⚠️TB CERTIFICATE: IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you are certain that you will be leaving this September, try and book for TB Certificate now. It is issued by the International Office of Migration in Lagos or Abuja. You will need an Xray at the office on your appointment day (and possibly a sputum culture - someone mentioned they asked for this. I didn't do this).
I want to share with you a trick to get an early date in June/July for your TB Certificate. While booking online, in the online form, choose Canada or New Zealand. There is less rush to Canada and dates are more available. Once you get to your appointment, you are given a fresh form to fill. Ensure you fill for UK. A member of this group did this successfully and got his TB Certificate today!
⚠️Ensure you pay the full amount for UK which is N57,800 and fill for UK your appointment day. The online form gets you an appointment and let's you in the gate.
Good luck as you prepare.
#copied from a group I belong to.
Good morning everyone,
I have an IOM booking for August 18th but it's too far. I have called their contact lines and they said I should send an email as to why I need a closer date. But it seems like these guys don't reply their emails cos I have sent a lot.
I'm presently in Enugu and thinking of traveling to Lagos by the weekend so that I can go there myself and sort things out. What do you advice?

Yes please, send them an email for correction
I just noticed a typo in the name of the secondary school on the qualification section of CAS letter as bolded below:
"NQF Level 06 Qualification Name Senior School Certificate Awarding Body Obukun High School (NECO). NQF Level 02 English Language = C5. We've used this in conjunction with an interview to confirm their language level is still at a high enough standard."
The correct spelling should be "Obokun".
Considering this is only a typo of one single letter- Would it matter when applying?

1. You can use a dollar card or ask a friend in uk/us etc to help you pay.
2. No GCU doesn't do pre-cas interview but you need to show POF of 28 days to receive CAS.
3. Transfer your application to an agent if are for Sept intake because they prefer working with agents. If not Sept intake, send them an email or call, they will respond.
Good day house
Please I have a couple of questions
1) How do I make payments for Visa and IHS
2) Anyone here applied to Glasgow Caledonian University? Did you do PRE-CAS interview?
3) I was given a conditional offer in GCU and requested to upload statement of purpose. I've submitted the requested statement of purpose. What could be delaying my unconditional offer?
And can I go ahead with deposit without having received unconditional offer yet?
I'll appreciate answers from y'all.

Please consult an immigration lawyer, let them draft the letter that your inlaws will sign. Or they might give you a better solution

Thanks for your swift response. Yes, i applied to only BCU.
BCU is overwhelmed with applications, persons that applied and paid deposit few months ago are still waiting for pre-cas interview dates.
I would advice you apply to other schools now

Some schools give you 30 days to accept your offer,
Go and check your emails and applicant portals.
Wow, I'm beyond shocked! I don't even know what to do now because I didn't accept my other admission offers. And I don't know if I can still accept them.
I'm so confused right now

He shouldn't worry too much, he can still meet up for September intake if they process his refund early.
Yes he is entitled to his refund, let him send emails and call yo request for it.
If he has another offer from anther school, let him proceed with them.
House please my friend is in pains today as Bedfordshire refuse to issue CAS after his credibility interview was not successful on the ground that he did tell them his previous visa refusal and could answer most of the questions.
Will this report of the interview be sent to the embassy.
Will it affect his chances for visa
Will it affect his chances of getting other admission

Write the school and tell them all these, request for all communication to be via you as made the application yourself and don't need any assistance. Act like an adult. Send them series of emails.
He has received his cas but they didn't release it to him. It was released to the rep because he doesn't have an agent. That uni is just freaking annoying.
The rep has placed so many conditions on him and I am just angry about the university's decision, he insisted on helping him fill his application form and he must pay for assisted service for his documents to be uploaded, among other rubbish.
The University of South Wales needs to do better, they shouldn't force their agent/in country rep on students.

If he does, he won't get any refund.
The school rep has no business with your friend.
He should ignore him and go ahead with his plans.
He has gotten his CAS already, go ahead and apply for visa with your POF and documents.
For bachelor's degree, who knows unis that their tuition cost about £10k after international scholarships please.
I know University of South Wales but a friend of mine wants to withdraw his cas from them because their in country rep wants him to pay more, after he has paid £6400 and has over N8million in his account.
The rep claims he's at the border line, that the rate can go up, neglecting the fact that oanda rate is all that matters. Abeg help a friend in need

Please which school is this?
The same thing happened to me too, we were told to always say the truth, I sent my UK refusal to my school after I filled the cas form where it was stated have I been refused any visa, I said YES. They requested for the reason if possible the refusal letter, although I later got my UK visit visa then, I still scanned the refusal to the admission team and my CAS was out within 24hrs.

Hello guys, trust we are doing great?
Please can I use my fixed deposit account for my POF?
| Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by Blanchefleur: 8:20am On Jun 05|
The £2000 discount is only applicable for the first year.
You can confirm this and all other questions by calling their country representative, her number and email is on the Teesside website.
Hello gurus in the house, I have some questions to know if I'm on the right track... please I'm new to this uk visa thing , so expect some questions dat you might laff at
1. I currently applied to teeside university msc project management via an agent on may 14 its a 2yrs program. the fees is £7500/ year. My sponsor told me he'll be ready for the payment, pof issues next year, say from December this year, January or February next year, due to some expenses he had to offset. my agent told me I can apply this year and a get a discount of £2000 for each year, leaving me £5500 to pay since I have a 2:1 in mechanical engineering .. is this conditional , unconditional admission or scholarship?
2. Since I will be making my payment between end of this year and next year is be wise to have started the application now. Because my agent told me after getting the admission, now I can defer till when I'm fully ready for the payments. Will the discount of £2000 still be available or valid by then that is next year or it has a timeline? Or should I just wait till when I'm ready and reapply thats if theres a possibility of reapplying?
Please you can also recommend cheaper schools as teeside is the only school ive applied for so far.... like I said earlier I have a background im mechanical engineering, 2:1. I'm keen on studying project management, or any construction related courses...
Your answers help a lot. Thanks in anticipation

I called their Nigeria Country rep, she confirmed is £2000. You can call her to confirm, her number is on their website.
If i may ask how much did pay as deposit?
On the offer letter they state £5500 while one of their reps said £2000 as deposit on webinar...
| Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by Blanchefleur: 6:03pm On Jun 02|
Yes you are correct.
My wife got admission into Teeside University for a 2year program. Total school fees is £15000 which means £7500 per year. She is supposed to pay a £4000 deposit while she has a £1500 scholarship.
Our son and I are applying with her as dependants.
So, for POF for our son, I have calculated £680 * 9 for him which is £6120, and the same for me too.
for my wife, I calculated £1023 * 9 for her which equals to £9207.
So, by my calculation, our total POF should be as follows
£2000 (school fees remainder)
+ £9207 (Wife's maintenance)
+ £6120 (Son's maintenance)
+ £6120 ( my maintenance)
Total = £23447
Please I want to be double sure that all my calculations are fine and correct before i start the process...

Their two years MSc is £7500. The poster knows what he is saying.
@Bolded Did you divide it yourself or the school actually told you it's £7500per year?
Msc 2years £15000 is different from MSc 2 years, £7500 per year.
The former is an accumulated fees, so you must have this entire amount in your POF.

That's the point £ = N makes you feel you have enough. while N = £ requires that u keep more N in your bank account
It's amazing u are not getting me...I actually want you to calm down I see or experiment using the platform to get what I am saying!!!
N12,000,000 = £20,317.1 (today)
but £20,317.1 = N11,799,900 (reversing the naraative)
U will notice that you will need more Naira to get the same Pounds if you place the Naira (up) in order to get £20,317.1
Try it sir
Please stop stressing this, it's simple analytics.
You have been the only person getting the conversion right the whole time.
We don't have pounds, we don't have pounds, how on earth will anyone want the convert from pounds to naira.
That means you have have pounds and you want to sell it for naira.
Please unless you have excess cash in your bank account, follow scobby calculations. That's exactly how to do conversions.

Good evening guys, please does this represent an unconditional offer? This is just a part of the mail, but nothing like ‘unconditional offer’ in the mail.
This is not an offer in any way, this is an Information email.

I dont get this, could you kindly rephrase.
Question regarding POF.
Can I still be using my account where I have my POF for my day-to-day transactions?
Of course, the amounts in excess of the actual POF.
