Wainey: going from military to democracy is not as easy as you think bro, a dictator will not want to relinquish power and if you complain on how they rule you, you could get killed.
England is not democracy either, it is more of unitary, parliamentary and constitutional monarchy. BTW, USA doesn't complain about the system, they complain about the govt You are right tho buh ECOWAS has to back out cos any military intervention will make the situation worse than it is already. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Burkina Faso’s Junta Slams Indefinite Ban On Radio Station Over Niger by Blaze14k: 10:32am On Aug 12, 2023 |
Wainey: Russia practice a federal, semi-presidential republic and not a military dictatorship while China practise unitary Marxist, these system of govt follows a constitution, A military govt doesn't have a constitution. I know this buh what I want u to understand is democracy from my opinion is not the best. Even people in United States and England complain about there system of governance. I believe the Niger junta will return to civil rule once they put everything in order. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Burkina Faso’s Junta Slams Indefinite Ban On Radio Station Over Niger by Blaze14k: 10:04am On Aug 12, 2023 |
Wainey: as an advocate of freedom and a man who likes to live like a bird, I love democracy. Our problem in Nigeria is not the politicians but the masses, we give too much power to a democratic govt and when someone else stands against misgovernment, we will attack that person and attach tribal and religious sentiment. A democratic govt isn't suppose to treat us badly if we knows the power we carry, we feel defeated even before we try. But I am hopeful that with time, we will definitely know our strength. But then this democracy is still better than a dictatorship. So how has this democracy u practice favoured you. I think the white feed us this narrative that democracy is the best form of governance. Look at china and Russia who don't practice democracy. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Burkina Faso’s Junta Slams Indefinite Ban On Radio Station Over Niger by Blaze14k: 9:42am On Aug 12, 2023 |
Wainey: let France take my resources. Cos in dictatorship, the dictator will still run the resources as they please and if you talk, it will be considered a coup and you might get killed. Dictators are coupists themselves but they will kill any percieved coup that wants to overthrow them So military rule and civilian rule in Nigeria which of them do you think is better |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Burkina Faso’s Junta Slams Indefinite Ban On Radio Station Over Niger by Blaze14k: 7:04am On Aug 12, 2023 |
Wainey: This is what a military dictatorship looks like, it is still fresh for now, wait until military don settle then freedom of speech will be completely seized..
Also to those saying that Niger people love their new leadership, shebi the radio is from Senegalese? If they ask you to chose between seizing ur freedom of speech or allow France to take ur resources with easy, which of them will u take |

Foreign Affairs › Re: African Union Backs ECOWAS Resolutions On Niger Republic by Blaze14k: 6:32pm On Aug 11, 2023 |
Goodlady: The problem is problem of Africa and Nigeriens not Tinubu's own. All I see is a gamble. If it works, it works. How can you gamble with war.. the only way I think they will win is if they wipe out the army and part of the citizens cos most of them support the coup and they are also willing to join fight the war. So who comes out a winner? Niger people or ECOWAS army. When Mali and burkina faso had its coup no one said a word so why is Niger so special? If ECOWAS attempt to invade Niger I think it will be a huge loss for Africa |
