Politics › Re: Why Does Ethnicity Play Such An Important Role In Nigerian Politics?? by blaquebelle(op): 7:01pm On Jun 11, 2022 |
So what happens to the people from the minority tribes. What about someone like me from the middle belt? That means we would just fold our arms and watch the 3 major tribes drag Nigeria into the mud with their ethnic games. I don't know if this country will ever be better honestly. thebosstrevor1: The people who will accused you of tribalism on woke Twitter are the ones olaying the ethnic game.
To me, peter obi is an igbo candidate for igbo people
Tinubu is a yoruba candidate for yoruba people
Atiku is a hausa/fulani candidate for hausa/fulani people.
I am a realist and Nigeria is a country witj lot of tribes, it is obvious that people will select their candidates based on tribe, it is human nature |
Politics › Why Does Ethnicity Play Such An Important Role In Nigerian Politics?? by blaquebelle(op): 6:43pm On Jun 11, 2022 |
I'm concerned about this seeing that Peter Obi's candidacy has already than been ethnicised when it is bigger than SE presidency. His candidacy started as a movement to produce a different caliber of leader that the youths felt is approachable and can be held accountable when things go wrong. But now it has been hijacked into something else though I can't blame the SE brothers since they haven't had a president in the longest time.
In an ideal world, we should be debating the selection of president between people like Peter Obi, Osinbajo, Hayatu-Deen, regardless their region of origin. I see them as the likes with good intentions but with the so called lack of political structure. If building strong political structure means you will have to embroider yourself in corrupt practices just to make allies and put your people in high places, then I think what we need are the candidates that have less political structure.
Pardon me for deviating. My point is this, Nigeria would most likely be assimilated before the next century so why must we hinder our growth with ethnicity arrangements and what not. Why should christian-christian or Muslim-muslim be considered first before the candidates' credentials, proven track record, and notable evidence of lack of corruption. I need this explained in a logical manner. |

I feel sorry for the both of you. Sexual incompatibility. I doubt there is any way out. It would be better to seek a professional sex therapist but they are rare in this country because people don't see it a priority. This is one of the disadvantages of not exploring sex before marriage but i will still preach abstinence before marriage. It seems compatibility is based on luck sometimes. |

Wow. Sorry about that. I really wish I had something tangible to donate now.
For clarification's sake, do you need to have bitcoin to donate to someone's bitcoin wallet?
I hope you get the amount you need. I appreciate the information you've been putting out. I'm kinda worried people will call you a scammer that only wanted donations in the first place. Also worried that after donations people will start to dictate what direction they want your research and information you share to go. People are funny that way, plus, your topics are controversial.
All the same, I hope things turn out well for you. This girl up, just SMH for you. |

Badgers14: But let's ask ourselves one question.
What have Osibanjo done in the last 7 years that would make someone vote for him to be the president the next 4 years? What has any Nigerian VP done in the time they held power. That's what i always ask myself. Is there some sort of embargo stopping them from taking actions? It seems so from all implications. |

Women don't have a version of the 'burden of performance men carry'. Rather they have their own unique burdens. This is because men and women are made differently and behave differently. I'll admit that men are unfortunately carrying more burdens because of society's dictates. I hope to see a time when things will be better for both genders. pansophist: I use God name beg you, please write it. I really want to know the female version of the burden of performance men carry. OurTruth: I'm not. Just that I don't think women deserve the amount of time and energy men devote to them.
Besides my instinctive attraction to womens bodies, which I would remove if I had the power to do so, there is no way I'll take them seriously. This is my own opinion.
Women are very shallow creatures and operate exclusively on instinct, not logic, even if they espouse logic through speech, their actions always deviate to instinct. I've done my research in this subject and I have my own personal experiences, so I'm very confident in what I'm saying. This one shock me. Ride on. Best of luck with your perception. |

OurTruth: You were supporting what she was saying without clarifying whether it was valid or not. Lol.
Most of you see posts from monikers with (F) and feel the need to quote her and support her argument, and usually she never responds even after you've calmed down to type a comment that you think will impress her. I see many of you on my threads all the time. It's hilarious.
Women have a very privileged place in our world. I wish in my next life I incarnate as a woman. These people are practically worshiped as gods by most men. It's sickening. You are prejudiced against women? Interesting. |

I'm not sure you read the post properly. 1Sharon: Why make slavery seem one-sided?
The slave trade was a joint effort between Europeans and Africans. Europeans bought slaves and Africans sold slaves and benefitted from the slave trade.
The people who were sold as slaves were already enslaved as prisoners of war on the continent.
Europeans didn't introduce slavery to Africa. |
