RomanceRe: Should I Move On? by blamingthedevil: 8:50pm On Dec 07, 2021
Smoothbabykong:
Hi guys,
I need your honest opinions about my relationship.

My girlfriend and I have been dating for quite a while but I don't know what is happening at the moment.

The problem is this, we both live in the UK. We have made plans to get married and we have plans to start up a business in Nigeria. The truth is that she kept some money with me and I used it to sort some debts out but was planning to give the money back to her when she is ready to leave for Nieria.

What really happened was that there was a certain money given to me by another to help him send down to Nigeria. Out of trust, I told another friend of mine to handle the transaction but unfortunately it all went sideways. So I had to use the money with me to sort the debt out while I recover the other from my other friend.

My girlfriend has been asking me for the money and I lied to her that it's in my account but there has been sort of a problem with it which she believed. The day she was suppose to go to Nigeria, she still asked about it and she told me if I was busy my friend (she knows the guy) can pick up the money for her because she needs to sort some things out enroute to Nigeria. I called my friend and told him to lie to her that the money is with him and I will know what to tell her till I can recover the money from him.

Later that day, she called me and was crying that I betrayed her. She told me everything that happened to her money which means my friend must have told her. She hung up. I tried calling my friend, he has blocked me. Lots of things were through my mind. Dont know what to do. She sent me a few messages and blocked me on both WhatsApp and via calls. When she got to Nigeria that same day, she unblocked me. She told me I have to pay and I said yes I will. I admitted I lied and I tried to explain to her why I lied. Its been a week. I have tried apologizing twice. She read it and ignored me. I told her send me the account she wants the payment. She didn't reply. Fortunately I have her brother's account number and sent her 70 percent of her money and I sent her the receipt too. I only managed to get that amount after selling my car off with a few gadgets and electronics in my house.

I don't know whether to just forget about her or to wait till when she is ready to talk.

She has done outrageous things in past which I have overlooked also. I have even resulted maybe she has another person with in Nigeria and I should just move on.

Thanks for your opinions

Politics300 Monarchs Backing Tinubu For 2023 Presidency – Campaign Coordinator by blamingthedevil(op): 2:49pm On Dec 04, 2021
OVER 300 royal fathers from South West are said to be backing the bid by the ex-governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Tinubu, for the presidency in 2023.

This was disclosed in Gbongan, Osun state, on Tuesday by Senator Dayo Adeyeye, the National Chairman of South West Agenda for Asiwaju for 2023, a group seeking support for Tinubu ahead of next presidential poll, during the launch of the group at Irewole Federal Constituency.

Adeyeye, who called on the residents to support the push by the group to rally support for Tinubu, listed the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and Alake of Egba, Oba Adedotun Aremu, as some of the royal fathers that had already backed Tinubu for the presidential project.

He said, “You are representatives of SWAGA and you must continue to advocate Tinubu for the presidential project. By the grace of God, Tinubu will emerge the next Nigeria’s president in 2023.

“All the traditional rulers in Yorubaland are supporting Tinubu, over 300 of them are backing him. From Ooni of Ife to Alaafin of Oyo, Alake and others. He is the best candidate that will come out of Yorubaland.”

Speaking earlier, the Osun State SWAGA coordinator, Ayo Omidiran, said apart from canvassing support for Tinubu ahead of the next presidential election, the group was also rallying support for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, ahead of the 2022 governorship poll.

PoliticsIsaac Nkole Kicks As Kalu Hosts National Exco, Fuels Defection Rumour by blamingthedevil(op): 10:34am On Dec 03, 2021
AN Abia State chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Isaac Nkole, has cautioned the party against re-admitting the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Uzor Kalu.

This call came on the heels of a visit by a high-powered PDP delegation led by the incoming National Secretary of the party, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, at his Aso-Villa, Abuja home.

Nkole alleged that Kalu, “Is in a desperate move to return to the PDP having discovered that his days in the All Progressives Congress, are numbered.”

The PDP chieftain alleged that the Senate Whip has been reaching out to key party stakeholders at both the state and at the national levels, begging them to allow him return to the party.

He, however, said Sen. Kalu’s return to PDP “is not in the best interest of the party.”

Nkole advised the leadership of PDP both in Abia and at the national level to be careful not to allow the senator to return to the party “because his return will destroy PDP”.

Earlier, a delegation of newly elected members of the National Working Committee of the PDP who paid a courtesy call on Kalu, in his Abuja residence within the precincts of Aso Rock, urged him to make an informed choice regarding the 2023 general election.

The Truth:
The JPI also surprisingly awarded the sum of N10M to one Serah Ibrahim (listed as No. 14 on Page 304 of the Report). Serah Ibrahim was neither a Petitioner nor a Claimant before the JPI. On Page 179 0 the Report, Serah Ibrahim testified on oath that she did not have a petition before the Panel; neither did she have any claims for compensation. This award to Serah Ibrahim is also contrary to t provisions of section 13 Tribunal of Inquiry Law 2015 (Cap. T6 La of Lagos State) which prescribes that only witnesses requested summoned by a Tribunal of Inquiry is entitled to witness fees subject to the consent of the Attorney General. Serah Ibrahim did not testify at t request or summons of the Tribunal. See pages 17-18 of the Report for the list of summoned witnesses,” the paper stated.

The Truth:

On the report that 9 protesters were killed during the protest at the Lekki Toll Gate, the government described the claim as baffling, saying that apart from listing out their names in that form on pages 297-298, the JPI offered no explanation regarding circumstances of their death. It said that the names simply sprang up at, 297-298 of the report without any justification.

The statement read in part: “It is quite astonishing that in the list of eleven (11) deaths set on pages 297-298, two (2) of the names appeared twice (Kolade Salam, Folorunsho Olabisi as Nos. 37 and 38). Furthermore, the person ben, as No. 46 Nathaniel Solomon who testified as a witness and petit the JPI in respect of his brother who he alleged died at LTC, himself listed as having died at LTG on 20th October 2020, Remarkably, Nathaniel Solomon’s deceased brother (Abuta Solomon, was then also listed: as‘No.2 on the list of persons who died at LTG. The only victim of gunshot injury from LTG was picked up at 7:43, on 21* October 2020 after the curfew commenced (see page 99 Furthermore, there was no shred of evidence regarding who shot him.

Another substantial inconsistency in the JPI Report was the award of compensation to only one (1) out of the alleged nine (9), listed as “deceased” which showed that the JPI itself had doubts as to the death of eight (cool other allegedly deceased persons on its list. See page 304 of the JPI Report.”

The government also picked a hole in the justification for the award of one Serah Ibrahim, saying that she was neither a Petitioner nor a Claimant before the JPI.

NGpatriot:
Do you know the reason why the panel dash her N10 million awoof taxpayers money?

Let me xplain.

She gave the panel their main 9 deaths story, she played a video showing one individual who never testified or placed under oath to tell the truth.

The individual said he saw 11 dead people on a military truck, he said he was dumped in the truck by accident and he really wasn't dead, but he later escaped after counting 11 dead people on the truck, this is the hearsay video she played before the panel.

The panel then gave her awoof money which was against the aw, this in itself rendered the whole report inadmissible, the person in the video did not testify, was not under oath to tell the truth and the person that played the video did was not a petitioner or a witness.

That corrupt panel messed up on so many levels, they should be held responsible for the unfortunate outcome.
