The governor said that although he loves the PDP, he cannot guarantee a seamless election victory in the party due to its ongoing internal crisis.
“I love the PDP, I want to stay in the PDP but clearly, I don’t have a road map to guarantee that I’ll be able to have a smooth sail in the elections, not because we won’t win elections. In this state today, with the work that all of us have done, even if we contest on a zero party, we will win this election. There’s no doubt about it. We’ve worked very hard, but we know that at the national level that our party is not coming together.
“Every day, secretary this and that, and so you take your form, they send it to INEC, and then you run all the elections, you perhaps win the elections and just on technical ground, because the wrong person signed your form, you lose everything,” Governor Eno said.

Obi also suggested that the insecurity in Nigeria, especially in the North, rests squarely on the issue of poverty, insisting that Nigeria could be great if its leaders change and invest in humanity.
Obi stated this on Sunday while delivering a fiery speech at the National Consultative Group (North) crucial meeting in Abuja.

A member of the People Democratic Party, Segun Sowunmi, has said his party needs to explore possible means of bringing back the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, into its fold.
Obi left the PDP in May 2022 for the Labour Party, reportedly complaining of massive bribing of delegates and vote buying during the party’s presidential primary. He also cited the existence of a party clique collaborating against him.
But three years later, Sowunmi is asking the PDP to work to bring Obi back.
‘’One of the people who was a PDP member, a South eastern man who felt based on the balance of play that the South-East was excluded, Peter Obi, was allocated 6.2 million votes, you lose the election, you run to the Supreme Court you lose, at least you were adjudged to have lost.

Sen. Godswill Akpabio, President of the Nigerian Senate has said while President Tinubu faced challenges in 2023, I foresee a significant turnaround in 2027, with more states rallying to support him.
"As I was leaving, a Labour Party senator begged me to join the APC. Not only will President Tinubu be the sole candidate of our party in 2027, but he will also be the sole candidate for Nigeria, as all other political parties have been torn apart."
"It is essential for the National Chairman of the APC to establish a committee within the NWC to disseminate the achievements of the Tinubu administration to the grassroots. Any society that is not well-informed is deformed, especially in this age of social media.
"A small ant that enters your trousers can cause you so much discomfort that you'll jump up and down."
"Despite the sporadic attacks from your enemies and enemies of Nigeria, you have performed admirably, Mr. President."
