First you have a point. They should be tried and locked up forever. But I guess like every other nation, Israel isn't perfect. In Nigeria we have more than 7000 people in jails without a court date.
But then put yourself in their shoes. With the number of Palestinian terrorists out there, it's nearly impossible to do everything by the books.

I travelled to a village in adamawa bordering Cameroon recently amd you should see how ships laden with cotton are being brought through the waters.
