Ehrnie: I recall someone asked about order of landing (she was going to land this week or so, before her family and wanted to know what was acceptable). I searched for the post so I can reply directly but couldn't find it again if you are the one, the information below is the order of landing as stated in the CoPR. All the best.
ORDER OF LANDING FOR FAMILIES/DELAYED ARRIVAL: There are two options for family landings. Whichever option you choose, it is important to remember that the principal applicant must always be the first landed. Option A: The entire family (including the principal applicant) lands together. If you choose this option, all family members must land at the same time and at the same port of entry. Option B: The principal applicant lands first alone. The dependants may then follow the principal applicant at a later date provided their COPR’s remain valid. Tnx dear, I have just read it on d other link too. Jah bless bro |

esosa4real: At the time you got the "additional docs not needed" in NA2 stage, it meant that your file has either be concluded at the CIO dept or has been transferred to a new dept (Local VO).
Once the file is treated/opened by the local VO, it becomes IP2 and then PPR!
;DSo congrats in advance
Pls update when you enter ip2 + where was ur CIO? Ottawa or Nova scotia? Tnx dear, appreciate ya clarification . Vo was ottawa |

berniemac: Hello House,
I just started following this forum and it has really helped with my application process. But before I started reading the blog i engaged a law firm -David Cohen's to be specific. I have found out that they have not helped other than collect money and give scanty information. I already paid half the fees but feel that with the help and interactions here I can go ahead and complete the process myself.
I want to terminate the contract before they open an account to submit my EE. So the relevant questions are:
Is it possible to terminate a contract if fees are still pending? / second installment hasn't been paid (especially if it is before the submission of the EE application?) Is there any kind of severance fee or does it just need to be a written letter asking for termination of services?
Thanks. I was in same boat with this David cohen through 2015/2016. They are not in anyway helpful n are just after your cash. Don't pay anymore money to them. Tell them that you no longer want to pursue ur immigration dream cos you lack funds to continue. Contract or not, you now lack money hence that will fall through . Be firm but polite when u contact them. Good riddance to bad rubbish |

KweenCee: Do you mean u had a pending study permit application and you cancelled it when you wanted to apply for PR?
Please sorry for my questions. I want to know what to do to my pending study permit application before applying for PR. I had applied for study before this; but on strong advice from already citizens, I cancelled it. I don't quite understand d dual intent clause n didn't want anything interfering or slowing down d pr app |

40manlappy: Don't worry!
The "Ready for Visa" email (aka PPR) will give detailed instructions on what to do next e.g. completion of the IMM8 form, Height and Eye Colour Chart, 2 passports photo in white background for each family member, a printout of the mail itself, etc Ok tnx. Shebi I can just type out the height/color chart on word and attach? |

Ajujuju2: Congrats sis. glad your wait is almost over. Was getting a bit confused when i saw you ask about accomodation in Nanaimo BC as a student. But i figured you were close to pr and would ditch the student visa in a heart beat.
So anyways just to help debunk or confirm this CIO Sydney delay theory, please state your visa office if you know it.
@Ehrnie... Congrats!!! I had ditched d student visa tey tey oo. Visa office is Ottawa. Tnx n wish u a positive outcome on urs |
