@all, I didn't include any O'level result in my application for graduate studies to MUN and U of R...I hope this won't be a problem for me.
2. is it compulsory I include the O'level cert. in my application for TRV
Am asking this because I have a problem in my waec cert. I didn't make credit in English language and my Date Of Birth is one year higher than the one on my Int'l passport.
I have neco tho, but I don't think it is recognized at international level.

Anyway, the reasons were that

1. i did not show i had sufficient funds to cover my studies without working in Canada.
2. I did not show i had enough funds to cater for myself and family member following me to canada.
3. Sponsorship not credible.

I think my fixed deposit certificate which had the bulk fund was ommited and my savings account was used to appraise my application.

I did not indicate that any family member was joining in my trip.

my application was self sponsor but i put my sister as additional sponsor. I have also decided to add another sponsor alongside her. what do you think ?

please do i have to send all those docs again?

mercylicious: It seems ur choice of course was too different from ur academic history. When their is a big shift, it is always followed up by a powerful letter of intent.
Ur denial really got me scared. We are both self sponsor,ur acnt bal was more than mine, earning more than mine and also better ties. Ur denial really got me on my knees. D last time I prayed like this was when I was looking 4 job years back. It is well.

If I were in ur shoes, ill try and get an advanced diploma in geology.
Oil sector in canada is booming. Going for HOUR and still coming back to geology to me is a waste of resources.
If u finally decide to go for geology, don't go too far from calgary. Any college in calgary and d neighbouring province will do.

@blink, yes funding is schorlarship. most masters students are consider for funding when they apply for admission. for some skools u have to apply for funding separately.

Siga: ....point of correction...the Temp in December can be as low as -22c in most parts....infact one time for Toronto it was -35 windchill....now, about the delay....they have a huge backlog of various applications....also...the government have a set amount of visas to grant every month...once they reach that number...they relax until the next month or maybe quarterly....few things I know about Canada is that they make plans in the system to accommodate immigrants...plus...since they have to check all naija docs like calling banks and all...it takes time...so...dont be discouraged...I felt same way one time...God never fails...

lillaowow: I think delaying of applications all over the world by CDHC is a delibrate attempt to cut-down the numbers of applicants.

Nigeria as a case study:
Most June applicants have been answered over a months and two weeks ago.
Some july applicants have been called close to a months ago.
Someone reported that VAC stopped accepting applications from Winter applicants around the 2nd week in september.
So where exactly is the high number of applications they receive comming from?
I'm sure they don't receive high visiting applications around this time. Who would wanna go to canada at this time (december I mean) for tourism?? Chilling in a -4 degree Celsius all in d name of tourism?

I'm convinced (but not certain) delaying of application is a deliberate attempt or they're just lazy. C'mon, it doesn't even take them a week to reach any decision on an application. #FRUSTRATED..... Abeg, I need my docs back jare esp ma passport make I continue wit ma bankinn transactions.
