THE SAME PLACE

“15. And when the servant of the man of God was risen...behold, an host compassed the city… 17. …the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and...behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire…”
(2 Kings 6: 15, 17)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

When Elisha’s servant arose in the morning, the city of Dothan was surrounded by Syrian forces. Dothan was bordered by mountains. So Syrian forces encamped on the mountains surrounding Dothan; Elisha’s servant saw enemies on the mountain; he saw negativity on the mountain.

God opened the eyes of Elisha’s servant, and on the same mountain where he saw the Syrian forces, he saw the heavenly host; on the same mountain where he saw Elisha's enemies, he saw those who came to work in Elisha’s favour; where he saw negativity, he began to see positivity.

Beloved, in the same places where you saw ‘Syrian forces’, you shall see the heavenly host. In the same places where you were rejected, you shall be accepted; in the places where men despised you, you will be celebrated.

In places where doors were shut against you, doors shall be opened unto you; in the same career/business where your growth has been stunted, you shall run ahead of your peers; where you saw enemies and negativity, you shall see positivity.

You may have seen challenges the last time you checked; God says, look again, you will see opportunities. You may have seen opposition in the past; just try again, you will see maximum cooperation. Whatever you saw in the past is nothing compared to what God is about to open your eyes to see.

If Jehovah is involved, in the same place where people, policies and circumstances were against you, you shall see the host of heaven working for you. It may be the same place, but different results.

Prayer : Lord, in the same places where I saw negativity, I shall have positive results, in Jesus’ name!Amen

DON'T SLUMBER

“...and they came by night, and compassed the city about.”

The men who were sent to capture Elisha came and surrounded the city at night. They didn’t come in the day time, when everyone would be alert to see what they were planning; they came at night when everyone should be fast asleep; they positioned themselves for evil at night.

Friend, in your moments of sleep and slumber, be careful, the enemy is going about, seeking to pull you down. As you sleep at night, some men are not sleeping like you, and they might make arrangements and enchantments to mess up your life. If you don’t care about midnight prayers, be sure there are people who practice midnight witchcraft and wizardry, and they want to make you a victim.

Everything that represents spiritual sleep in your life is a doorway for satanic invasion and attacks against you. If you slow down in prayers and warfare, beware, agents of darkness are positioning themselves for evil against you.

When the enemy pushes you into spiritual laziness, he is making arrangements to reduce your destiny to rubbles; when you become spiritually weak, beware, the enemy is not asleep like you.

The armies of Syria encamped against Elisha at night, and in the morning, their gathering manifested. Sometimes, what manifests in your 'morning' is a reflection of what was planned against you at 'night'.

Beware of any Career, Spiritual, Business slumber. 'Sleep' might be good enough just to rest but when it comes when you should be awake, a destiny might be truncated. Don’t sleep away; never allow a moment of spiritual slumber.

Matthew 13 vs. 25 warns: “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”

Prayer : Lord, wake me up from spiritual slumber; interrupt every gathering against me, in Jesus’ name!Amen

Good day great conquers in the thread ,I want to share a little word about renunciation to us ,especially to the newbies that don't understand renunciation and the Rpp...
So many people dnt understand renunciation , when they come to cct and they are given revelation prayers to do. So many r asking questions ....What is revelation prayer
It is the prayer u pray that reveal the situations of what u are going thru in life ,for instance foundation sins that our fathers and mothers have committed before we were born , God speaking in exodus 20 v 5 he says he visit the sins of inequities of our fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate him....
So when u go thru the revelation prayers u will be able to know what to renounce and what u need to confess to God ....
Renunciation- ps11v3 if the foundation is faulty what can the righteous do ?ish 59v1-3
What is renunciation- it means to depart, denial ,it also the act of turning away from sins , it is also the act of letting go
(2)It is also the act of telling the almighty God that u r sorry. For all the sins of ur fathers (3) it is also the act of asking for forgiveness for the sins of inequities of u mothers
(4)It is also the act of asking the lord to rewrite ur name in the book of life (5) it is also the act of. Giving ur life back to God ....
Deliverance- obadiah 1v17 (1) it is the act of been free from every oppression of the enemy (2) it is taking back what belong to u , taking back ur procession ....
U confess ur sins ,every hidden sins u have committed that the devil may want to use against u ,like abortion ,stealing ,committing adultery ,visiting different places for solution, using soap or bathing in the river ,marks or incision on ur body ,joining cult ,womanizing ,drinking ,etc ....God is not wicked

UNCHANGEABLE WORD

“And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.”
(2 Kings 6: 13)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

The king of Syria sent his men to fetch Elisha. They wanted to move Elisha from Dothan to wherever the king of Syria desired. They wanted to change Elisha’s location. Elisha was an embodiment of God’s word; so these men wanted to change the location of God’s word.

In the end, the king of Syria couldn't fetch Elisha; he couldn't change Elisha’s location. Elisha could speak words that would change things in different locations, but no man took him away from his location. Put differently, God’s word could change things in different locations, but no one could change the location of God’s word.

Friend, nothing and no one can change God’s word concerning you. God’s word concerning you is settled in heaven; God's word concerning you is guaranteed; God's word concerning you is quick and powerful, and no man can make it powerless; God’s word for your life is true and can't be reduced to falsehood; God’s word for you is unchangeable: no man can alter it.

No man can alter or erase God’s word concerning you; no man can stop God’s word from being fulfilled in your life; no man can reduce God’s word to falsehood in your life. Just like Elisha remained in Dothan and the king of Syria could not do anything about it, God’s word concerning you is intact, and no man can do anything about it.

Is there a word that God has written or spoken concerning you? Just hold on to it; the enemy cannot tamper with God's word concerning your life. Hold on to God’s word and it shall stand strong in your destiny.

Isaiah 40 vs. 8 says: “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

Prayer : Lord, no man can alter Your word concerning me, in Jesus’ name! Amen
