Can one apply for medicals before receiving his/her acceptance letter?

earthgreeners: Bros I suggest u take the next UTME exam, and enrol @ at a Nigerian university for ur Undergraduate degree or a National Diploma just to brush up...Then u can think of Canada for transfer credit or a Masters degree....
Studying in Canada is not just about having the money to pay ur tuition fees and Living expenses..Itz about keeping up with the high standard of education

I know I can handle the high standard of education, and that why I want to go there. You shud know that sometimes, exams here can be so frustrating. I did my best,as my fellow mates did... but waec rewarded us with d7 in math. See what it want to cost me now. All is well anyways, and God is in control.

It is expected dt the money in d acnt shld be able to take care of ur fees+living expense and as well, ur uncle should have enough remaining to take care of himself and other dependants.
Apart 4rm d closing balance, the cash flow and source of fund is also important.

My dad is to sponsor me, not my uncle. Anyways, we just asked him since he studied at Canada. the tuition fee for my course is $4500-$7600($7600 for all science courses, then $4500 for my course) and accommodation is around $6500( for double, then one person will pay average of that). So you see why he said so?
Also, my family still got some to keep them going great.
Hope am all cleared?

freshdude: bro 10 mill is cool...so long as the account is healthy and cash wasn't lodged there for visa purpose. then ur good to go. after paying tuition which is about 2.5 mill, **depending on the uni** u still have 7.5 as ur closing balance before they issue u ur TRV, so u have got nottin to worry about.

My uncle said 3M will do. my tuition and acc fee, summed about 2.4M. shocked anyways.

TRV_IJN: You need to get admission first, get your acceptance letter then make your student visa application . The student visa application processing time is 4-6 months so if your school resumes say, Sept 1, 2013. The latest you should submit your application is April 30, 2013. My advise therefore to you is to work on gaining the admission and getting the requisite documents from your school to aid your application and then gather all other documents. Read the thread from the begining but for now, channel your energies to getting admission.

Good advice. The skool actually stated April 1st as their deadline,,, So am waiting on waec to release the result, then me'll start my applicationn asap.

freshdude: what course do u want to study??... use http://www.aucc.ca/ to search for uni's that offer your course. then from there you can choose the one you want to apply to based on their curriculum, **departmental courses they offer** location, and cost. also if u looking at studying with internship or coop program, u can incorporate them in ur search..

The school is on d bottom of the ladder. if u don't have any serious reason, plz change ur choice as it won't be good paying so much in canada for a low class school. It matters.

Also, is Nigeria exempted from the countries that are required to submit the english language proficiency exam, at memorial university of newfoundland?
