. I sent payment receipts and paymytuition receipts generated to my school. So my school only waited for paymytuition to disburse it. nairagrounds: Has anyone successfully paid their tuition using Form A recently?
Has anyone gotten a PTA for their trip recently?
Has anyone used PayMyTuition to pay their tuition before? How did you integrate it with Form A? If it isn't possible, how did you cope with the exchange rate?
For those that use flywire, how do you use it with Form A?
I will appreciate responses to these questions as I plan to pay my tuition and prepare for my trip.
Thanks. |

Please can anyone help with this? Blakmandk: thank you for this breakdown. I’ve a few questions. When I applied, my sponsor provided 2 statement of account showing balances of 6m and 2m. My personal account statement was showing a balance of 1m & I’ve provided my crypto wallet balance showing a balance of 2000usdt. My tuition is CAD$8000 for each year (2years diploma). I paid a deposit of CAD$3400. I want to ask, is this funds provided enough as my pof for 2years because I’m getting scared. I’ve submitted my application and biometrics since April 26 and I’m yet to get a response since then. It’s been 8weeks already and nothing has come through. Though I’ve my Medicals next week. So I don’t know if I’ll get a response after my Medicals. I’ll be glad if you can help with a breakdown of my funds too. |

Tuition fee $36,000 (2 years). 2. Living expenses $20,000 (2 years). 3. Miscellaneous expenses $3000+ TOTAL: $59,000. (#19,765,000 @$1/335)
If this amount of money is not in your account and you have just only one-year expenses with you, the onus is on you to prove beyond reasonable doubts to convince the VO that the funds for the second year will be available and will be provided by your sponsor by either showing investments, business with good cashflow or something more. Apart from this, you must also prove that the sponsor has no responsibility on anyone else and that the funds is solely meant for your study.
In order to avoid these provings and explanations, it is better if the total fund is available. |

is the authenticity confirmed as at the time the statement was printed? Or the funds must be available in the account for a long period of time till the visa is approved? vividlooks: Please note AUTHENTICITY will mean the following 1)Bank will confirm that the name matches what's in their system 2) Balances as stated on the request too.
So, because it isn't stated explicitly what authenticity means doesn't limit it to just verification of name. The opening and closing balances must match. |

E be like na the way forward be this o. Road to Ontario straight.. mrprolifik: . According to IRCC to switch schools after obtaining your Visa you must also inform Them. If you are still in Nigeria for example and have gotten your visa and want to switch schools before travelling to Canada, you must inform IRCC and that also means that you would have to submit a new application with a new letter of acceptance. But if you have already landed in Canada and collected your study permit and later decided to switch schools when you haven't resumed the school you used in getting your study permit you are still required to alert IRCC and you will also be required to leave Canada to apply for a new study permit from home because the one you are already having will be cancelled and rendered invalid . So your best option is to attend the old school for some weeks or a month or 2 then withdraw from the school . In this case you will also alert IRCC but you wont be required to leave Canada to get a new study permit. This is your best option if you don't want to reapply from outside Canada. |

Thank You sir Frankrobbn1: You must return home to get married to her before you can apply for her to join you in Canada. My advice in such situation is that you should get married immediately you've gotten your study permit approval in Nigeria.
It will end in praise |

Can one submit a statement of account showing series of transactions made to your fiancée account as common law spousal relationship? ShowYoung: If you can establish evidence of common-law spousal relationship, yes, you can apply for your fiancé.
Evidences of common-law spousal relationship are sharing and living together in the same apartment for at least one year, sharing or using the same bank account, bill, Insurance etc. Children can also be considered as connection between both.
Canada recognizes common-law relationship. This is a mutual agreement between two people to live together in a manner which depicts that of marriage. |
