Sabi mama's pls your opinion is needed. How many times can I feed(EBF) my DS in a day. He's 3 weeks 3 days, I usually feed on demand,( say 9 to 11 times from 12am) but these days I noticed his stomach has become much more bigger and he's not even adding weight. He doesn't appear like I am breastfeeding him. He weighed 2.7 at birth. Stayed in the hospital for a week due to jaundice, he weighed 2.9 when we were discharged.

Well done ma'am,please continue to feed him whenever he wants or try expressing to know if he is taking enough br-east milk,don't worry as time goes on that shape will change ,use warm water to gently massage his stomach while bathing,it is well

Hello house....we are 14wks and I am really worried about the quantity of discharge I am having (Whitish and clumpy). It doesn't feel like infection because I am not itchy. Anybody experiencing the same thing? Abeg, sabi mama's can also lend their voice on how I can manage this situation. ANC is next week,but I will appreciate your comments on this issue.

lol,i can relate to this,sorry you just have to let it go,we are all human & offences must come.,some of our husbands do not see what we mothers go through to ensure our kids are being cared for,they believed we know everything so nothing should go wrong.,pls don't be upset,is a matter of understanding.

newborns generally sleep for plenty plenty hours. Their stomachs are still small too so I'm sure he's getting filled if not he will be crying/gives cues that he wants to eat.

To aid lactation, drink hot water/pap/tea. hot meals. fenugreek seeds also work if you can get it from big stores/pharmacies.
Make sure you are resting well. stay happy and positive too.

Enjoy motherhood.

Your LO will continually be a source of joy & blessing to you & your family.

stop laying beside him,simply look for another place to rest whenever he is sleeping,also try to get him a bed asap if you can.
this phase will pass soon.

You can buy Vitamin c for the catarrh or you can try Avrolin(for babies) that's if your baby is over 3months old.

As for the Immunization site, if it's the BCG arm, leave it. But if it's the thigh that's swollen, place cold pure water in a washcloth and keep it on the site for some seconds. Morning, noon and night.
