Fox polls indicate that 55% of Americans want Trump Impeached |
One republican in the house had to defect and become independent so he could vote for Trump to be impeached and there are fears that more would defect. Also two thirds of the senate (when Trump eventually appears there) are showing strong concerns and want a fair hearing. They also want to uphold the constitution and not run along party lines |
If there was ANY concern or fear about President Trump being impeached, we would see it in the US stock market. The DOW and S&P are up for the day, up for the week, up for the month, and at its highest since Trumps inauguration day. It appears investors are happy with the proceedings |
SUCH ATROCIOUS LIES BY THE RADICAL LEFT, DO NOTHING DEMOCRATS. THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON AMERICA, AND AN ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!! -------Donald Trump (10mins ago) |
https://www.aljazeera.com/mritems/Images/2019/12/18/066a2534fdf645ee944e9fc58df4c2d9_18.jpg IT IS DONE. ON 12-18-19, DONALD JOHN TRUMP, IMPEACHED. ONLY THE 3RD AMERICAN PRESIDENT IMPEACHED IN U.S. HISTORY. US President Donald Trump was impeached on Wednesday by the Democratic-led House of Representatives for obstruction of Congress and abuse of power related to his dealings with Ukraine. Wednesday's historic votes on impeachment comes after a two-month inquiry by House Democrats, who accuse the president of pressuring Ukraine to open an investigation into the president's political rival and former vice president, Joe Biden, who is also a frontrunner in the 2020 Democratic presidential race. They also charge that the president obstructed their investigation by refusing to comply with subpoenas and directing members of his administration to do the same. Trump will became the third president in United States history to be impeached. Wednesday's votes set the stage for a trial in the Republican-led Senate in January. No president has ever been removed from office via the impeachment process set out in the Constitution, and Republican senators have given little indication of changing that. As the House prepares for the landmark impeachment vote, here are all the latest updates as of Wednesday, December 18: Trump is impeached Trump is impeached with 222 votes in favour and 170 against the first article of impeachment. Thirty-four representatives did not vote. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/12/trump-impeachment-latest-updates-191217222856043.html Mynd44, Lalasticlala
